Application fee for what? Admission or visa?

Whichever you want to pay for, please note that such payment cannot be made through naira card due to CBN policies. Your best bet is to get a dollar card, fund through black market and make your payment accordingly. Also some other means too have been mentioned here severally. Just scroll back a bit.

Regards

Alright, I appreciate the response.

For my payments, I used a virtual dollar card on "Klasha" and it was very easy and seamless.
Just download the app, check how much their naira to dollar rate is, fund your account with the naira equivalent then fund your dollar card. They'll show you the card details and you'll be able to make any payments easily.
Hope this helps, goodluck : )

Alright, thanks for the response.

Yes, can I process it with banks here in Nigeria?

Glock22:

I think they meant Canadian bank drafts or money order.

Pls I'm trying to pay for my application fee, Western University gave option of paying using credit card (I used Naira card but I didn't go through). They also gave an option of paying through Money order or Bank Draft, I want to enquire if the payment can go through if I go to the bank and use the Money order option? Thanks in anticipation.

zubizareta:

I was told to pay 9,930 or so when I went to submit for study permit after they had collected it for visit visa submission. Infact the Lady told me for every subsequent new application you want to submit passport for, you will pay the 9,930.

But if you haven't submitted it yet for visit visa, make a photocopy of that yellow slip though I doubt it would change anything from what the lady told me.

Good day all, what are the tricks of getting a response from supervisors, I have e-mailed someone supervisors but no response from them, the only one that responded said he isn't taking any PhD student at the moment due to low funding. Pls, I will really appreciate hints from you all here, thanks.

It’s a good fit for your previous education. However, if you are not a recent graduate, the proposed program should be related to your current occupation.

Good day, I studied Medical Microbiology (Epidemiology field of study) during my M.Sc and now I want to apply for a PhD program under Epidemiology, I just want to know if I will be considered for admission and also if University of Saskatchewan is a good fit or you can make other suggestions for me, thanks in anticipation.

bullstriker:
To avoid the issue of digression and establish relevance to your present occupation, go for a program related to your current employment. For example, if you are self-employed, business programs like Supply Chain, logistics, Management etc., fit perfectly.
You can reach out if you need free assistance with school admission…just school admission

Hello everyone, I have a question to be clarified on.... I already started my application to study at University of Saskatchewan and during filling of bio data and other stuffs, there was a place I was asked if my intention to study in their school is solely based on the funding attached (it's a Yes or No answer needed). I'm confused on which one to tick, please I need assistance on which to go with, thanks.

PS.... I'm going for a PhD program

Most PhD, (IF NOT ALL) are fully funded.

There are however no cheap ones. You could say “fairly expensive”.
...
the deal is getting a supervisor. I’m sure you know about that requirement.

All the best

Yes I know about getting a supervisor, thanks for the response.
