RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY, 24TH JULY 2025. Pastor Chris THEME: GOD IS WORKING IN YOU THEME SCRIPTURE: Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). Live your life every day, conscious of the reality that the Lord is at work in you, and that He’s faithful to complete the good work He’s started in you! That means no need to struggle with whatever assignment He’s committed to your hands. He’ll see to it that you complete it gloriously. All you need is to rely on His divine power working in you. It brings to mind what Paul, by the Spirit, tells us in Philippians 2:13, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” This means that it’s God Himself who is at work in you, making you willing and giving you the ability to do His good pleasure. He’s actively working in you, inspiring and enabling you to fulfil His divine purpose. How could you fail when God is working in you? You’re His operational headquarters here on earth, functioning by His divine ability. You’re a success because He is at work in you. His divine presence in you ensures that you accomplish His purpose. Hallelujah! This means you can actively win souls in large numbers into the Kingdom, the Lord working in and with you. Consider what the angel of the Lord said to Gideon in Judges 6:14: “...Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites....” God was telling Gideon that what he had was sufficient. The same applies to you. What you have is enough. Christ in you is enough. God at work in you is enough. You can call forth men and women from the north, south, east and west of your city into salvation in your intercession. They’ll converge unto you because God is working in you. You’re a burning and a shining light. You’re burning with the fire of the Holy Ghost, and that fire will attract many into the Kingdom. The hand of God is mighty upon you; therefore, you’re increasing in grace, strength, and impact. PRAYER Dear Father, your power is at work in me, causing me to accomplish great things for the Kingdom. I am a burning and a shining light, a soul winner, and a beacon of your glory. Your Spirit is mighty in me, and through me, many are drawn into the Kingdom. Thank you for the unstoppable spread of the Gospel in the nations of the world, in Jesus' Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 1:29; Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily. Judges 6:14-16; 14 And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? 15 And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house. 16 And the Lord said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY, JULY 23RD 2025 THEME: DISCARD DREAMS LIKE CHAFF THEME SCRIPTURE: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14). The prophet Jeremiah, speaking under the inspiration of the Spirit, delivered a divine declaration in Jeremiah 23:28: "The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD." Here, Jeremiah draws a sharp distinction between dreams and the Word. He acknowledges that some prophets may claim to have dreams, but those who truly possess God's Word are obligated to deliver it faithfully and without alteration. Then, he says, "What is the chaff to the wheat?" Dreams are compared to God’s Word as chaff is to wheat. Chaff is the worthless husk separated from grain during threshing. And what do you do with chaff? You discard it. That’s what you need to do with dreams: discard them! While dreams were one way God communicated with His people in the Old Testament (e.g., Joseph in Genesis 37:5-10, Daniel in Daniel 7:1), from the moment the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost (Acts 2), the New Testament has no record of God using dreams as a means of revelation or guidance for His children. Those who continue to claim they are led by dreams are living an Old Testament life and ministry; they’re operating where God has already moved away from. Irrespective of your experiences, God’s way of ministering to His people in the Church age is by the Spirit, visions and the Word; not dreams. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the Holy Spirit who leads and guides me in all things. My steps are ordered by you, and my life is directed by your Word; therefore, I walk in truth, wisdom and the reality of your divine guidance, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Acts 9:10-12 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. 11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, 12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Acts 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Acts 28:1-16; Psalms 26-29 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 10:25-37; Joshua 20-21 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY, JULY 22ND 2025 THEME: ACT ON THE WORD TO EFFECT CHANGES THEME SCRIPTURE: ....Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea (Exodus 14:15-16). Some Christians experience a certain kind of frustration in their lives because they fail to act on the Word. They pray and try to “persuade” God to do what they are to do. For example, they want Him to change a situation He already gave us power and authority to change. Take for example the case of Moses and the children of Israel as they were trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh's advancing army. They cried out in fear. But Moses reassured them of God's salvation and began to cry out to God to do something. However, God urgently interrupted Moses with the words we read in our opening scripture above. God said to Moses, “You do something; stretch forth your hand and divide the sea.” In obedience, Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, spoke words, and the Red Sea parted. God's power was activated the moment Moses acted on His instruction and spoke in faith. Until Moses did something, the miracle didn’t happen. This teaches us that unless you take action to change your circumstances, they may remain unchanged. So, don’t seek to persuade God to act when you’re the one to exercise authority and take action according to His Word. God has already done His part by giving you His Word and the liberty to act on it. For example, He said in 1 Corinthians 2:12-13, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God, Which things also we speak...." Notice the principle: You have to speak the things that have been freely given to you by God. If you don’t say it, it’ll not work. Your faith-filled words, spoken in alignment with the Word, activate His power in your life. So, speak God’s Word over your life and see His power manifest in your behalf. The blessings and results are for those who act on the Word, the doers of the Word. James 1:22, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” CONFESSION I’m a doer of the Word, and my faith-filled words activate the power of God in my life. As I act on the Word, I experience victory, transformation, and the fullness of God’s blessings today. Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Luke 5:4-6 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL MONDAY, JULY 21ST 2025 THEME: LIVE VICTORIOUSLY EVERY DAY THEME SCRIPTURE: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4). Your life is your responsibility, and through the Word of God, you have the power to create the circumstances of your life. As a child, your parents were responsible for the situations surrounding your life. For instance, when Jesus was born, He was placed in a manger, not because He chose to be, but because that was where His parents put Him. On another occasion, the angel didn’t instruct Jesus but spoke to Joseph, saying, “...take the young child and his mother and flee into Egypt...” (Matthew 2:13). Jesus didn’t make that decision; He was just carried along as a baby. Even as He grew, He remained subject to Joseph and His mother Mary. However, when He came of age, He began making His own decisions, just like Moses who, when he came to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter (Hebrews 11:24). In the same way, you must come to the point where you decide and determine the circumstances of your life. Choose to live in victory no matter what. Decide you’re going to be a success at every level of your life and in everything you do because that’s the life you’ve been given in Christ. Don’t allow your environment dictate how you live. You’re not a victim of the economy or economics of this world; you’re the seed of Abraham, a victor always. 2 Corinthians 2:14 says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” We read in our opening verse, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world….” You’re born of God and have overcome the world. You’re victorious in Christ. Therefore, choose to live victoriously every day. Live above the systems of this world. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the power of your Word, and your Spirit that enables me to live victoriously every day above the systems of this world. I’m in charge and in control of my life and circumstances; I live by faith and create my own world of success and prosperity in line with your perfect will, in Jesus' Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or unclothedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 2 Corinthians 2:14 MSG - And I got it, thank God! In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. Through us, he brings knowledge of Christ. Everywhere we go, people breathe in the exquisite fragrance. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY, JULY 20TH 2025 THEME: SUBJECT YOUR BODY TO HIS DIVINE INFLUENCE THEME SCRIPTURE: But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you (Romans 8:11). One way to subject your body to the divine influence of the Holy Spirit is through praying in the Spirit. It improves your health or keeps you in divine health. That’s because through speaking in tongues you activate the latent power of the spirit. Recall what we read in our opening scripture; it says if the Holy Spirit takes up His abode in you, He will vitalize or make alive your previously death-doomed body. In other words, whereas your body was going in the direction of death prior to receiving the Holy Ghost, now that you’ve received the Holy Ghost, your journey is life unto life. Glory to God! Let’s read how the Lord Jesus demonstrated it. Luke 9:29 says, “And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.” I love this. His physical countenance was altered as He prayed. What was happening? The power of the Holy Ghost manifested in His physical body and impacted on His clothes to make them glitter. That’s the same experience He expects you to have when you pray: Currents of spiritual electricity coursing through your being! It’s the work of the Holy Spirit. How can you pray that way and experience sickness in your body? Every one of us who has received the Holy Spirit has this power within us. We have to become acquainted with this inner power, the inner force of the Spirit of God inside us. Acknowledge this work of the Spirit in your life; that's one of the keys. By acknowledging that work of the Spirit, you give yourself over to it. The more you do this, the less problems you’ll have with your physical body, because you're getting your body supercharged with the Holy Ghost. There’re things you may have observed in your body, maybe