my wife and I found out we are both AC before we got married 8 yrs ago. i did some research on the internet about this and found out that it was not really a fatal condition except that ur kids have chances of being a CC. CC has aneamic condition and are allergic to a lot of stuffs.

We have two kids now, the eldest is AC while the younger is not old enough for us to check his genotype.

I once read n article by a specialist that the older you get, the better for you to take food supplements to rejuvenate your body.
He actually mentioned that anybody that reaches the age of 35yrs should take food supplements. (actually, that is in a normal environment, lagos not included)
I have worked for 12yrs, 11 of which was in Lagos (hmmmm) driving to and from victoria Island everyday has taken a huge tole on me.

i can imagine what ur goin thru. having someone u cannot share ur worries with n all that. Anytime he is on vacation, pack ur bags and go with him. I am sure when u sit him down and talk things over, he will look at his schedule and see where the family can fit in. The best of time u can be a dad to ur kids is when they are still kids.

I really feel for u. I just want u to know that it is a situation that can be overcome.
U can read about fibroid from the internet and find ways other than surgery to resolve the situation.
there is a new procedure that i read about which tends to shrink the fibroid till it disappears.

i think the idea of NYSC was great but the strategy out to have been updated from the idea of 1973 when it was established. then Nigeria just came out of a civil war and the idea of integration was good.

now in 2007, i think the govt should go an extra mile in using the scheme to jumpstart the technological age.

100,000 graduands are churned out every year to an economy that is not creating more jobs so i think, the one yr scheme should be used in incullcating enterpreneurship in the participants.

it could also be changed so that everybody in the scheme is given a one yr intensive training course on information technology.
this can actually jumpstart the technological revolution of nigeria which is needed at this time.

sad to say but, how many of us really bothered to read the whole article?
the writer was writing about the megacities which lagos is one.
it is also obvious that most of us here are not writers and none here might ever win an award for literature.
The writer was describing lagos so that people that have never been in lagos can imagine the place in their mind. He was also trying to compare the megacities of the world.

dont be fooled, getting a great job in nigeria is not easy ( not yam like we say).
I have worked for 12yrs in nigeria and i am still thinkin of goin to england using hsmp.
it also depends on ur focus. whats ur plans are in 5 yrs u know.

my candid opinion, u did not act like a gentleman by shouting at ur fiancee. u did not like her shoutin at u, but u felt u should shout at her. i dont t hink that is fair.
u also need to know that when someone shouts at u continuously, u tend to get scared of the person and that is not true love.
i think u should take the bold step of goin to meet this lady, apologise to her that u will never shout at her again and make ammends.
what goes round comes round. if u dont like to be shouted at, dont shout at people.

I just joined this forum and i think it is a great one. I work in unity bank and i am glad for coolwater joining us but u need to get some things straight.
the 1.9m paid fresh graduates is true but 25% is given to u based on performance. that means a quarter of ur salary is tied down and will not be given to u till ur appraisal is done and the management thinks u have performed well.
I am actually in charge of the development of the appraisal application and i know what i am saying but the good thing is, the bank is going thru some restucturing which will be good for anybody joining at this time.
