they have gotten better without T-Mac to ball hog and stall the offense. Ron Artest is a player when his aggression is towards the other team and his own team/himself.

It's obviously dwayne wade has bribed referees. He and Kobe tend to get some mind boggling calls
.
Haba Y now, although i watch his game against Detroit last night when he blocked the last shot.Cant really say for eal cuz i though it was a foul but i noticed that most star players tend to get away with some fouls.Mayb that how NBA is

T.mac is my man.so sad he get injuries everyyear. With ron artest with them.i pray they deal with the west and shows them how its going down but this time.i pray them make it pass the first round

So Happy Houston dealt with Spurs thought i dont know how efficient these guys would be in playoff. They have not won any playoff game since yao and t-mac but ron artest is really a driving force in that team.He really hustles offensively and defensively.

Playoff April 19.Cant wait

To even slightly consider that the story may be true is reflective of ignorance.

It is obvious people do not know what the internet is about. One clown can stay in a small room and get somethings posted on the net just to see people's reactions.

I am aware of people that are that insane and there is no way I am not going to apply a little intelligence.

Take it from me.

Read victado64 comment and mayb u understand how powerful rumour is

victado64:
Here is something that I got after reading up on Intercontinental bank on yahoo finance.

This is from Daily Triumph newspaper
  Intercontinental Bank healthy, says CBN
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Monday in Abuja gave a clean bill of health to Intercontinental Bank Plc on its financial condition to dispel speculations that the bank was going under.
Customers of the bank had thronged its branches in Abuja to make withdrawals following rumour that the bank was having a financial challenge.
The statement signed by the CBN governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, said the rumour was ``baseless’’.
``Intercontinental Bank Plc remains healthy and has been meeting her obligations to her customers.
``The bank has been participating actively at the foreign exchange Retail Dutch Auction (RDAS) where it bids regularly on behalf of her customers who require foreign exchange for their transactions.
``The CBN has not received any adverse report from her correspondent and/or other foreign banks of any default or unprofessional conducts,'' Soludo said.
According to the governor, the CBN has been providing short-term liquidity support to all the Nigerian banks in line with CBN’s role as lender of last resort.
He said the facilities were available for all the banks, including Intercontinental Bank Plc, should they require them.
``The general public is hereby advised to ignore any negative rumours or false information on Intercontinental Bank Plc or any other Nigerian bank as the information is false.
``They should continue to transact their legitimate business, including deposit placement with Intercontinental Bank Plc and other Nigerian banks,'' the Central Bank governor said.
Soludo said all the banks in the country were still strong enough to manage the shocks and challenges occasioned by the global economic crises.
``The CBN also stands ready to provide liquidity support to any bank that may require it during this period and beyond,'' he added.

So let the poster note that it serves him no purpose to go about tarnishing the image of the bank and that of Nigeria as usual. Please stop washing your dirty laundry in public  angry

I will not blame the poster cos she might just want some form of attention so thats fine. No bank can feel threatened by a single bog or blogger as far as to send threats!!

A bank sending threats documented to a blogger and using exclamation markshuh? My goodness guys please use ur brains. we did not go to school just for the Bleep of it!  angry

anyhow, am of the opinion that if an embattled staff complains, he speaks for both himself and incontinental. the bank is responsible for whatever he does in the name of the bank. the fact that most banks you see around will collapse is not a rumor. my advice to wise ones is to withdraw some of their saving and invest in landed properties, i guess this applies to all banks.
a word is enough for the wise.

Yeah you are right, I shouldn't have used words like that! My apologies.I didn't mean it as an insult.

Yes, that's what I mean. The employee (probably a junior staff) wasn't authorized by the bank (management), to send that email. He probably did it in his own capacity!
To put things in proper perspective, take a cue from this example.
Most universities abroad  issue email addresses to all all their students. . . . .E.g  james.deen@harvard.edu. Now if James Deen chooses to send a 419 email with his email address, does that make Harvard University liable for his offense??

I hope u get my point now!
Yea i get u but i feel using company's email account to send it is uncalled for.I dont know about company's laws but i dont think staff are allowed to use thier organizations email account like that. schools are different here. They have the right to do whatever they want with their account. Not with a bank

But what we saying here.we not even sure if the poster is actually telling the truth.