some pain, some abnormal situation, some growth or inflammation; the more you subject your body to the influence of the Holy Spirit through prayer, the more those things pass out of your body. The Holy Ghost sanctifies your body; He perambulates your body and makes manifest the life of Christ in your physical body. Think about that! This is God's will, plan, and purpose for you: The life of Christ manifest in your body—not only in your spirit and in your soul. That means no growth is allowed in your body; no inflammations, no abrasions, no rashes. Hallelujah! Put this to work and you’ll live perpetually in divine health. Blessed be God! CONFESSION The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me and has made my body alive. The life of Christ is manifest in every fiber of my being. My body is sanctified, energized and preserved by the power of the Holy Spirit. I live above sickness, disease and infirmities. Divine health is my permanent experience. Glory to God! FURTHER STUDY Romans 8:10-11 ESV But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY, JULY 19TH 2025 THEME: HIS NAME REIGNS SUPREME THEME SCRIPTURE: And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all (Acts 3:16). The authority of the Name of Jesus is unparalleled. If He were an ordinary man, His name would have no power. But there’s power in His Name. The book of Acts shows us how the disciples used His Name to cast out demons, heal the sick, and perform miracles. His Name is not just a title; it carries authority and power. In Acts 3, Luke tells us about the miraculous healing of a certain man who was crippled from birth and laid at the gate of the temple called Beautiful. The miracle attracted the attention of a large crowd, and Peter, seizing the moment, addressed the crowd, explaining the source of the healing to be the Name of Jesus. He said, “And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all” (Acts 3:16). He emphasized that it was through faith in the Name of Jesus that the man was made strong and restored to health. The authority and power in the Name of Jesus demonstrate His deity. His Name carries the fullness of His power, His life, and His authority. No wonder the Bible tells us, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” (Philippians 2:9-10). His Name reigns supreme over all things. Use it to cast out devils, heal the sick, and walk in perpetual victory. Live in the fullness of His power and authority today through the dominion and majesty of His Name. Amen. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the authority vested in the Name of Jesus. That wonderful Name reigns supreme over all things, and through faith in His Name, I cast out devils, heal the sick, and walk in perpetual victory. I live in the fullness of His power and authority today. Thank you Lord, for the power and majesty of the Name of Jesus. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Philippians 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Mark 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, JULY 18TH 2025 THEME: DIVINE HEALTH: YOUR HERITAGE IN CHRIST THEME SCRIPTURE: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 1:2). Too often, people find themselves trapped in a cycle of illness and health issues. One week they’re in the hospital, and the next, they're at the pharmacy, seeking medications for one ailment or the other. This shouldn’t be your experience as a child of God. Don’t allow such in your life. Refuse to allow Satan toy with your health. He's testing you. The moment Satan sees that you keep yielding to minor symptoms of sickness, he strikes with a heavier blow. But you have the power to put an end to this. Remember what Jesus said to Simon Peter: “...Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not...” (Luke 22:31-32). Notice that the Lord didn’t say He prayed that Satan wouldn’t test Peter, but rather, that Peter’s faith wouldn’t fail. Your faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Today, you can settle any health issue once and for all by saying, “Enough is enough! I refuse to live a life of sickness and weakness. I lay hold of divine health because I have eternal life. I enjoy divine health because that’s the life I have in Christ.” While as a result of ignorance you might have tolerated sickness in the past, it should no longer have a place in your life now that you know the truth. Some people mistakenly try to "sleep off" their ailments. But this is not the way. Don't ignore the pain or discomfort, hoping that only “some rest” will resolve it. No. Use your faith-filled words to kill it! Remember, your faith is the victory that overcomes the world and its debilitating influences, including sicknesses, diseases, pains and everything of darkness. And you’re to always vocalize your faith. Use words; your tongue is your tool for control; use it to rebuke the ailment. Use it to cut out any infirmity, growth or anomaly from your body. Speak health and life over yourself. Then, you can rest, assured that your words have established your victory. God has empowered you to control your circumstances with your declarations. Speak life, health, and victory always. CONFESSION Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of divine health, my inheritance in Christ Jesus. I’m healthy and strong, and I walk in the fullness of the divine life. Every fibre of my being is inundated with eternal life. Hallelujah! RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY, JULY 17TH 2025 THEME: THE TRUE GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE THEME SCRIPTURE: And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life (1 John 