Romance › Re: She Desperately Wants To Marry Me by Slapsticker: 7:44am On Aug 18, 2017 |
Even if you marry the girl, it's set to fail before starting.
The mistake has been made. We are all human, we change our minds. Love is an emotion, it can wane, die and turn around.
Don't marry her!!!
and don't bother about curses, you had no idea you won't marry her when you broke her cherry, buh now things have changed. she has to undestand that and move on. If she kills herself, good for you. Build something later in her remembrance.
If she tries to kill you, kill her first. Be swift about it and feel no guilt. We all are selfish, and you should want what is best for your self.
you cannot afford to stick with an emotionally wounded animal for the rest of your life, having someone remind you at every window how she aborted a baby for you bla bla bla. The abortion was the best thing to do for both of you at the time and none of you should regret doing it.
This is from me, a selfish, cold and insensitive bastard. if you have another adjective to describe me, you are welcome.
Buh, at the end it is your happiness that matters more. |

Family › Re: Why Do Some Married Women Cheat? by Slapsticker: 5:12pm On Jun 28, 2017 |
joseph1013: I follow your diary and may be cos I'm a contarian thinker, I disagree with some of your points but alas diaries are not for debates.
But at the risk of derailing this thread, let me point out the latest: issue of living far or close to workplace based on issue of transportation.
Though I stay close to my workplace, when I was younger, I stayed far away due to the cost of accommodation. I advised someone last week on this.
He works at CMS and lives at Ikorodu. He is a younger version of myself. The reason for saying this is very important. If you're not a focused hard worker willing to delay gratifications, my advice may not be the best option for you. If you have to come from a far place every weekend to club at Quilox, you may be better off staying in VI.
Anyway, in Agric, Ikorodu, he lives in a very good 1-bedroom apartment which costs 180,000 where he has prepaid meter, water supply and good security. Every working day, he spends between 500-800 on transport. For 250 working days, that's 125,000 - 200,000 per year.
A minimum total expense of (180,000 + 125000 =) 305,000. A maximum total expense of (180,000 + 200,000 =) 380,000.
If he chooses to stay around Surulere, Onikan, VI or Lekki, he would be looking at between 400,000 - 1,000,000 per year in a DECENT place.
If you have a family, it should not even be a debate.
My conclusion from observing young people is that they don't have a knack for numbers. Or let me say the quest for the easy life does not make them think critically of their options.
I used my commuting time to read, listen to audios and make plans. I looked back at waking up 4am everyday and not getting home until 11am with nostalgia. I was first to get to work, I was the last to leave the office. They said I was pushing myself too hard, but then is that not what a young man starting a career supposed to do? Your counsel came handy, thanks bro! |

WORDSENSEI: This is heartbreaking coming from a lady. It means you also support the "one lock, one key" analogy. Shame on your ugly self. Keep oiling the non existent egos of selfish men. It's called brain wash |

I haven't read a better comment all week. It's good to know more folks are beginning to think straight without bias. PaperLace: * Women are polygamous. * Some men start tying wrapper and wearing oversize boxers. * Their husbands don't service them well. Some men do wuruwuru sex. No pre-intimacy...etc. * They are wicked and selfish. * Young boys don't allow them rest. * Lots of Nigerian men develop potbelly after sometime. She becomes less attracted to him. Women are visual beings too. * Lots of Nigerian men neglect their wives. Look around you, too many absentee husbands. They prefer to go and sit at bar. * Temptation. Etc
In all, it's 85% the fault of the man...Nigerian men should take care of their wives well, so that side-bobos won't snatch her.
Do you know what's double standard at all?
The double standard here, is you thinking a woman's cheating doesn't have justification like the man's own. They're both human, capable of falling to temptation (aka) adultery. |

ifyalways: Some situations, work environment etc demand special living arrangements.
I wouldn't mind investing in such if in can get it booked 22nights a month. Hit me up at salpaticker at Gmail dot com.
There are short-let apartments in Lekki/Ikoyi/VI that cost nothing less than 30K per night for a one bed apartment and they are Never short of patronage. |

[quote author=geekybabe post=55277276]She's a female techie.. she freaking codes. And then she's got talent and ambition.
She is a great girl. Highly intelligent with a very good character. In my opinion, she doesn't av self esteem issues. She is just some phlegmatic sides and it really takes a patient listener to understand her.
Love u debie-rise. You are a winner already [b]
I know she studied computer science, Buh ain't sure of the coding part. I like that she is into fitness and music.
Making it to the finals in big brother is all she needs. She already has enough to leverage on.
Unfortunately, big brother isn't all about talent and intelligence. It's more about votes from the populace.
It will take a miracle for her to win.
Most do more of emotional voting than logical voting. |
TV/Movies › Re: BBNaija: Bally Evicted From Big Brother Naija by Slapsticker: 7:10am On Apr 03, 2017 |
by evicting Bally, u could have as well given the money and SUV to efe yesterday.
Its no expected that the female votes would be spread amongst four favorites.
here is how its gonna go,
Either Tboss or debbie rise are gonna be second while efe wins.
its that simple.
those girls are gonna garner a lot of sympathy, sentimental and emotional votes.
buh at the end it wont pay off cos its gonna be divided.
if either debbie rise or tboss had been evicted. then, the either of the two left standing would have been able to give efe a fight with both fans' massive and aggressive reaction to bulling.
However, as things stands. debbie still has her fans, tboss has hers, bisola still got some loyalist. Marvis? well she is coming fifth regardless.
I know that of all the five contestants above, tboss has attracted more fresh voters on her band wagon. buh by her not been evicted yesterday, the efe team got the jolt they needed. they are gonna massively vote and see if bb is gonna try something funny again (which he never did).
My friends fav HM - Debbie rise' chance of winning got blown away by tboss remaining in the house. too bad bruh.
Dont be like hillary, dont let online polls fool you. Be like Trump, be smart and place your bets wisely.
My analyis is tentative tho. Any thing can cause a swing at any moment. |

We all shouldn't get married.
Many a number of marriages happened under the coercion of "I have to get married, I have to settle down, Age is no longer on my side, bla bla bla".
Marriage isn't the key to a happy life. Don't attach yours to it. |
