The so called Lagosian igbos have heard the different sides of the stories about Nigeria and have had long contact with other Nigerians to under the different shades and nuances that make up this awesome and complex country, and that we all have common enemies that are majorly the elites from all Nigeria tribes without exception

On the other the igbotic home grown and based igbos have not been able to understand Nigeria above what they are told by their parents and uncles. They see an average other Nigerian as part of their own problem and a reason why he or she is still a failure at over 30 yrs without anyyhing tangible to point to as achievement outside the igbotic achieved Bsc grin

You are on point you know what I'm saying.. I have MRT couple of them. It is very shameful. They don't even know anything about themselves.
They don't know their home. And they don't care. They behave like Akatas. .
Akata is even a praise. They behave like mumu.

Nwanne chukwu gozie GI. I remember my first time I'm the east as a teenager, when I was looking for admission. I have never looked down on anybody, but some of these lasgidi guys are very uncultivated, loud and empty. They would talk about things in Lagos as if they live with it. As if they amount to something. I laugh.
You ask them where are they staying in Lagos. They would start lying. Trust me, I know every nook and cranny of Lagos.
These people know nothing. They will be forming classless swag, with nothing to show for it.

I have been very worried about the development. They don't know what they are doing to themselves.
Check all the artist of Igbo extraction from the east, north and compare it with those from Lagos.

Check out the entrepreneur from these zones too. I have come to feel that there is something wrong somewhere. I may be wrong but it is very very serious. They're not the only people born outside the Igbo land.

Northern born are very Igbo to the core at least majority of them.
To be honest I don't know what is causing this apathy to Igbo issues on the part of those born in lagos. While in Lagos,I wasn't the overly proud Igbo type I am now but I never looked down on my people. Never. Infact,I frowned at Yoruba behaviour and lifestyle,it was mostly bullshit to me. But about these bunch we're talking about here, these ones are something else. To be honest these ones are efulefu,no other way to put it. They carry Yoruba on the head, they denigrate the Igbo Nation etc. My brother I can only point the blaming finger at the parents of these people,I think they're not doing enough to enculture the kids with necessary tidbits to ensure the kids know who they are. Chineke nyelu anyi aka.

Between me and you who is myopic, did you just hear yourself?? " people have a right to interpreted restructuring as war"? Jesus Christ what kind of human beings with barbaric thinking do we have in this country, these are some of the pointers that goes a long way to prove this country is not one, because of our thinking, way of lives and different religion?? ? The North has always been known to exhibit violent tendencies as they did in 2011 elections where Corps members serving their father land were slaughtered like cows, the question is for how long will we continue to tolerate their violent and barbaric tendencies, knowing fully well that nobody has a monopoly of violence?? ?

Recently ASSU called for referendum to decided a way forward, was that a call for war?? ? God have mercy on us with the kind of animalistic thinking set of human beings we have in this country. Go to Britain and tell them that a call for referendum is a call for war and see if you will not be taken to a psychiatric hospital.

Referendum is not and can never be a call for war.
That his response was so stupid.

Lagos is, but it doesn't explain why they chose to be ignorant and silly. I went to secondary school in Lagos, and university in the East. I have the first hand information on what I'm saying. I met these so called lasgidis in school, their reasoning was very uncultured and annoying. They prefer speaking Yoruba to Igbo. I picked a fight with them occasionally. I exposed and shredded them. That they became very ashamed of themselves. They would think they are better than Eastern Igbo, they will be quick to label someone igbotic.
This basically sums up my fellow lasgidi coursemates in University. Stupid bunch. All of them to be honest. However, label me Igbotic and I revel in it.

I meet Lagos born Igbo very well here in the east(I'm Lagos born myself but currently in the east) and I must tell you when they talk you will shake your head in pity. They are so so ignorant,so silly and so lost. I must be very plain, many of them are just sheep. They have no regard for the culture, they have no regard for the language...Nothing. Growing up outside Igboland has taken it's toll negatively on many of them. They denigrate the Igbo Nation with reckless abandon It is a pity they're foolishly echoing sentiments they absolve from Igbophobic nonentities in Lagos. I must tell you the truth,it is the dust Nnamdi Kanu is raising with the secessionist movement that has made some of them start asking pertinent questions.

Hmmm... This makes sense. If many Igbo people repeatedly and excitedly shout "Bia fu ha! Bia fu ha! Bia fu ha! Bia fu ha!" ("Come and see them! Come and see them! Come and see them! Come and see them!"wink, it would sound like "Biafra! Biafra! Biafra! Biafra!" to a foreigner who has never heard Igbo before.

I'd love more debate on this though.
It's quite an interesting perspective to that name.

Keep claiming South-South!

Its boldly glaring on the map that the South-East is land-locked! River port you can have and thats for transportation and small cargo ships.

Stop claiming the South-South!

It will be easier for Arsenal to win the EPL than for Anambra or Abia to have a functioning river port!