5:20). The Lord Jesus Christ is the true God and eternal life. That, indeed, is who the Messiah was supposed to be. Generations of prophets foretold His coming, and when Jesus came and declared Himself the Christ—God manifested in human form—many rejected Him, accusing Him of blasphemy. But He was right. Titus 2:13-14 NKJV refers to Him as our great God and Saviour who gave Himself for us: “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.” No religious leader matches these credentials but our Lord Jesus Christ. All the leaders of various religions died and remained dead. Only Jesus Christ resurrected and ascended to heaven alive. It’s only His Name that has power to cast out devils, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and raise the dead. Furthermore, the remission of sins is only possible through Jesus Christ. Acts 13:38-39 NKJV says, “Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.” 1 John 5:11-12 NKJV says, “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” Jesus is the only one to give His life for all humanity; He gave His divine life so you could have eternal life. Now, because you’ve received Him, your natural human life has been supplanted by the God-life; you’re now born of God: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (John 1:12-13). He gave us eternal life because He’s Himself eternal life. Jesus is the true God and eternal life. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the revelation of the deity of Jesus Christ and the power in His Name. I live in the consciousness of His authority, exercising dominion over the forces of darkness and manifesting the victory of Christ in all that I do. I declare that my faith is effective, and through His Name, I enjoy unending success and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 1 John 5:20 AMPC And we [have seen and] know [positively] that the Son of God has [actually] come to this world and has given us understanding and insight [progressively] to perceive (recognize) and come to know better and more clearly Him Who is true; and we are in Him Who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah). RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY, 16TH JULY 2025 THEME: THE REMARKABLE DEATH OF JESUS THEME SCRIPTURE: And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God (Mark 15:39). The death of Jesus was extraordinary and filled with supernatural events that also confirmed His deity. After being falsely accused, arrested, and crucified, Jesus hung on the Cross while the chief priests, scribes, and elders mocked Him (Matthew 27:42-43). Even the two thieves crucified alongside Him joined in the mockery (Matthew 27:44, Mark 15:32). Then, from the sixth hour (noon) to the ninth hour (3 p.m.), darkness covered the whole earth. This supernatural darkness lasted for three hours, signifying something beyond the natural realm. At about the ninth hour, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” which means, “...My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46). This was the moment when the sins of the whole world were laid upon Jesus. The Father, who is too holy to behold sin (Habakuk 1:13), turned His back, and Jesus, who had never been separated from the Father, cried out in anguish. This separation was the cup Jesus prayed about in the Garden of Gethsemane when He said, “...O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me…” (Matthew 26:39). It was not death He dreaded but separation from the Father, which was a result of Him becoming sin for humanity. The Bible says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). Then, with a loud voice, He said, “...Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit...” (Luke 23:46). Jesus commanded His own death. He consciously and deliberately handed over His spirit to the Father. Jesus had earlier declared, “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again…I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again...” (John 10:17-18). When Jesus yielded up the ghost, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, signifying the removal of the barrier between God and humanity, granting us access to the Father’s presence. Even the centurion overseeing the crucifixion, upon witnessing how Jesus died, declared, “...Truly this man was the Son of God” (Mark 15:39). The manner of His death testified of His divinity. Jesus’ death was no ordinary death. It was the ultimate sacrifice that brought salvation to all mankind. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the death of Jesus whose blood was the propitiation for sins. I rejoice in the finished work of Christ, knowing that He laid down His life for me and took it up again in victory. I live triumphantly, enjoying the benefits of His sacrificial love, now and always. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: John 10:17-18 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. Luke 23:46-49 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. 47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man. 48 And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned. 49 And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things. Matthew 27:50-54 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. 