surecan: if someone that is leaving in abroad want to come back to Nigeria to apply for visa,how can he go about the statement of account,when he doesnt have account in Nigeria rather his country of residence

So long as u are legally resident in the country, it will do you a lot of good applying from there, instead of stressing urself with the naija waiting time!!!

No, thats the balance after removing my international student partial tuition award, actually about 15000. Its a masters program.

Here is an encouragement to all awaiting TRV/medicals, just trust in God n victory will be urs.I even had doubts of being called for medicals. Submitted 30th apr. called for meds 22nd may, visa 29th june. Here are my documents.
-All necessary application forms.
-10 months Sponsors statement of account (starting 1M, ending 4M, 1.2M deposited 1wk to printout),sponsor is mum- senior federal civil servant.
sponsors latest promotion letter, sponsors employers letter, sponsors payslips 226k/mth, pension plan with 1.5M, 3yr tax clearance, affidavit and letter of sponsorship,CSCS cert with shares worth 500k
-10 mth personal stat. of acc. (starting 800k, ending 1.2M), employment letter ,payslips 110k/month.
academic documents. Letter of intent.Previous passport with previous travel to US (2008) and Freetown (2004)with reason and evidence of each travel. Certificates of previous academic awards.
Called for medicals and asked to pay total tuition of 11,800. bank and uni only allowed me pay 6035. Embassy surprisingly called me after submission and asked me to pay the balance of tuition. had some problems with paying and had still not paid until TRV was issued on 29th June.
I thank God because I never really tot these documents were enough to get me a TRV, but I tried all the same and sought the help of our Maker (though I didn't fast sha..lol). He will also put U thru, just have Faith, it moves mountains, n CDHC is not even a mountain. Cheers......

Don't worry your miracle is on the way, dey can't hold unto it for too long........TRVs n medicals will soon start flooding d house by GOD's grace!!!

@all, I was denied visa today.................NOOOOO WAYYYY!!!.......this house deserves some good news, am still dancing alanta and azonto as I type......GOD has been so good........got my TTTRRRVVV today.......HE will complete what HE has started in our lives, despite all the bumps with fee payment...........stay tuned for documents as usual

me entire application is already at Vac, n has been processed, making any fee payment now makes no sense at all.........well I am a Nigerian n I will always hope for the best until the worst happens..........as usual

I did same n returned my passport to CDHC after explaining myself to vac officials n adding a note n univ email communications for cdhc. However Cdhc surprisingly called me 2 days later and asked me to find a way around it but make sure I paid. I returned to d bank who refused to do d transaction. I den decided to use another bank. I den sent cdhc a mail yesterday saying I have made d payment on 29th June (just in anticipation) today my portal update changed I hope its a positive one. Did meds on 6/6/12

@ all, so seriously scared now, d status on my portal today changed to ''application has been processed on 3/7/12''. I had some problems with paying tuition requested of me by CDHC. Dey requested I paid full tuition of about 12k. However d sch assessed fees of 6k n zenithbank refused me from paying more than that as it contravenes d money laundering act n bla bla bla. Contacting d univ for a complete fee schedule but dey declined and advised me to pay only assessed fees

@all, a very funny question indeed, can one be able to draw from his ''school account'' when he arrives or will they only give u refunds when the program is complete. CDHc made me pay more than I may actually need to pay to the university in tuition n fees dat I am seriously running dry now.....just want to know. God bless us all as we wait for our INEVITABLE TRVs.......

@slamdunk99 I see no reason why an online receipt from the school can't be gotten before the deadline. For instance I got my online receipt a few hrs after payment and the original 2wks later. You should contact the school and tell them abt your deadline if they don't get the receipt across to you by monday

I used Zenith bank and they told me it takes 4-5 working days to complete d transaction which is already 21st, the sch den said it takes 2-3 working days to generate receipt b4 dey can even scan it n send to my box on request, so u see my plight........

@all, am really having some problems and in a tyt corner, my school declined giving me their account details until the official registration date 13th june. I paid the tuition today after registering yesterday nyt......now CDHC deadline for me is 30 days from 22nd May and my school may not be able to process a receipt, not even an online copy b4 then. I have since done my medicals on 6th june. Don't know if I shud send a mail to CDHC that I cannot make d deadline, or what other options do I have.......pls gurus in d house I need your urgent answers.........

Your attention is needed at VAC at the earliest.
Pls what do these messages mean especially the portal message. I submitted on 30th April at VAC n it was submitted to CDHC on 2nd may. I hope this is not a denial as it is coming too soon..........guys fear dey catch me oooooo!!!

Hello House......nice work you are all doing here..........followed dis thread for some time and it successfully helped me apply n get admission for masters at UBC start date sept 4. My main prob is my sponsor (mum) as she has only about 20000usd in her account while mine has about 9000usd. My tuition per annum is 7500usd. Apart from dis every oda tin looks good. Don't know how safe it is to go ahead with it and if it will be late if I apply in 1st wk of May. Pls house wat do u think?

Pls House I have some questions ooo. My application was returned because my passport photograph did not meet up with their specs. (Really my crown to chin lenght was 38mm, just 2mm over. nawaooo). well i returned the package but it will be 4 days short of 3months when it will arrive cdhc. Pls will they still consider the application?. Also, I noticed that my cover letter and statement of purpose were not returned, so my best guess is that they ended up in the trash can . Do they really read those stuff? Well, na Go hand we dey sha.

@chizquare, am also a dr n got accepted into the U of S MPH. Is that also ur program?

@all, nyc job u guys are doing here. I just got admissn 4 masters in uni of sask, though i hv not received my letter. Hv read thru all pages n preping my app. Hv some que 1. My mum is ma sponsor but most of her share cert r shared wit ma dad, can i still include dem 2. still on nysc POP in sept, hp it wont affect ma app. 3. Must g be present in lag 4 police cert, wat oda options do i hv. Pls a reply will b highly appreciated. Tnx.

I am new to the forum. I applied for a Masters degree in Uni. of British Columbia. But going through the pages of the forum I have really not seen much talk about the school or don't they offer Nig applicants admission? I applied for an MPH for Fall.
Well, if I am admitted, how do I proof ties to my country, The only things I have are a history of travelling to US for a clinicall rotation (during undergrad) and returning, and an official letter stating my qualification for medical residency in Nigeria. Pls reply.
