Spanish club, Valencia have confirmed that 35% of their squad and backroom staff have tested positive for the coronavirus but that all cases are currently asymptomatic.
The La Liga club had already reported five cases of coronavirus on Sunday, with Argentina's Ezequiel Garay and France's Eliaquim Mangala among those who had contracted the virus.

Addressing the coronavirus outbreak at the club, the La Liga side said in a statement: "Several further tests for the COVID-19 coronavirus amongst Valencia coaching staff and players have come back positive,"

"Despite the strict measures adopted by the club after their Champions League game ... these latest results show the exposure inherent to such matches has caused a positive test rate of around 35%," Valencia added.

"All cases are asymptomatic and those involved are currently isolated at home, receiving medical assessment and carrying out their scheduled training plan."

Globally, the coronavirus has infected almost 180,000 people and killed over 7,000.

A N200m library which belongs to former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has been evacuated from the palace, days after he was dethroned by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

The dethroned Emir’s principal private secretary, Mujtaba Abba who confirmed that over 40,000 books and journals catalogued at the expansive library have been evacuated in an interview with Daily Nigerian, said they were taken to a safe location within the state.

Mr Abba, who recently resigned as Falakin Kano said; “High Highness’ greatest concern was the fate of his books, so my sister and I stayed behind to ensure that we evacuated all the books.

It took us sleepless nights to accomplish the task in two days. “I made most of the transactions for the purchase of the books, and I can tell you, in conservative estimate, they’re worth over N200m."

Abba further revealed that Sanusi took only one horse out of his equestrian treasure and left the remaining to his successor.

He added; “Among his over 40 beautiful horses and over 100 choice saddles, he picked one each and left the remaining to his successor.”

A 27 year old mother, Krystle Villanueva has been jailed for life for beheading her five year-old daughter after the youngster asked for cereal.

Krystle Villanueva on Friday was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to life imprisonment for the January 2017 killing of 5 year old Giovanna Hernandez in Austin, Texas while she was under the influence of alcohol and weed.

After Villanueva stabbed the little girl to death and decapitated her, she dialed 911 and told the police she’d killed her daughter ‘because she asked for cereal.’ and this attack was after she stabbed her father-in-law in an unprovoked attack, though he managed to escape .

A SWAT team rushed to Villanueva’s home to rescue Giovanna, only to find the mother naked and freshly showered in her front room.

Villanueva who was under the influence of weed and booze at the time of the killings claimed to the police upon arrest that ‘she had been under the delusional belief that her daughter and her father-in-law had.....

DUBAI (Reuters) - Iranian merchants plying the busy Strait of Hormuz between Dubai and Iran fear their next trip home will be a one-way trip after the United Arab Emirates banned ferry services to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

"Business is finished," said Iranian trader Morad as he stacked goods on a small wooden dhow this week destined for the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas some 230 km (140 miles) away.

Iran, which has emerged as an epicentre for the disease that originated in China, is already grappling with economic hardship as U.S.

sanctions curb oil and gas exports crucial for government revenues. Now its non-oil trade, which the International Monetary Fund had estimated would be about $40 billion in 2020 - or nearly 10% of its economy - is under threat just weeks after mass protests against the government over economic hardships were crushed.

Several countries in the region have suspended flights to Iran and neighbouring Iraq has closed its land border, worsening the Islamic Republic's economic isolation since Washington reimposed sanctions in 2018. Indefinite restrictions on trade and tourism, particularly with Iran's main trading partners China and Iraq, could lead to a deeper economic contraction.

"Exporters in general will be impacted, big ones that are exposed to China, which may slow down for some time, and smaller ones that are exposed to the borders shutdown," said Maciej Wojtal, fund manager at Amtelon Capital, an asset management firm which invests in Iranian stocks.

The dhows that line Dubai Creek are piled precariously high with fridges, televisions, rice and sugar destined for Iran - and usually return laden with goods such as spices and plastics.


'WHO'S GOING TO BUY IT?'

The IMF, which estimates the Iranian economy shrank 9.5% last year, had expected it to stabilise this year - before the coronavirus crisis escalated.

The number of virus deaths in Iran hit 107 on March 5, putting it on a par with Italy as the country with the highest death toll outside China. President Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday the virus had affected almost all of Iran's provinces.

Garbis Iradian, chief economist for Middle East and North Africa at the Institute of International Finance (IIF), told Reuters he had cut his forecast for Iran's gross domestic product because of the outbreak.

Iradian had been expecting the Iranian economy to contract 2% in 2020 but he's now forecasting it will shrink 3.1%.

"Let's say, hypothetically, I managed to import furniture, who is going to buy it inside Iran?," said Farhad, a 53-year-old businessman from Tehran who buys furniture from China. "All shops are closed. All sectors face the same problem."

Iran's rial currency plunged last week, which could accelerate inflation running at nearly 40% last year.

