NOETHNICITY:
Didnt you see the news about kemi begging for money from concerned members of the public?
Before going to prison did you see beg for arms
I reside in Ibadan and I know her. She never had any cash before or after prison. She lives in her family house and she's been fed. Her mother gives her money to buy data that she uses to bully people online. So she really didn't have to beg until she went to prison and things weren't what it used to. No more free meal and data from home. But mind you, this is not the first time Kemi would be begging online. Most of you just started hearing about her few years ago. Some of us have known Kemi for decades. This is someone that is well over 50. She had nothing of her own before. Just a privileged background.

BluntBoy:

How did you know that she was paid to defame him?

Even in prison, she kept on saying she couldn't be intimidated.

She is doing this because she is very broke and she is not in good terms with her family. Fighting powerful men in Nigeria is like trying to move a rock. The likes of Sowore know how to fight because they always have one foot outside the country. Fighting a big man in Nigeria and making Nigeria your permanent residence is suicidal. A powerful pastor in Nigeria has everything in his favour, including a large church congregation that may include police chiefs, prison bosses and chief justices.

Kemi should make up with her family and learn how to be an investigative journalist like Sowore.
I don't know the details of her allegations against the pastor, but I think I'll go with you. She can't even go back to the US or Canada.

after she had been to prison 4* in 1yr and become bankrupt, what did you expect?
If putting on such a show wud get her her freedom what do you expect?
Kemi was not bankrupt. She never had anything. She's just a psycho from a privileged background.

Anaskie:
My own is that I'm still wondering how she was able to retain her accent after everything!
Kemi schooled and lived in the US and Canada for decades so the accent is natural. But ignore her accent, she's nothing but a psycho and a player. I've met her and spoken to her before some years ago at a mall in Ibadan. She's all shades of pscho and a player.
I'm not shading her. Just the truth. Let's see where her games take her. I wish her well though. We all have our flaws, but Kemi can play really, really dirty just like a typical Akata b...tch!

Guys check out all the feminine replies to this post. See them trying to justify what the lady said which shows how morally decayed most of these our ladies. The fact is the level of parental guidance( upbringing) these days is almost non existent. No wonder we have nudes everywhere instead of career driven achievements.

She needs someone that earns much. She never said she was rich.
Marriage shouldn't be a financial investment darling. If she needs money, she should try and make money.
It shouldn't be a career. If your marriage now comes with the money, then lucky you. Don't make it the basic reason to want to be married. That's why all these cracks and separations happens to often nowadays.
NB: Been married for seven years so I think I have a bit of idea wink

She shouldn't have absconded. That might make her situation worse. There's nothing wrong in explaining to the the policemen what she saw and how she tried to help.

No way for your fatherland as long as the corruption is the first consideration anytime a capital project is being involved.

No corrupt mind ever thinks straight!

Let's still be hopeful my brother. Nowhere else to call 'home' than here. It will be well with Nigeria!!!

Very thoughtful.
If and only if we can wake from our slumber in Nigeria, we can convert a lot of our bad situations to positives. Imagine when you're coming home from work and Naija sun is grilling you alive. Just take a look at the solar panels beside the road and you'll just be smiling. Because you know your sufferings will end as soon as you step into your apartment. All your solar batteries would have been fully charged.
Which way fatherland??

Are you marrying her because you love her or because you want to turn her to maid. That girl should dump you as soon as possible. I am self employed and it is my husband that do prepare my baby for school every morning. I will just wake up like 7am and prepare breakfast but he will be the one to bath him and feed him. We brought the baby into this world together and should take care of him together, omolomo o le wa pa iyaoniya( ask any Yoruba to translate it for you)

For the past 7 years of marriage, I had taken up the bathing and clothing of my two kids since they were 6 months old (while madam cooks and prepare for our office trip). Even when I travel sometimes, it feels so strange to the kids to have their mom bathe them. Your wife is your life partner and not your maid.

Haha, I laugh in Fulfulde. How did you manage to do that?

It is a great thing that culture is not a monolith, if it was, what a boring world this would be. I respect other people's culture(s), I expect them to return the same level of respect towards my own.

I do not know what God you believe in or if you believe in God at all (If you do not believe in God that is fine, I respect that as well). But the way I was raised and brought up was that we are all equal. No one is superior or inferior to anyone else regardless of where they come/hail from. Be it a man or woman living in the Andaman Islands in India wearing practically nothing, or a nomad being proud of their respective turban(s).

Be happy that the world is as colorful as it is instead of wishing for certain cultures to change and become more white-washed/westernised.

Please who are you?? You reek of so much intelligence and maturity.
Get out of here mehn!!

God will increase you and give you the wherewithal to complete it.
Seeing your environment is a bit "isolated", l will suggest that you be careful when you want to doing your electrical wiring.
let it be one of the last thing to be done and when you want to do it, please do provide some sort of "sleep-over" security for the house.
Thieves have been known to remove all cables overnight, especially when the fittings have not been screwed-in and the wires have no tgone live with Electricity.
I know that fencing may not be all that feasible right now, for cost reasons so, we need to think about other means of securing the cables. undecided undecided

Cables are so expensive now, l will hate some heartless thieves coming to wreck havoc on your struggle.

Thanks so much Daboomb. I will take you advise very seriously. I have neighbors on both flanks though. The house sits on an acre which is mine which makes it look isolated. People are disturbing but I'm not selling grin.
Thanks once again cos I'll soon be doing d wiring and plumbing.

Go and see Uche, his shop is behind Onado FIling Station at Iyaganku.

For your first time, be patient and wait to speak to him, he's very busy. Tell him what you're building and your taste and expectations. He'll then recommend stuff to you and may then pass you off to one of his numerous boys. If you talk to the boys direct they may just sell you substandard product because some members of the society are after the cheapest shyte they can buy angry

I recommend him without ANY reservation.

After you're done shopping then look for a cool joint just up the street along the 110 road. They have the coldest Star in town cheesy
