I still remember this disaster. I was in the University then. It was a news the world watched in horror. It is understandable that air disasters are always catastrophic and fatal.

What a terrible end for the doomed passengers watching themselves helplessly to their own deaths because of pilots errors. Worst is the pilot should have listened to his first Officer and abort the takeoff.

A Concorde that never had any fatality over 20 years of its beautiful existence suddenly had one! And that kill the future prospect & advancement of aviation science in that line. What a sad end for the Concorde.

Abeg let the indomie generation here learn history and the future pilots to be learn a thing or two so that lives will be preserved.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6yABdjYzLk?si=IFaOmBHfwg5s_AZY
I can still remember, and that was the last of the Concorde, the major reason why it was discontinued.

Such a beauty, not your normal type of Boeing, a blend mixed with supersonic plus comfort, i still wonder why engineer's are yet to try something better and different

France has some 1,500 troops stationed in Niger to aid in fighting jihadist groups that have plagued the country along with the wider Sahel region for years.
The truth is gradually coming out.

Family › Re: Why Do Most Nigerian Women Think This is The Only Way To Express Love by skywalker240(m): 4:13pm On Aug 24, 2023
theInfinity:
I have come to realise that many Nigerian women think that the only way for a person to prove their love is by giving them and they stylishly tag it being "caring".

Even a criminal can spend on you when dating you and deal with you when he finally marries you.

Funny, most men may not be able to give because they are struggling but that doesn't mean they don't care.

Why has friendship with many Nigerian women become transactional.

A sugar daddy can still give a lady but the truth remains that he will go back to his back at home and will never divorce her to marry you.

Please beautiful Nigerian women, let's stop making a relationship a business transaction.
You just spoiled your write-up with that rubbish statement @ bold

You be confirmed mumu. You never heard of supplementary budget? You talk of governance as if it is rocket science.
PMB paid petrol subsidy for his 8 year tenure, he didn't announce petrol subsidy removal.
Petrol subsidy provided for by Buhari was to end in June but this useless Tinubu couldn't even wait till June ending before he announced something that was not even in his presidential acceptance message. As a result of that, he threw Nigerians and our economy into panic and free fall. Marketers made huge and undeserved profits for a whole month!

Bro Ipman is not our problems now but Tinubu. Nothing is new to us in this country again, corruption has been there right from the foundation of this country and it has always been fighting the country from time.

There was a reason that previous governments couldn't remove subsidies, since Tinubu think he has the balls to do it, he should have made plan on how to manage it after removing it, especially the nnpc and Ipman bodies.

Sincerely speaking bro, Tinubu don't know what he is doing.

RenaissanceGuy:
The guy's comment was well in order. Must our population size be equal to Qatar before we can use them as examples?? Is China not 1.6 billion people?? If the Qatari leaders are mismanaging their petrodollars, they would have also been as poor like Niger that's rich in uranium, but don't know to build wealth from it.
Why couldn't Nigeria use the revenue from crude oil to create prosperity through other areas such as auto manufacturing, ship building, electronics production, etc - all through the private sector, like it happened in developed countries?? Wow, and I was thinking I was reasoning with a sane human being. So no matter how cool somebody comments on a post on this Nairaland, some people have already made up their mind to reply with insults and name-calling?? May God heal you.
Many of these ebolans are Dead senseless, what do you expect from people who gladly went to thumbprint for a druggie

Don't even ever make an attempt to reason with anyone of them

We have no reason to endure any hardship or difficult time. Stop typing Balderdash to be hoping and praying. Hoping and praying does not fix anything.

The refineries we keep talking about, are they not paying Salaries every month? The Crude Oil that used to go to all the refineries where do they now go to? Have the supply been shut off? Who is the Maintenance Manager of the refineries...why has the Maintenance manager or maintenance department not been replaced for many years to get a functional maintenance team in place to get results.

Hoping and praying is not a Solution.
I wonder how some people are bold enough to defend dumb decisions

Worst of all he had to end his senseless post with "THE WHOLE WORLD FACING ECONOMIC MELTDOWN" very annoying if you ask me
