Your business men and all international travelers from your states go to Lagos to buy airline ticket from airline companies in Lagos. They collect VAT and pay to Lagos state government

Your utility companies all have their headquarters in Lagos. Any time your pay your bills, you are paying some as VAT to Lagos government.

Recently CBN operations was moved to Abuja, they fought tooth and nail and brought it back to Lagos, all because of VAT.

8bags cement= 80000
Trip of sand= 75000
Labour 700 per sq= 55300
Total = 842300

Where in the south east?
Umuahia and Nnewi cement is 9k . But transportation and loading could make it up that 10k .
Tiles of 8000 per square is obviously a Nigerian 30 x 60 tiles. The price is fair but could be a little less. ( 60x 60 is #11k while 60x 120 is 15k Nigeria tiles) .
Sand is high but it depends on the area. Currently we buy 10 tons soft sand for #50k
Lastly, labor #700 is cheap or should I say fair. But make sure they know what they are doing.

Unfortunately, that is not how to enforce city ordinance. People , including organized entities (like churches) are meant to follow the law. You do not leave enforcement for them. laws are usually enforced through coordination effort with peace officers. The fire marshals and emergency personnel are also supposed to be proactive and not reactive.

All these things are where tax payers money should be channeled but we are far from getting it right in this part of the world. Instead, an easy or an unsubstantiated explanation is often attributed to such occurrence. We find it comforting to assume they were spiritual or diabolic incidents . Then it is swept under the carpet. Next year it happens again and the cycle of idiocy continue.

There is absolutely nowhere to organize in any event venue that is 2 to 3 times filled beyond capacity. This is why in Western countries, all event venues and building including churches must post the capacity limit in a conspicuous manner for all to see. And they cannot go beyond that limit.

This is why divorce is increasing

There could be, but this particular incident is caused by recklessness. How do you fill a venue far beyond capacity and expect nothing to happen?

This is supposed to be the job of fire service to regulate building occupancy rate.
During an event like this, they are supposed to be present at the venue to prevent people from filling the venue beyond capacity.

The state house is supposed to call the fire Chief for questioning.

I don’t see the camera you are referring to. If you are talking about the monitor, it could be anywhere in the house.
The other set up in the picture is for the Solar system and not camera.

Good evening everyone....Please, is it advisable to buy a land filled with oil palm/palm-tree for development?

Count the numbers of palm trees, contact people who do the uprooting , then calculate the cost before proceeding.
Where I am currently building, We uprooted about 12 palm trees for 10k each.

Another thing to remember is cost of moving the fallen palms from the site because the uprooting guys will not move it for you.

Even when they have uprooted the trees, they would need to roll the trees away from the proposed building area, they will still need to cut them into movable sizes. That cost money too.

Some people do use bulldozer. It will do all the work but might cost much more.
