Don Jazzy is far from broke so don't believe what the haters say. The producer who's enjoying a fruitful romance with Samsung and Promasidor, makers of Loya Milk, has finally doled out the cash for the Lekki duplex he rented this year after.

He actually rented and moved into the house after his separation from D'banj.

According to those who know, the mansion is a white building close to the estate fence. And the producer may have paid up to N160m to take ownership.

CelebritiesMy Boobs Are My Selling Point – Chiege Alisigwe by slimderek(op): 9:04am On Dec 09, 2012
Chiege Alisigwe came into limelight after starring alongside Ramsey Nuoah in the blockbuster movie ‘My Love’ in 1998. She has since become one of the most-sought-after actresses in Nollywood. In this interview, the delectable actress talks about her NGO, which she recently set up to cater for the welfare of the less -privileged people in our society as well as her plans to establish a studio among other issues.
You recently set up an NGO. What is it all about?
What I had in mind when I set up my NGO was to use the platform to reach out to the less privileged people in our society. You know, somebody might be looking good but inwardly, he or she has a lot of problems bothering him. So, we really want to see how we can assist them in our own little way.
Have you reconciled with your husband?
I don’t know. I hate talking about my private life. But what I know is that I have a child now.
Which part of your body do you like most?
There are certain things God blessed with that make me to feel like a real woman. They are my boobs and my face. I am not saying that anybody who is flat chested is bad, the person still looks good. But if I dress, i will first admire myself before the mirror, I always thank God for making me a complete woman.
Like something you know many are paying to have, I have it naturally. And I thank God the way he made me. I am very grateful, I cannot ask for more.
Like how much can you insure these places you like most?
Money cannot be enough when it comes to those areas. I don’t pray for anything to happen to these places. I am ok the way I am.
Are you comfortable with the kind of movies that are coming out of Nollywood?
I am not comfortable at all. Though there are some good movies, the fact remains that Nollywood needs to step up its game in the area of production. Because, majority still need amendments here and there. I want the industry to produce quality movies . I want them to come out with something more challenging.

*Chiege Alisigwe
How has married life been with you?
Well, married life is good. Though there are ups and down, it is sweet at the same time, it is sour. You cannot just say it is all bed of roses but it is good. It is good because when the going is sweet, you love it the more but when the going is bad, you will still be there provided it is not life and death.
Does your married affect your career (Acting)?
No, it does not.
You stopped acting for a while now, what happened?
No, actually, I didn’t stop. But somehow, you do not need to act one million movies in a day. You have to advise yourself, I am the married woman that wants to combine my family with my career, and then you have to compromise. You think about your family first. No matter what you do, your family comes first.
How did you start acting?
Well, that was in 1998. When I left secondary school, I took JAMB; and I entered into the movie industry. To me then, it was a sort of whiling away time while I was still waiting for my JAMD result. Not like now you see people desperately want to act. It was not like that for me.
Was it like a passion you wanted to use to pass time?
Number one, I love acting because, I use to act drama in secondary school then. Secondly, I was waiting for my JAMB result so I want to use that to while away time. Because, I don’t like staying idle. Even as a child, I used to do one or two things. I have always been an independent person. I would say that I started acting because I hate idleness.
How many movies have you acted this year?
I don’t really know but it is not much.
You live outside the country most often?
I live here in Nigeria but most times, I travel out of the country because of the project I’m embarking on. I shuttle between Nigeria and the outside world. There are certain things I need to bring from there to this country that is why I travel most often. Like my cameras, I brought them down from there. Like the house of service I told you, I need some in Nigeria and likewise outside the country.
Like other actors and actresses who have ventured into the music industry. Are you planning to do the same?
I love singing, I have sang so many songs. But, we cannot keep acting all the time. Because if you continue like that, you can never have your time, you can never give your family that time they need. You act, you get another thing to fall back on incase if you are not there.
At the same time, you cut your shot. What I mean is this, if you are the boss of what you are doing, you can say, let me give this time to my family today and your assistance will take over. Also, tomorrow you can say let me go to work/location today. I don’t want to spend all my time in working (acting). Where I can be answerable to somebody without being answerable to my husband.
So, you have to initiate something on your own by so doing, you can tell your workers, go and do this thing and you will go and relax. You can also be doing other things that will give you time to attend to your family. That does not mean I would not act for anybody anymore. I will act for people but I can never be the same like when I started as a young girl who does not have anybody to answer to.
Does it mean you choose the roles you act now?
Yes. I choose. I see the script. If I am not satisfied with it, I will tell you that I cannot act the script. If I am satisfied with that, I will go on with the script.
Do you think you still have a chance in the industry considering the number of actresses who are eager to act?
Well, I don’t look at people’s faces. I believe that whatever you are, it is on your own. If you are good, it is for your own good. I always tell people to be confident in themselves.
If you have self-confidence and a dragon is by your side, you can even say hi to the dragon and go your way the dragon would even turn back to follow your footsteps. Just be contended with yourself, how you act,, do you thing in your own way.
Don’t mind how people do theirs. You will find out that a lot of people are out there who are following your footsteps without your knowledge. So I am not scared.
What are the challenges you are facing now?
Talking about my challenges now, I think it is what I am building up that is giving me lots of challenges. The other challenge an actor/actress can face is that professionalism in the field, knowing what you are doing. By God’s grace, we have the professionals in the industry. In fairness, I even love challenges so much.
What is your driving force in creating your own studio?
I decided to create my own studio because, I wanted something different apart from my acting. It is a kind of gradual step you have to take when you want to be there. I do not really want to have problem when I am there I will start looking for cameras or anything. I want to gather everything before I start the NGO. So that when I am out, they can finish everything without problems.
What do you intend to do with your NGO?
Ok, we want to reach to people because, so many Nigerians are hungry and I think I am happier if I am eating and the person beside me is eating as well. If am eating and the person beside me is hungry, I feel so unhappy. I derive joy in making people happy.
When do we hope to hear about the NGO well?
Not now because we are still working on it.
Tell us about your background?
I am Chiege Alisigwe from Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State. I am the last in the family of Eleven. I read fine and applied arts. I did my OND at Federal Polytechnic, Oko, before proceeding to IMT Enugu for Higher National Diploma. I did my youth service and now on the verge of doing my masters.

