I work in a bank but grew up as a farmer!.
I am interested in starting a fish farm in abuja. i just acquired 1hectare of land at a suburb
pleas i have the following questions:

1. where can i get big plastic bowls to serve as fish ponds and how much do they go for.

TWO things,

CBN is now very tough of KYC issues and it is easier to trace money posted into an account than paid over the counter.
and I think that is why your Nigeria's drivers licence was asked for.
The other way to think is that they are marketing you just to open an account but i guess they went abt it in an immatured way!

CBN is also working on paying western union into an account and not paying over the counter like the current practice is.

I also think we need to imbibe the culture of using technology in our daily lives instead of wasting precious time. that is y gtbank came out with Gtconnect so customers can get all information about their accounts through the facility.
It is better you check ur balance using internet banking facility from ur office instead of going all the way to the bank just to check ur account balance.

with all the banks being asked to do adequate provisioning for bad loans which they have being carrying and poting the interest on these bad loans to their balance sheet, the profit of all the banks have declined considerably and it is obvious that the running cost is too high for the real profit they are making.

Uba declared 50b profit last yr but has declared a loss of 9b this yr!!! that shows a sharp decrease of 59b. now, how can most banks still pay the kind of armed robber salary they used to pay??
