We usually work with welders!! Fix and iron rod to your deck…. Before attaching biding wire don’t use concret nail! No it won’t work

These are extra work but it worth it!

With what you have highlighted, I think the best solution is to make provisions for binding wire loops during decking to be attached in situ.

The problem with all these new universites is that at the end of the day, funding is going to be a palaver, and when government starts saying make we increase fees, that's where wahala go start.

A country with a budget less than 50 billion dollars, education taking less than 5 billion, and we expect the same thing for a country that spends 100 billion dollars on education alone.

The goal is to work with the Schools to have a pipeline of technical school to construction site jobs. This is pretty much at an infant stage. Suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately None. I know Nigerians. Anyone that went through such training will crookedly elevate himself to the title of engineer. Seek his own contracts and fully handle building projects.
Even people who did not get any formal training do so, let alone someone who went for some formal training.

Hence the confusion if this was meant to be a technician level training essentially for those who desire practical hands on skill often times because all the reading is not their forte why then do they need further reading outside the university system.

Let me give you an example why they need further formal training to attend the masters level position. Let’s consider a plumber career in the US which is what I am familiar with, and I believe same is obtainable in Nigeria. Just that it’s a little watered down in Nigeria.

At the basic entry level, the plumber is trained to be competent in doing basic hands-on tasks. He is competent but still a novice. Remember that in any career, there are novice, intermediates and experts. Compared with a masters plumber, at this higher level, they have more responsibilities. For instance, a masters level technician plumber is trained to know building regulations, codes , interpretation of mechanical drawings, materials testing etc. All these require formal education and training beyond the entry level scope. Now you can see that 2 years of OND is not enough to cover all of these things.

The OND and HND distinction is responsible for problem. Why would a welder, plumber, carpenter, bricklayer, window installer, hair dresser, fashion designer, chef need more than 2 years training a lot even are work ready within a year.

There are Masters level technicians in most fields. They need more than 2 years of training and practice. Those ones have higher training other than the entry level training of OND. Ideally, there are different pathways to acquire the advanced knowledge, competency and recognition. The two most common are through more years of practice under a master technician or through additional years of school and internship like the HND program.
This is why OND and HND should be separate and in stages. .

This is mainly for local flights, especially when arriving at MM2. Some cheapskates with light luggage may choose to 'leg it' out of the airport to the road and hitch buses or whatever.

I'm not sure anyone who arrives at the international airport would consider that option. Ontop saving how much? Come on.

I have done it several times arriving with Lufthansa and Air France. But I know my way sha!