54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Acts 24:1-27 & Psalms 1-6 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 9:10-17 & Joshua 12 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY, JULY 15TH 2025 THEME: HIS EXTRAORDINARY LIFE THEME SCRIPTURE: And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen (John 21:25). The life of Jesus was an unending stream of the miraculous and the supernatural. It was an extraordinary life, marked by countless acts of divine power and compassion. The Bible provides us with a glimpse of this remarkable life. John 20:30-31, for example, tells us, “And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” The purpose of the recorded miracles is clear: to inspire faith in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God, and to bring life to those who believe in His Name. Yet, what we read in the Scriptures is only a fraction of what Jesus accomplished. John further explains, “Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written” (John 21:25 NIV). This statement conveys the limitless nature of His divine ministry. The Word of God does not exaggerate. The sheer magnitude of His miraculous works, signs and wonders was beyond human documentation. His presence on earth was characterized by countless miracles, healings, teachings and demonstrations of the divine power of God. The life of Jesus remains unparalleled, a testimony to His deity and the limitless expression of God's love and power through Him. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for revealing to me the extraordinary life of Jesus. His life on earth was a testimony of your divine nature and power. I acknowledge His deity and celebrate His works that continue to inspire faith and transform lives even today, for He’s indeed the same yesterday, today, and forever. I walk in the reality of His divine life, manifesting His glory and power today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Matthew 4:23-25 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. 24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them. 25 And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judæa, and from beyond Jordan. John 20:30-31 AMPC There are also many other signs and miracles which Jesus performed in the presence of the disciples which are not written in this book. 31 But these are written (recorded) in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ (the Anointed One), the Son of God, and that through believing and cleaving to and trusting and relying upon Him you may have life through (in) His name [through Who He is]. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN : Acts 23:12-35 & Job 40-42 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN : Luke 9:1-9 & Joshua 11 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL MONDAY, 14TH JULY 2025 THEME: THE VIRGIN BIRTH CONFIRMS HIS DEITY THEME SCRIPTURE: Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us (Matthew 1:23). When we say Jesus Christ is deity, we’re affirming that He is God. This claim is significant, especially when you consider that many around the world view Jesus merely as a prophet or a great teacher. While it may seem respectful for some to call Him a great prophet or a remarkable teacher, these assertions fall far short of His true identity. That’s the reason it’s important to understand who He really is by first examining the miracle of His birth. The Bible describes His birth as extraordinary, something that had never occurred in all of history. Matthew 1:18 says, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.” Mary’s conception was a miracle. Before she and Joseph were married or had come together, she was found to be pregnant by the Holy Ghost. Joseph, described as a just man and unaware that God was behind it all, intended to quietly end their engagement to avoid bringing disgrace upon her. But as he pondered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him and explained that the conception was not of man but of God (Matthew 1:20). The angel also instructed Joseph to name the child Jesus, stating, “...for he shall save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21). What makes this account even more remarkable is that it was a fulfilment of prophecy. The Bible says, “Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us” (Matthew 1:22-23). This prophecy was given long before Jesus was born, indicating that His birth was part of God’s divine plan. The name “Emmanuel” means “God with us,” clearly pointing to His divine nature. Jesus was not born through natural means. His birth, being purely divine, is evidence of His deity and also proves His divine origin. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for revealing the deity of Jesus Christ through the Scriptures. I acknowledge that Jesus is indeed God. I rejoice in the truth of His divine nature, and I celebrate His supernatural birth that brought salvation to the world. Thank you for making me a partaker of your divine life, in Jesus' Name. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY, 13TH JULY 2025 THEME: IT’S ALL IN YOU THEME SCRIPTURE: According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3). The Lord is wonderful. Think about all that He’s made us and given to us in Christ Jesus! Our opening scripture says He’s given us everything that pertains to life and godliness. That means everything you require to live triumphantly, in absolute dominion over circumstances, in health, prosperity and peace is all in you. This simply means that the quality of your life is not in the money you have, for all the money you’ll ever have is inside you. All the cars you’d ever drive, the clothes, houses, and everything you’d ever own and enjoy in this life is inside you. