I think it's time for Buhari to ban social media so there will be secrecy in the affairs of the goverment. social media is a tool for peddling lies and falsehood against change regime of PMB. We all heard when Osinbajo said they have no money to donate because they recieve half salaries. The PDP is full of bloody liars who are obviously pained by the electoral loss of the thief called GEJ. Aisha will never recieve such money at the expense of Kogi workers. Its time to ban the internet and social media in Nigeria cos it seems we are not ripe for it yet

Back then in school when ever girls try loving up I also told them to go find a working class dude. why? I figured that a girl is averagely four years ahead of her male colleague.

I never had anything serious to do with them, and I always made them realise that fact. some folks ain't just realistic sometimes. they live in some fantasy world.

so OP expected the girl that got married to the working class guy to have stuck with his hustling ass. If she were your sister, what would you have advised?

Guys seldom forgets a lady that stood by him in times of lack even when she gave him nothing but just there to encourage him and manage the 1kobo the guy has.

The mistake many ladies make is that they always want the guy to remain "sexually faithful to them" when he eventually becomes financially ok.

The truth is that being there for a guy in his downtime does not mean he won't have other side chicks(If he wants to) but the truth is that he will never ever ever forget think about dumping you(in most cases) but unfortunately many ladies don't look at it from this angle and once they see the guy dating another chic,they begin to sing a funny song of the guy being unfaithful and some even leave the guy and i just smh.

Guys are wise...they will hardly leave a guy who was there for them all through..even 2-baba and the rest know better.

That's right! I am still single because I have high expectations. Not for the man though, but for myself.

I once dated (and engaged) to a doctor who earned over 200k with a beach house, and another tri-level home in a wealthy part of city and who could give me the 'world' with just a smile as he put it.

Guess what? I decided I rather struggle and become my own "doctor". Instead of wearing a t-shirt that says "I married a doctor", I decided to wear "I am a doctor". Damnit.

Now, If I saw a future with him, maybe that would be a different case. But, I did not. But, anyway, I am a girl of different breed--more like the masculine side of me. I did not want to marry until i had something to offer or contribute or at least feel financially and (satisfactorily) ready.

However, it is a different story tho in many parts of the world where women have very little to no other options BUT to seek and marry a wealthy fellow, or at least one with sustainable source of income.

your father would be proud of you.

And to the OP, would you want your daughter to marry a man earning 40k a month?

guess that's a big deal in Africa.

I get my fair share of that. I just see it like a guy asking a girl out too. obviously we must be close enough for them to know I am single.
I simply and respectfully let them know that if I do a yess I will be selfish and insensitive. we will end up ruining our present relationship, so let's just play it the way we r.
well most of them stay around and later get to introduce me to their bfs. while some still keep hoping for a better future.

what can I do? some guys too are out there that won't take no for an answer and they ain't bn crucified.

we should have mutual respect for each other's feelings and emotions.