CelebritiesCold War Between Goldie & J Martins After He Disrupts Her Video Shoot In SA by slimderek(op): 8:58am On Dec 09, 2012
There’s serious bad blood right now between two music stars: Goldie and J Martins. It’s a long story, but I’ll try to make it short. Goldie invited J Martins to South Africa in November to appear in the video of a song they did together called Give It To Me. J Martins asked for business class. Goldie said she couldn’t afford it. J Martins agreed to come reluctantly. Then he told Goldie to pick him up at the airport. Goldie sent someone instead. J Martin refused to follow the man Goldie sent to the airport to pick him up, saying he didn’t know the man and didn’t want to be kidnapped (which makes sense).

J Martins took a taxi, then checked himself into a $700 hotel, refusing to check into the hotel Goldie had booked for him. Goldie and other members of her crew then went to J Martins’ hotel to see him but he refused to see them. He said he was tired, and was not feeling well, so couldn’t see anyone. Then the morning of the shoot, J Martins refused to come to set. He asked Goldie and her crew to pay for his hotel accommodation. $700 x 5 nights = $3, 500. Goldie said she couldn’t afford it. After much begging and talks, J Martins agreed to two nights refund which was $1400.
After that was settled, J Martins didn’t show up on set till 3pm that afternoon. When he got on set, he refused to enter the video until they gave him the $1400. Then he complained about the costumes, said they weren’t his style, he complained about this, complained about that, he refused to do this, refused to do that…he was rude to the crew, he was talking on the phone instead of shooting…etc…etc.
Anyway, to cut the long story short, the white guys shooting the video got tired of all the drama and packed their stuff and left without completing the video. J Martins shot some scenes but not all Goldie is said to be pretty angry at J Martins right now because she lost a lot of money as a result of his behaviour and she didn’t even get an apology from him.
Right now, they are ‘sworn enemies’.
End of story!

There’s an Aluu4 movie in the making and it’s being produced by Simony Productions, the Idumota marketers that brought you Blackberry Babes.

Errr.. I actually think everything is wrong here..
Are they trying to mock the late students or what? Cos am pretty sure these idumota marketers are not shooting this movie to honour the late students.. Its all for their pocket-returns.

The young men lost their lives on october 5th and in about 50 days a movie has already been shot about the sad incident..

Did the script writers get information from the police or even visit the families of the deceased students.. ??!
Am sure the information that ll be passed ll be based on what made rounds online.

I can imagine the agony and trauma the families ll go through when they see this movie.. OMG!!! Nigeria/Nollywood we hail thee..

£90,000-a-week defender sneaked into unsuspecting lover's council flat wearing baseball cap pulled over his face

Curtain call: Lover Kessel took this snap of Toure in her flat
Roland Leon/Sunday Mirror Collect
Married Premier League star Kolo Toure had a lengthy affair with a young model – after tricking her into believing he was a car salesman.

The Manchester City defender told pretty Kessel Kasuisyo his name was Francois and showered her with expensive gifts he claimed he bought with cash he made selling motors, she claims.