Iradian said continued curbs on trade and tourism could see the inflation rate spike above 50% and unemployment rise over 20% of the labour force. The unemployment rate for Iranians aged 18-35 is 17.9%, according to official figures published by the Statistical Center of Iran in December.

Sustained cuts to exports may push the government to slash spending – a move analysts think could lead to further social unrest, following protests last year over fuel price rises.

The demonstrations, which called for the overthrow of the government and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, were met with a crackdown that killed hundreds and put thousands in jail.

Many Iranians, already angry about economic hardship and concerned about the fallout from Tehran's nuclear standoff with Washington, say they are worried the country's clerical rulers have not got a firm grip on the coronavirus illness.

Some critics accused the authorities of initially concealing the outbreak to secure a high participation in state-organised rallies. Others suggested it was to ensure a high turnout in Feb. 21 parliamentary polls. A government spokesman rejected the accusations, saying the outbreak should not be politicised.



'COMPLETE LOCKDOWN?'

The United Arab Emirates, traditionally a major re-export hub for Iran, has imposed health screening measures for commercial vessels, as well as banning ferry traffic with Iran.

Kuwait has also closed its Doha Port, mainly used for barges and small ships, to avoid interaction with crews from Iran.

Iranian businesses small and large across the country are starting to struggle as the disease spreads.

"I told my workers not to come to work as I was worried they might get infected," said Abouzar, who owns a textile factory in the holy city of Qom, where the virus first struck in Iran.

"If the situation continues, I'll have to close the factory. I will go bankrupt because I have to pay back my loans. How? I don't know," he said.

The head of hotels and hotel apartments association was quoted by Iranian media as saying that 98% of hotels.......

He rough handled me on my first visit to his house, claims to want a serious relationship. Can he really be serious about being serious or he is just a play boy?

So I met this guy about two weeks ago close to my street. He calls but I hardly pick. Eventually, I picked and he asked if we could pick me after work and we hangout. I accepted. He picked me up after work last week Friday. He was quite interesting and funny, he talked freely like he had known me for years but he was really so touchy, I had barely spent 5 minutes in the car and he was already touching my shoulder and even when we were inside the bar, he tried tickling me, at a point, he put his hands close to my waist, I removed it. We both discussed if we had someone we are currenly seeing, I am not seeing anyone which is the truth, he said there is an Ex but they just have sex and she has her own relationship. When he was dropping me off, he asked for a close hug, I hugged him and he wanted to pull me closer and kiss. I broke free and got down. He said I am not nice.

Well, we met again on Monday, I took just water intentionally. This time I minded the distance between us. He wanted to see again on tuesday, I declined. Then at work yesterday, he asked to see after closing. I told him he can come briefly to my work and we can talk a bit in the car and part ways . He said he would like to host me at his house instead, I declined.

Anyway, he came, I got in and he started driving and saying, I will know his house today and besides his phone battery his low. My mood changed immediately and he tried to guilt trip me and said okay should we stop on the road and get a place to charge his phone. I then told him to continue driving to his house. He stopped on the way and got snacks. We got into his house. It was nice and neat.

Then we were watching a movie, he sat down and placed my leg on his, I was cool with this. Then he made moves to kiss and I declined and pulled away. All of a sudden, he started breathing fast, hugged me so tight and kissed me despite I kept pulling away and didnt kiss back. I am weak when it comes to my Bosom, then he got there and gave me the roughest and painful squeezing I have ever experienced. I haven't been with any man in about 7 months now, I am single and It's hard for me to do a little thing as even kissing randomly. So he got me there when he got to my bosom but it took only just few seconds to snap out. He continued panting and begging for me to reciprocate, he is so hard and hasn't felt this way in a while.

I told him I dont want this, he went in frustrated, stamping his feet, I tot he had agreed, only for him to come back naked and saying okay, he has heard no sex and "I dont want to force you", so he asked for a dry hump and wanted me to turn my back. I didn't. He still kept breathing hard, like he wont survive the next minute. Then he started begging for a Mouth Action. I declined and told him I wasn't up for that. I tried pulling ,away and getting angry. He became even more aggressive, removed the hands I used to protect my chest and forced his way into my bra. It was a struggle and then back to begging till I made it clear in a thunder voice for him to stop and take me home.

Then he agreed, wore his cloths and kept complaining that I don't know what I have caused and he wont be himself. We left his house and he tried stopping at a Pharmacist and said he needs to get ibuprofen, then he didnt stop again and just continued driving.

This morning, he is apologizing and repeating the things he said when we got to his house that he wants something serious with me and he wants us to start something and want it to work out. He asked to come see me at work today but I declined. With this red flags, is there a possibility that he is truly serious like he said? Or he is just doing the usual lies to get the cookie and go away. He has a nice ride and nice house, I suspect he may have girls around him. My concern isnt all these, I just want to be with a serious man who is in for commitment and not just sex.