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:11, “He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart….” The NIV says, “...He has also set eternity in the human heart….” If eternity is in your heart, then everything you need is in your heart, waiting to be released through your faith and actions. The quality of your life is in your heart. This helps us understand the words of the Master in Luke 6:45, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” He shows us where good and evil things come from: your heart. He also shows us how they come—from your words. God, in Christ Jesus, has placed everything you need inside you. You’re like a seed, fully equipped with everything you need to become a fruit, a plantation, and a forest. But you must grow in the knowledge of God’s Word and speak accordingly: “Which things also we speak…” (1 Corinthians 2:13). That’s how you activate what God has deposited in your spirit. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of your Word. I recognize that everything I require for life and godliness is already inside me. Therefore, I function from this vantage position of knowledge and strength as I chart my course in prosperity, victories and divine health, manifesting your righteousness, excellence and glory in all that I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 2 Peter 1:3 NIV His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Acts 21:37-22:1-21 & Job 32-35 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 8:26-39 & Joshua 9 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY, JULY 12TH 2025 THEME: ACCEPT GOD’S WORD AS TRUTH THEME SCRIPTURE: Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). What a statement from the lips of the Master in our opening scripture above! Notice the profound but very simple instruction: “Only believe.” He says ALL things are possible to you if you believe. What does it take to believe? It simply means to accept that what the Lord has said is true. The Bible tells a beautiful story in Mark 5 that illustrates this. The Lord Jesus was approached by Jairus, a ruler of the synagogue whose daughter was gravely ill. Desperate for help, Jairus pleaded with the Lord to come and heal his daughter. On their way to Jairus’ house, messengers arrived to tell him his daughter had died. But then the Bible says, "As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe" (Mark 5:36). When they arrived at Jairus' house, they found mourners already gathered. But the Lord Jesus took the girl’s hand and said, "...Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise" (Mark 5:41). Immediately, the twelve-year-old stood up and began to walk around, and they were astonished. Accept the Word of God as truth and act accordingly. That’s faith. Faith is not something you struggle with; it’s simply acting on the Word. That suddenly opens you to limitless possibilities, where anything and everything is possible unto you. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for your Word which is true and dependable. I act on your Word with boldness and confidence, knowing that what you have said is true and unchanging. My faith is alive and effectual because I act on your Word. I journey from glory to glory, walking in the light of your Word, and fulfilling your purpose for my life victoriously, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, 11TH JULY 2025 THEME: YOUR DIVINE IDENTITY THEME SCRIPTURE: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23). In Luke 6:44, the Lord Jesus made this remarkable statement: “For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.” In other words, when you see a tree that produces oranges, you call it an orange tree, or mangoes, a mango tree, as the case may be. The tree is identified by the fruit it produces. Now, let’s apply this to our opening scripture that talks about the fruits of the recreated human spirit. The first fruit listed is love. That means you’re a love tree, because you produce love fruit; love is a fruit of your spirit. Another fruit of your recreated spirit is joy; you produce joy fruit, and what does that make you? It means your name is Joy. Then there’s peace; since you produce peace fruit, that means you’re Peace. Longsuffering means patience, so your name is Patience because patience is a fruit of your spirit. So, never say “I’m not a very patient person.” You’re patient. Gentleness is another fruit; so, your name is Gentleness. Also, goodness; your name is Goodness. Then there’s faith, meekness, and temperance. These are all fruits of your spirit; they describe who you are. Praise God! Furthermore, Ephesians 1:17 shows another beautiful description of your divine identity by referring to our heavenly Father as “…the Father of glory...." If your Father is the Father of Glory, then who are you? It means your name is Glory. You’re the glory of God. Blessed be God! CONFESSIONS I bear the fruits of righteousness, and I walk in the glory of God, manifesting love, joy, peace and all the virtues of the recreated human spirit. My life is an expression of God’s divine nature, and I walk in the consciousness of who I am in Christ, radiating divine excellence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Philippians 1:9-11 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; 11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. Matthew 7:16-20 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Acts 21:1-16 & Job 25-28 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 8:11-18 & Joshua 7 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY, 10TH JULY 2025 THEME: SEE FROM THE MOUNTAIN TOP THEME SCRIPTURE: If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth (Colossians 3:1-2). The Word of God gives us clear instructions as to how to live, the mindset we should have, and what our outlook on life should be. Take for example what we just read in our opening scripture. The Lord is telling you to focus on heavenly things