Theinfomayniac: Of course, You can buy BTC directly. I used to usdt in the example to avoid confusing beginners due to price volatility. Okay, I understand now. I was able to follow the process you outlined & I bought a little of ADA & still have a little usdt change left in my wallet I am indeed grateful to you for dedicating your time to teach beginners like me. You are appreciated |

Theinfomayniac: Yes, the P2P method is thesame on both platforms Why can't I buy btc directly through p2p instead of first buying usdt, transfering from wallet to wallet before buying any coin. Is there any disadvantage in direct purchase? |

Theinfomayniac: 1.Google authenticator provides additional security for your account.

Theinfomayniac: Moving on
Just so you know; here are the requirements for the account verification and Authentication phase.
1. Google authenticator app( down load it if you don't have it already on your phone)
2. Your personal info such as i.d card, BVN and your personal photography whic would be taken with your phone camera for direct upload.
The process is not difficult Just follow the prompt step by step. Better still use a PC for this phase. Please is Google authentication app download compulsory? I only did i.d card verification, no bvn or pictures I am seeing something like 0.06 withdrawal limit on my dashboard Between Lite & Pro, which one is advisable to use? (by a beginner) Can I buy any coin at this stage, if I do will withdrawal be easy in case? I need your input please as these have been my concern & reason I haven't deposited anything since I downloaded the app Thanks in anticipation |

Grupo: I did 364 days wit stanbic last week and it was successful. Maybe the agent you talked to in the Bank lied to you.
Let me shock you, it's likely the customer care person didn't key in your form into their system. So, to save face, they'd lie that their bid wasn't successful.
Bankers do this all the bank.
For instance, sometimes, when you want to make remita payment, a lazy banker can easily tell you there's no network. Whereas the real issue is that they don't want to stress themselves logging into remita platform. My thoughts exactly because I did same 364 days in the last primary auction & it was successful |

exclusiveoloori: Hello house. I have been trying to invest in Tbills through stanbic and first bank and it failed. Pls is there any other bank that is guaranteed or better still what other risk free investment can I opt into. Thanks Stanbic last primary auction was successful. Maybe you visited a branch that doesn't know anything about tbills |

Grupo: Stanbic debited me.
But I was expecting the rate would be around 9.6 but from my calculations, the rate is below 9%. Sigh! 9% isn't that bad. They've had series of unsuccessful bid in the past couple of weeks. They played safe this time so they could be successful |

bmarketing: Are you okay? I was given that rate by the two marketing officers I met in the bank. I was surprised myself so I had to go with the target savings so don't confront me, go to the bank to confront them. Generally, fixed deposit rates are not encouraging unless there are new changes. Let's be guided, please. No lies in this at all. Even Gtbank gave my friend 1% for 180days |

Mymynd4u: Thanks, Pls, the interest.. Is it paid weekly or monthly Your interest is calculated daily but based on the option you selected while filling the form, they either reinvest it (adding it back to your capital) or pay it into your bank account quarterly |

Mymynd4u: I just wana no how to do it Cox I'm interested Alright. Ikjosh04: Quite easy, walk into a stanbic branch close to you and let them know you want to invest in mmf. You'll be given a form to fill to open an mmf account, kindly go with the necessary documents you used to open the savings account you're currently using. Documents like, passport, NEPA bill e.t.c. I' m sure this has answered your question. That was what I did when I opened mine though I learnt you can equally open the account after downloading the mobile app, by selecting "open an instant account" I never used that option |

martin123: Good morning all. Please, if there is any other forum, where treasury bills is discussed, someone should send me a link, because I can see that they’ve turned this one to something else. Thanks You are still on treasury bills thread dear I'm sure you are going to learn one or two things from what is being discussed here lately. When tbills rates were sweet, even though there were digressions here & there it would quickly be returned to main subject. Now that we hear about 3,4 & 5 % rate per annum for tbills, some of us now visit to see other ways to diversify our funds. If you are new here however, you may read up the first few pages , ask some questions in areas you don't seem to understand and I'm sure you would be attended to. Las las we go dey alright |

SimpleLuxuries: United Capital Plc has a bond fund. This is the link https://investnow.ng/Products/AM_BON#collapseExample
They quoted an interest rate of 15% as at yesterday. I have been told that it is a high risk though because it doesn't guarantee the principal. I don't understand why especially since it's invested in Sovereign bond and not equities.
I'm still doing my homework sha. Will chook head when I fully understand. But the rate sounds good. Really interesting. The rate looks real good but capital not guaranteed is a minus o. I'll dig deep to get more info & do proper findings about it. If I am convinced based on personal findings, I go follow chook head. I appreciate the hints |

zamirikpo: All this talk about bonds in not sweeting me at all.
Am in love with that upfront interest on TB, nothing beats that.
My anger is not even the 8-10% on TB it's the prorating.
As a business man I need to be liquid.....cant afford to lock down huge capital for 3-5 yrs(20m &above). When anything can come up.
Watching the market daily....TB it is You are not alone brotherly. Though I like interest reinvestment, I still don't think i' m financially matured enough to abandon my money somewhere for a whole 3 -20 years without wanting to feel it in my bank account. I seriously doubt it I'll just be running my mmf for now & watch how things go. I'll be checking for updates every now and then to see any improvement |
