I had my first and final stage interview last week. The questions are straight forward. The usual "can we meet you", is certain. Most of the questions are drawn from your Cv relating to your experience and knowledge of the job. Although persons were asked questions differently all you need do is to keep calm and be compose, your confidence plays a vital role.

I did my first stage interview today, similar questions were asked.

That means they got back to you few days after u did your first interview?

Mad at you ke? All I am saying is that we should all try as much as possible to help each other, we are all on this platform for the same reason which is to get a good job, so if u have any info that can help always try and share it...

For job security sake, I will advice u to take the teaching job because all this bank jobs ain't secure, u can be sacked anytime. Just try to develop yourself in terms of the teaching job. Try to learn from those already doing d job.

Sleezwizz, I haven't gone for the first stage interview but my sister did. She went for the interview on the 17th, according to her: they were like 20 in number on the list @ oregun BU and the interviewers called them in one after d other. The interviewers were 4 in number. Just make sure u know ur CV and if u have worked before or still working, they will question u more on d experience. U shld know how to manage customers, especially how to manage them to pay bills.
Everybody was asked different questions based on d experience.

You know why questions like this become annoying? Simply because it's clearly stated in the post that the role is to be "graduate trainee in BEDC". Which means that one would naturally expect that before you ask questions like the one you have asked, you would have at least Googled up the meaning of BEDC. In which case I'm sure you would have found an answer to your question.

Please sorry I picked on you o (which is why I didn't quote your moniker), it's just that I've been seeing recurring questions on this post to the tune of "I know it would be in Lagos", "which one is BEDC?", "what kind of job is this?" plenty plenty things that Google can simply help us.

Nobody says we should know everything, but at least sha try to Google up before we ask the rest. Some people would receive interview invite, and immediately come online (the same online where there is Google o) to Nairaland to ask "are they real? Do they exist?". Meanwhile if u even just copy and paste that their own typed interview message on Google, info about the company pops up, many times even the company's website. The people answering you on NL, them be winch?

Thanks so much for this. Its so sickening that job seekers who get invites don't do much in doing background check on companies that invite them for interview before coming here to ask for info. We know the situation of things in d country is tough presently but nothing stops u from finding out about d coy on Google or is it because of d fear of wasting ur data?

Concerning the arrival of the expected devices, here is the conditional good news to those on clear stand. This is to inform you that the said devices have been released from the various institution's stores to be sent to various state's outlets as directed for collections.

Bodies (persons) will come to educate you on how to install and use those sophisticated tools that will uniformly come with the device at the various state centers, you are expected to be present in the seminar as at when due.

Moreso, Those that had difficulty selecting device before now should kindly login the NPVN dashbord currently for selection, your problem(s) must have be corrected as you received your stipend for the first time in the present payment sequence.

Pls remember to print the refractive index(print out )of your device selection for evidence based purposes, you might ask to show before collection. Failure to select your device within days from now will make you suffer delay in the collection of the said device on time.

Those not received stipend under right conditions and followed procedure (i.e. making sure the instruction given for correction is said and done) should patiently wait, your problem has been received and is taking right care of. Ensure you always present at your various places of primary assignment (PPA) as at when due. Happy weekend. The best.

Why is that people are keeping info about the first interview stage to their selves. Its so pathetic, is it a crime to share the info or did those that interviewed u insist that u must not divulge the info to others?

Keeping the info to yourself doesn't mean u will get the job or deny others from getting the job but u don't know how many people u might be helping by sharing d details of the interview.

Nigerian youths are so self centered.... Smh

It was all joy and excitement for staff of Stanbic IBTC (a member of standard group)as there was an upward review of salary for staff members as some got as high as 46% increase in salary. This came alongside the performance bonus which the bank pays yearly. Though the increment was across all board (including outsourced contract staff), the increase was based on the appraisal rating of the staff. It's also worthy to note that Stanbic reviews it staff salary every year, however this is tied to staff performance.

Members of staff feel motivated and full of spirit as this would help cushion the effect of the tough economy . Stanbic IBTC is currently one of the best places to work in the country.