and not on earthly things. Have a mountain-top view. It brings to mind something remarkable that the Lord told me many years ago; He said, “Son, see from the mountaintop.” The interesting thing is, I didn’t even realize I was on the mountaintop until He told me. You see, it's not something you feel physically or emotionally. I know that some Christians say they are “journeying” and trying to get to the mountaintop. But being born again, you’re on the mountaintop. You’re risen with Christ; seated together with Him, far above principalities and powers. Therefore, see from there. Live from there. It’s the best view. Hallelujah! From the mountaintop, you see things clearly. Your perspective is elevated. You’re above the distractions and limitations of the world. You see from a higher realm, the realm of the Spirit, where it's only victory, strength, health, prosperity and unending progress. Ponder again what we read in Colossians 3:2, “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Your thoughts, desires, focus and devotion should be directed towards heavenly realities, not earthly distractions. Align your mind with the heavenly perspective and live victoriously every day. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for raising me up with Christ to live and see from the mountaintop. My affection is set on heavenly things, and my vision is clear and focused; I live above the distractions and limitations of this world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY, 9TH JULY 2025 THEME: PRESENTING JESUS CHRIST ALIVE THEME SCRIPTURE: Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8 ). When I began holding crusades many years ago, my focus was to present Jesus Christ alive to the people. Hence the posters or handbills would read, “Presenting Jesus Christ Alive” in so and so village, town, or city, naming wherever it was. I presented Him alive because, as far as I was concerned, Jesus Christ was the same as He was in Bible days, and alive. Even today, all over the world, in our books, our messages and teachings, the purpose is the same: to present Jesus Christ alive, proving His unchanging nature and power. In those early years, we held camp meetings annually. In one of those years, the theme of the camp meeting was “Beyond The Written Pages.” Yes, the Lord Jesus in His power, glory, dominion and grace lives beyond the written pages. He’s alive today, blessing and transforming lives as He did in Bible days. Christianity transcends mere words on paper. It’s about presenting Jesus Christ alive to the nations and peoples of the world beyond history and prophecy. We must take this message beyond our immediate borders, to reach the farthest regions, to the ends of the earth. This has to be your mindset now more than ever. The real Church can’t be stagnant or static; the real Church must be dynamic. It must continually reach beyond borders, presenting Jesus Christ alive, relevant and as Lord in a postmodern world. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the consistency of your vision and the revelation of Jesus Christ alive today. I’m taking the message beyond borders, presenting the living Christ to my world and beyond. The Church is marching forward, expanding and spreading the message of your love, power and grace through the nooks and crannies of the earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY, JULY 8TH 2025 THEME: THE CONSISTENCY OF JESUS CHRIST THEME SCRIPTURE: Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith, follow, considering the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:7-8 ). What we read in our opening scripture above is quite profound. There’s a connection between verses 7 and 8 that many Bible translators didn’t grasp. This is due primarily to the lack of punctuation in the original Greek text. The connection is straightforward when you study the passage in context. Both verses actually emphasize the consistency of the Lord Jesus Christ. The 8th verse, which says “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever,” is not independent of the preceding verse 7. What the Spirit is emphasizing in those verses is that the leaders who brought us God's Word had a way of life that demonstrated and bore testimony to the power and consistency of the Lord Jesus Christ; He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. In other words, their faith produced results that reflected the unchanging nature of the Lord Jesus—His faithfulness, trustworthiness and glory— proving Him to be consistent. What He did back then, He’s able to do, and still does today. Therefore, the instruction is clear: follow the faith of those who delivered God’s Word to you, considering the outcome of their lives, which is the revelation of Jesus Christ’s consistency and unchanging nature. No wonder James 1:17 describes Him as the Father of lights, with whom there’s no variableness, neither shadow of turning; no shadow of inconsistency with Him. He said through the prophet in Malachi 3:6, “For I am the LORD, I change not….” Today, it makes no difference where you are in your life or what you need; Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Trust Him with your life. Those who came ahead of us testified of His faithfulness and the infallibility and immutability of His Word. We have the same testimony; He never fails. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the consistency of your Word and the faithfulness of the Lord Jesus Christ who’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. My life is a revelation of the unchanging nature of Christ, His glory, power and love, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