And in a desperate bid to keep his real identity secret, she says, the £90,000-a -week star would sneak into her council flat wearing sunglasses with a baseball cap pulled over his face.

Smitten Toure, 31, kept up the astonishing facade for two years.

He married the mother of his two children during the alleged affair and even carried out a bizarre pretend proposal to Kessel, 22 – getting down one one knee to give her a £1,000 diamond ring.

But the game was up for the Ivory Coast international – who portrays himself as a devoted family man – when one of his mistress’s pals recognised him.

She told Kessel to Google her car salesman boyfriend’s real name – and the shocked beauty found Toure’s wedding pictures online.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, Kessel says: “I am devastated. On some of the wedding pictures he is crying but a few weeks before he was in my bed.

“Two or three weeks after the wedding he was at mine. Around the time he got married he called and said he was back in Africa and had just sold two cars.

“I believed everything he said, I am hurt and confused by it all. Maybe he wanted me to be a second wife. I just don’t know. Everything about his strange behaviour now all makes sense.”

Kessel met Toure, whose brother Yaya also plays for City, outside the Bijou nightclub in Manchester in September 2010. “He started chatting me up and we swapped numbers,” she says.

“Then he gave me a lift home. The next day he called me and we met at a hotel. I told him he looked familiar and he just said maybe he looks like somebody. He said he sold cars in Africa and did some charity work.”

At least Toure wasn’t lying about his charity work – he is an ambassador for Save The Children.

Kessel says: “He said he came from Ghana and was a student too. He said his father was a minister. I am not a fan of football. I thought maybe I had seen him on telly with his father.”

He called her again within a fortnight and they met in the same hotel, the Malmaison in Manchester. “He bought me some sexy white lingerie and black shoes,” says Kessel. “We started kissing and ended up doing it.”

Kessel claims their relationship was on and off until December of that year.

“We would go a week without seeing each other and then he would call me. Sometimes we would meet twice in a week,” she says. “I asked if he had a girlfriend and he said no.”

But devout Muslim Toure had been with fiancee Awo for at least nine years. The couple live in Manchester with their daughter and son. When Toure – who joined Man City for £16million from Arsenal – suddenly stopped calling Kessel in December 2010 she thought it was the end of their brief fling.

But nine months later, after she had moved home, he called her again. “He asked if I wanted to meet up and I told him I had my own flat now,” says Kessel. “He came around in a big car. He was wearing a cap and big sunglasses.

“I told him it was my birthday and he asked me if I would wear some of the stuff he bought me so I got dressed up and we ended up in the bedroom.

“The next time I saw him he bought me a birthday present. He got me a gold watch and some 18-carat diamond earrings.

“He used to call me constantly but from a private number so I couldn’t call back. I was suspicious, but he said he didn’t want me to waste my money calling.

“He once gave me £500 to send to my mother in Zimbabwe. Another time he gave me £200 for food because my fridge was empty. I started to question him about exactly what he did and he would say just selling cars. Things were on and off. This January he asked me to be a girlfriend but said he was going back to Africa to do business.”

Kessel said Toure, banned last year for six months by the FA for taking his wife’s diet pills, broke off contact again between January and May this year. When he got back with Kessel, she had no idea he was weeks away from getting hitched. “He said he had something special for me,” she says. “He called me Princess and turned up with a £1,000 diamond and ruby ring.

“It wasn’t an engagement ring but he said it was symbol of how he felt. He went down on his knee and said he was really serious about me.

“He really got to me. I started telling my friends about him. But whenever I asked to take his picture he refused which I found a bit odd.” Yet Kessel managed to snap him off guard. In June Toure went back to Africa and married Awo at a mosque in the Ivorian capital Abidjan with his brother Yaya as best man. Official photographs showing a tearful Toure wearing a white suit were released to African news websites

Kessel still had no idea her new man was anything but a very successful car salesman.

Weeks after his wedding, “Francois” was seeing her back at her flat. “He told me he wanted me to go to Paris and said he would meet me there,” says Kessel. “I told him before I did that I needed to meet his parents.

“But he said I should give it time to talk to his parents because I am not a Muslim and they would expect me to be with a Muslim. I believed almost everything he said.” But eventually she got fed up with his secretive behaviour and hung up on him during a call in September. He hasn’t been in contact since. Kessel says she only found out the truth a fortnight ago when she showed a pal some of the snaps she had managed to take.

“She said I should go on Google and type in Kolo Toure. It all came up – Manchester City, the wedding pictures to his long-time girlfriend. I felt a fool. I now understand why he used to hide his face and use a private number. I want to make sure he doesn’t do it to anyone else.”

