This is what keeps the economy of a nation active. Most Nigerian believe too much in savings, while savings is good but too much of it is bad and can ruin a nation's economy. The only bad side is that most of the items they spend money on are imported. |
That's politics for you. You have to keep talking loud to be relevant. |
Imagine someone that did not even win election. They are all the same |
jullary:Ask yourself if diesel has ever come down below 600 naira since it was deregulated |
I do not believe in the judicial system. Once a case goes to court it becomes a game of winning and losing. It will all now depend on how each party can do away with the evidence. Even if someone commits a murder, the fact that such a person can clean up the evidence the judge will declare the person innocent. That is why political parties do whatever they like during elections |
donphilopus:The matter too dey pepper una for body. The whole world knows that Tinubu stole the mandate. So be calming down na only small time he get for there... |
He is waiting for another contract |
Who be this?
|
The man self don tire for real |
EmeeNaka:Fantastic question... Most of those top countries are indebted to their own countries |
Fruitless effort. |
By this time next year, these men will be completely irrelevant in terms of political power |
Nothing like neutrality. Either killed them or get them into custody if not, they can always get weapons the same way they got these... |
Here are some reasonable reasons why the world cup isn't a distraction. (1) It's a global sport event (2) it doesn't promote immorality, gossip and hatred (3) it's a way to relax and unwind it's not a show that runs for 24hrs . We don't watch players while they sleep and snore (4) Everyone can watch it it's not rated 18+. And it gives a sense of belonging if your country or continent is ably represented (5) sport is fun
You are right with your points but I still believe the people that called bbaniaja a distraction were just being hypocritical |
MandelaLives:We should add value to our own either private or national. |
3verblazing:Exactly my thoughts |
I can recollect all that happened during the bbnaija reality show, how people referred to it as a distraction to the 2023 general elections. And I wondered why those sets of people have not come out to condemn the attention given to this current world cup and more so, for the fact that Nigeria is not even participating in the world cup. Looking at it holistically if we were to compare and contrast this current world cup and bbnaiaja which one is more economically valuable to Nigerians? |
Political debate is just entertainment. The aim is just to attract traffic to whatever media platform is been aired |
Is so unfortunate that things like this is what is been counted as an achievement in this administration |
In a few months, this man will become irrelevant politically if he doesn't tread carefully. |
Gondonu:I tire of them oo.. A lot of politicking is going on in the UK currently and I have never seen anyone of their politicians travelling to another country to resolve any issue. The purpose of these last minutes of travelling is just to keep away their stolen money |
As bad as this man's government was so has the temerity to come out and speak as if his government was an eldorado. This man is responsible for whatever we going through today. I see him as far worst than Buhari |
But to be honest, if you live abroad and leave your wife in naija trust me she will cheat just the same way you are cheating wherever you are based. If she is not doing it with your friend she is doing it with others. And at this point, haven't tested cheating, she might become worst if travelled abroad. |
Richy4:One of them |
The reason is sweet in Africa is because the so-called rich take advantage of the bad economical situation of the country and turn fellow humans into slaves in their homes. And that's why when some naijans in the diaspora make some money they will start to see naija as the place to live. Many of them travel to naija just to do the big man thing |
Lol |
People like this believe they have a very high moral standard whereas the opposite is the reality. Just because election is coming up next year so all activities not relating to politics should be shut down. Football season will start soon, hope you will close down the viewing centres to avoid distractions too. BBnaija has more impact on people's lives than your so-called politics and I doubt if you will even go out to vote on Election Day. Please whoever wants to watch and support the show should go ahead with their full chest. |
These people play tinubu and he fell for it. In the end, they will mobilise themselves to vote for Atiku and that's the main reason was advised otherwise. They want the power to remain in the north |
If Abacha was alive this is how he would have been worshipped by politicians |
Abacha is probably the best leader or head of state we ever had as a nation, Please let him rest in peace. If he was still alive he would have been a big godfather you all will be worshipping like Babangida and the rest. Since Abacha is dead we should focus on the ones that are still alive and tell them to return their loot |
We should forget about Muslim Muslim tickets and focus on competence. Politicians always try to divide us along religious lines. That said, please vote for Peter Obi not because he is a Christian but for his competence and youthfulness. If Tinubu was as active as Trump in his old age I would have advised we go for him. As it stands now only Peter among all other candidates seems to be ready for the job |
Election debates are just for entertainment purposes. Nothing is comparing the characters involved to doing whatever they say or promise. Democracy itself is entertainment in its entirety |
