PoliticsRe: We Will Blow Out The Presidential Villa.- Mend by Skidoc(m): 3:40pm On Jan 01, 2009
Jakumo:
I know this is slightly off-topic, but what is with the Nigerian preachers who call themselves primates ?

I have only ever heard of the term "primate" in reference to primates of the MONKEY persuasion, so I am mystified as to how this term crept into the lexicon of the Nigerian church hierarchy.

Could any historians or theologists in the house please shed light on this troubling mystery ?

Veering back to the topic, it might not be a bad idea to hire MEND demolition experts to implode that hideous circular marble pseudo-Arabic monstrosity that houses Nigeria's president in Aso Rock, so that something a little more befitting of king can be constructed in its place.
Hi Jakumo, please read here for your question regarding Primate.

Guys please don't let this denegerate into a war of words. Outlaw has a point about the people who, under the cover of tradition, extort money from their in-laws. He just didn't express himself politely.

Weren't these women pregnant prior to coming to the Congress?

What's Pastor Adeboye's point?

.
My thoughts exactly. How's that a miracle? They were pregnant, weren't they?
Christianity EtcRe: For Catholics: Who Is Your Favorite Saint? by Skidoc(m): 2:05pm On Dec 20, 2008
Some people are just straight-up fools, attention seekers and disrupters of peace. This thread clearly states "For Catholics: Who  is your favourite Saint?" yet they still come and write rubbish. St. Abacha ko, St. your grandfather ni.

Sorry people, my favourite saints are: Holy Virgin Mary and John Bosco.

@Michelin89, Actually I thought this thread was made by a beautiful girl who was just trying to be funny, but when I checked the picture on your profile, I saw that you're truly ugly. sad

Orikinla:
Okay. So, my Nigerian Times is great to have become so popular since June 2005 to date!
Then my Nigerian Times is the second most popular Nigerian blog? grin
I thank God!
Well if Technorati says so, then Yes! And congrats for that! But always remember to put "in the blogosphere". . . grin
WebmastersRe: The Traffic Rank Of The Most Popular Nigerian Websites by Skidoc(m): 8:38pm On Aug 08, 2006
Orikinla, Technorati does not measure traffic.
Technorati measures the number of blogs that link/reference to a blog so that's just within the blogosphere, we are talking of popularity to the whole of the internet. Alexa measures the real traffic because not all visitors can link/reference, a greater number of people just read. smiley

So we can say Blacklooks is the most popular Nigerian blog in the blogosphere but not on the world wide web. grin
WebmastersRe: The Traffic Rank Of The Most Popular Nigerian Websites by Skidoc(m): 9:44pm On Aug 07, 2006
Traffic rank for Blacklooks.org: 3,467,664

Traffic rank for Deoluakinyemi.com: 452,335
Traffic rank for yemma.com.ng: 2,081,517
Traffic rank for kayodemuyibi.com: 2,210,674

Even if we are not going to rely on these stats as accurately accurate, the gaps are wide enough to prove it. tongue
WebmastersRe: The Traffic Rank Of The Most Popular Nigerian Websites by Skidoc(m): 6:52pm On Aug 07, 2006
Orikinla:
I repeat that Black Looks is the most popular Nigerian blog.

If you want to prove otherwise, do so with proof. And I don't have time to argue.
I'm not here to argue either. grin You know where you got these stats below:

WebmastersRe: The Traffic Rank Of The Most Popular Nigerian Websites by Skidoc(m): 10:12pm On Aug 06, 2006
Orikinla:
The most popular Nigerian blog is Sokari Ekine's Black Looks http://www.blacklooks.org
I don't think so. Deolu Akinyemi's blog, Emmanuel Oluwatosin's blog and Kayode Muyibi's blog are more popular.

Oga Skidoc,

From from underrating my friend. Did you look at the latter part of my question (because I knew someone wd say what u ended up saying)? The one about Okorafor in Isiala Ngwa being unable to afford Peak Tin milk for his tea, not to mention tea, not to mention dentist?

Read it again and then tell me if I am under-rating grin
That was why I also added in the latter part of my post that most of them are jobless looking for teeth to fix meaning that a hungry dentist's price would surely be less than affordable sef! So Aki na Ukwa grin, carry Okorafor to dentist now now!

LOL krazystage:

The poster is in Nigeria. Are there that many dentists there and most importantly, if present, are their prices affordable by the "common man"?
Interesting the way you people underrate Nigeria. Do you how many dentists are produced every year in Nigeria? Most of them are even jobless, looking for teeth to fix. grin
