And the drama continues, Nigerian a country of intense theatrics. I patiently awaited the ministerial list of the current president of the federal republic of Nigeria with so much anticipation. ( took a break from Nigerian politics for a while, i wanted to give the current ruling party some time to put themselves together) but as it is typical of nigerians not to disappoint when it comes to padi padi issues, the ruling party has towed the same line it accussed the pdp of towing. #Compensation #politics. According to a comment by jok the more we change the more we remain the same. Naija we hail thee. After the reggae play the blues. The blues the blues. Make you do as i do, i do i do. enjoy urself dear nigerians, naija naija. even the saints who bring change are rogues, saints indeed. shar:-Pe the gala share petrol money aaaaaaah. Exactly one year ago today my dad and mum died. It was the worst phone call I've ever recieved. I can remember that moment like it was yesterday. After realizing that it was really true that they were gone, I still couldn't believe it. It was like the world is gonna end. Friends (ALAHAJI) couldn't let me off their sight, for they fear of wut I could do next. It was like am going insane! I remember not knowing what to tell my siblings, as they were all ignorant of what is going on. I remember crying in side the bus, all the way down to benue state, were there body was deposited at the general hospital murg. I remember how the passengers and the driver could not stand me crying without telling them what's going on. It was finally true that dad and mum are no more, when I got to the mortuary and found their lifeless body laying as if they were sleeping, but that's not mum and dad do sleep! DAD and MUM its exactly one year today that you left us, and all these things are so fresh in our memories, life hasn't been fair to me even wen you guys were here to nature and direct my foot steps, now I can see and understand all what you guys has been teaching me about life. Being alone in this world without mum and dad is something I can never wish my enemies, you solve ur problems by your self, without anybody giving a damn how you feel, you don't have anyone to run to wen you in distress, every one since to give deaf ears no matter how loud you cried, at you think if the world is really existing. When I receive those call that you guys normally receive from my siblings, demanding one thing or the other, at times I smile, at times I cry. I smile because I Kw am gradually becoming a dad and mum to them. And I cried because some of these task are to much for me alone. DAD, MUM since the day you left, I cry anytime I talk or chat with CHIDERA, because I know it will be hard for her to have another close friends just like three of you, I pray GOD comes to her rescue. MUM, DAD I will always remember and pray for you guys, as you also watch over us. Its been one year, and is just like yesterday waow! How time flies. We (Vivian, Charles, Linda, Darlington, and your lovely Chidera) loves you guys so much, but GOD loves you more GOOD BYE MUM, GOOD BYE DAD, till we meet to path no more! A guy was in love with a girl but never had the guts to tell her. One day around midnight, he gathered some courage & sent her a text with these honest words... "Pamela, I love you, I wonna date you. Plz reply & tell me how you feel." A few seconds later he received a message alert on his phone. He was so scared and too tensed to open it that night so he decided not to check the message until the next morning when he's less tense and in better senses. So he went to sleep. When he woke up the next day he prayed seriously about the message for good news, went about doing his morning chores, brushed his teeth, ate his breakfast, took a bath, dressed himself up then climbed into bed and picked his phone to read the message on his phone. This was the response he read: "Dear customer you have insufficient balance to send this message. Please recharge your account and try again". |
This is exactly what happens when you are addicted to NL, you sleep with your phone, and before you know it , you start #dream typing! Wake up Bro, and prepear for work! |

THE MAN AFTER GODs HART The morning after the official declaration of results by INEC for Nigeria's 2015 presidential election, I arose from my bed with mixed feelings. The sitting president had just lost and in display of rare magnanimity had conceeded defeat. He even went on record as the first to formally congratulate the victor. I was sad because Nigerians had rejected a man I personally believe had a vision for a new Nigeria. He had assumed stewardship of the ship of state after the demise of his boss. The powers that be never wanted him to take up the mantle and did all in their power to stop him, they failed. But they never gave up. He was a threat to the status quo, a game changer, an ill wind that blew them no good. They need Nigeria to remain the same. But he challenged them as best as he could. For 6 years Jonathan battled the guardians of the status quo, they were too powerful. In the end their master stroke was the twin blade of sponsored insurgency, and powerful propaganda. They quickly and surely turned the voice of the people against him. In the end, the guardians of the status quo won! Or did they? As I pondered about Jonathan and his travails as Nigeria's out going president, my subconscious came alive with spirited thoughts that could only have been dropped into me by divinity and the immortal story of how the Jews were blindly persuaded to have the messiah crucified came to the fore of my heart. An excerpt of the story below: And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas. [17] Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ? [18] For he knew that for envy they had delivered him. But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus. [21] The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas. Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. [23] And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified. Instructive for our times, wouldn't you say? They thought they were getting rid of Jesus, but they were inadvertently making him immortal. Jesus was crucified according to the wish of the people who were strongly but wrongly persuaded to demand it. But the story didn't end as they thought it would. Jesus died and resurrected to the Glory of God and mankind. Clearly Jonathan is not Jesus Christ, he has never claimed to be. That being said, Nigerians thought they were getting rid of Jonathan but they have just made him immortal in our hearts. Setting him up now for a higher pedestal of service no longer to Nigeria alone, but now to Africa and the world. I see the African Union, the Commonwealth, and the United nations coming to him to champion an international cause that only men of his calibre can be made to assume. He has won a greater victory not only for himself but for our nation Nigeria. He has just ascended into the league of true statesmen. The social media space that was used to lay siege on his person is now awash with endless praise to him, the praise to his conduct and courageous display of honour even in the face of defeat has somwhat overshadowed the victor's victory parade. Accolades continue to pour in. Now same Nigerians that rejected him are calling him names like... True hero, African Statesman, Father of Nigeria's democracy, Nigeria's own Mandela, Some say he deserves the Nobel peace prize for peace. Hmmm, I say again, very instructive for our times. I REMAIN, AN UNREPENTANT NIGERIAN AND I SALUTE THE FATHER OF TRUE DEMOCRACY IN NIGERIA, DR GOODLUCK EBELE AZIKIWE JONATHAN (GCFR) #krossparker# |