We might not have that specific law in Nigeria, but we do have laws against libelous writing. And that would suffice, as the blogger's article is obviously a write-up aimed at tarnishing the image of an entity! That is libel!

As regards the letter from the intercontinental bank staff, it is a no case! The blogger cannot put the responsibility on intercontinental bank.
All unauthorized  mails sent by employees with personal company email always come with a disclaimer.

Here is an example of such disclaimer from zenith bank:

If you have received it in error, please delete the message and notify the sender immediately. The bank should sue the blogger for libelous writing! He would be sentenced to jail!
Any advanced country knows the implications of this kind of criminal act by the blogger!

Read what happened in South Korea on a fairly similar case:
http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/092a99ca-ddab-11dd-87dc-000077b07658.html

I have a simple question? Intercontinental bank is a private company directly employing over 4000 nigerians. It is not a government agency.
Why would anyone in his right mind wish for the bank or any other private company to collapse?. I do not understand this pull down mentality amongst Nigerians. It is sickening!Very disgusting!
If a man is successful, every poor man will be praying for his downfall! I really don't get this Nigerian mentality!
Read the story about south Korea

I was able to pick one line there
"Korea’s communications law, which bans the spreading of false information online, he could face seven years in jail".

Do we have that Law also in Nigeria?

So sending death threats is a way to stop the rumors abi?

dat was just a concerned staff's reaction
, which does not necessarily represent the organisation's opinion. Lets not act as if we cannot discern the truth from falsehood.
There are more selfish intents to all this. its just obvious forget your CIB. the question is what do u want to achieve with it?
with Ur qualification, I expect you to be the one to educate the forum on how to identify a sick or failing bank. I mean more informed opinions and not all d one lines we get with no valid or informed points in dem. Please lets face it. this forum should not be an avenue to pass insults or selfish motives, rather people should be able to be well informed when dey participate in discussions here.
thank u.
Using the bank's e-mail account to send threats. If this Letter from intercontinental bank is actually true,Then the person must obviously be a fool Using the banks account to send emails. Its shows how jobless the person was @ work and if this is actually true,he is tarnishing the bank's image.Hope you know the repercussion of using company email account sending such message(threat message). intercontinental management need to find the fool who sent this message cuz he has just broken the rules of the company if they want to keep their reputation .Haba, using it to send threat message(that is just too much).
Cuz this blogger can make this a vey big case and the banks reputation would be @ stake.
The stupid staff is just a f--king employee. He should leave it to its board of director to solve this(which i am sure they would never send dead threats)

Very stupid Staff Rumor or no Rumor,They have no right to threaten anybody. The bad part that still baffled me is the use of the company e.mail account to send that kind of message

pls no one should feel sorry for any bank. let them all fail

U seem not to get it! If a bank is sick, its left for the regulatory body to act. But how do u explain when a bank is killed by rumour mongers. If u understand how d business of banking is been run, u will know dat it is not possible for any bank (anywhere in d world) to pay back all its depositors if dey wish to withdraw at the same time. Dis is what happens when rumour mongers take on a bank. Depositors request for their money almost at the same time. Tis run on d bank will only succeed in killing d bank. So choose ur calling in life!

But MI is successful a and he did it without using local flavour (like you said) that made most artist popular. He should be respected for that

I dont think its compulsory to put local flavour into your music. He might not be the type of guy who flows well in it. At least he is doing well in his present style now which is the major thing and a lot of people are loving him.

i feel we should just accept good music.Thats all.regardless of which accent any1 uses. This guy made a very good album cuz he is the second nigerian artist(2face first) that i would enjoy his whole album.I mean everything.I hardly buy Nigerian artist album cuz i might like mayb 1 or 2 of his songs but this guy look @ the entertainment industry and filled up what was missing and he delivered well.
Fine, he speaks with an accent.I have not met him before.I have only seen him on TV and from what i have seen.Thats how he speaks(except he fakes it well). Besides Mod 9 too sound like a foreign artist. he puts in some of our languages but he sounds foreign too.
Ruggedman is cool.he speaks the pidgin and flows well too.i respect him but i cant turn my back on good music when i hear 1 which is MI right now.
A lot of artist found foreign,Nateo c (u know my p).I love that song.first time i heard it,i tot it was like a dipset crew that did that.Ikechucke had a very good freestyle on harlem baby.