In an interview in 2005, Toure spoke about his excitement at becoming a dad and said he loved relaxing with his partner and family. And last month, on a visit to a school in Ivory Coast where he is a hero, he said: “We are role models. The way I behave is the way the children will want to be.” A source close to Toure said last night: “I have spoken to Kolo and he is denying ever knowing or meeting the girl.”

In June Toure went back to Africa and married Awo at a mosque in the Ivorian capital Abidjan with his brother Yaya as best man. Official photographs showing a tearful Toure wearing a white suit were released to African news websites

Wedding: Toure marries Awo

ComputersMicrosoft Office For Windows 8 by slimderek(op): 9:36am On Nov 26, 2012
Recently I upgraded my windows 7 laptop to windows 8, and i started looking for Microsoft office for windows 8, but i coudn’t find it, but i discovered Microsoft was working on Microsoft office 2013 which was gonna be released next year, being a blogger that i am i coudn’t just wait for the 2013 version and i decided to try the 2010 version i was using on my laptop when it was still windows 7, and it worked perfectly. So i’m sharing with all you who can’t wait for the 2013 version, you can go install the 2010 version you have before or purchase one now.

About Office 2013

Office 2013 is all but ready for its Windows 8 reveal – adding touch sensitive features to the work suite – we’re geeking out.

New features include the ability to edit PDFs in Word and embed YouTube clips into documents, while Skype will be added directly into Office 2013. And, of course, Microsoft has added cloud syncing features as well as revamping Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and One Point.

Coding and testing is all done and Office 2013 has been released to manufacturers. But apparently the Windows 8 October 26th release date didn’t bring Office 2013 – as the name suggests, we’ll have to wait until early next year before it drops. But on the plus side anyone who buys Office 2010 after October 19th will get a free upgrade to Office 2013 on its release.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Ronaldo Backing Manchester United To Beat City To Premier League Title by slimderek(op): 1:09pm On Nov 25, 2012
The Real Madrid man feels his former club can pip the champions to this season’s crown and says he thinks the English league is the “most competitive” in the world, ahead of Spain

Cristiano Ronaldo is backing former side Manchester United to win the Premier League trophy this season after watching rivals Manchester City snatch it from their grasp in dramatic style last season.
Roberto Mancini’s men won the title on the final day with an injury-time winner over QPR but Ronaldo, who spent six years at Old Trafford winning three Premier League titles, does not think the champions will retain their crown.
“It is the most competitive league in the world, in my opinion ahead of Spain. You have a lot of brilliant players and the league is so intense it’s amazing. I watch it in my house every week,” he told the Daily Mail.
“I think United will do it this year and win their trophy back.”
Ronaldo faced City on Wednesday in the Champions League, with the 1-1 draw at the Etihad sealing the Premier League champions’ elimination from the contest.
During his time back in England, the Portuguese captain met up with former manager Sir Alex Ferguson but he insisted a move back to Old Trafford was not discussed.
“We didn’t speak about that [returning to United]. We just spoke about his moment with Manchester United and mine with Real Madrid. We were just happy to see each other,” he added.
“I have enjoyed coming back to Manchester. When we arrived at the airport I was so happy. I had a beautiful story here in Manchester so it was nice to see all the fans and a few Manchester United shirts, too – I am always happy to be here.”

BusinessKidnappers Prevent Judge From Sitting For Two Months by slimderek(op): 12:57pm On Nov 25, 2012
May it never happen; but it could! Imagine some Boko Haram terrorists threatening President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to meet a particular demand. Then imagine Mr. President trying to call the telephone line, possible to track them and make arrests only for the call to ring from the telephone in the pocket of his orderly. What should he do? How would he feel?
Well, this was exactly the fate which befell High Court Judge Flora Azinge in Delta State – of the Otor-Udu High Court, Otor-Udu. She was asked to pay N20 million ransom by a kidnap gang. The demand was made via a threat letter delivered en-ville to her at her residence.
She neither believed nor took the contents of the letter serious until the expiration of the 48hour ultimatum attached to the threat. If you think Azinge is alone in this, you are mistaken. She is not.
In fact, when the kidnappers discovered she wouldn’t budge, they still had the audacity to ask what her problem was; that some other judges had paid and some were paying.

It was in the process of responding to one of their threat phone calls when they narrated to her the exact thing she was doing at home, that she called them back only for the phone to start ringing in the pocket of her police orderly. He was promptly arrested.
Now, when your orderly becomes an accessory before the fact, then the enemy is much closer than you’d thought. Interestingly, some of the processes leading to the kidnap of prominent persons almost always have hands of insiders. So, what do you do?
Investigations are still on-going.
Yet in the same Delta State, the people are torn between instituting the death penalty for kidnapping and just metting out other grueling forms of punishment for the crime.
The state house of assembly has a bill ready for the State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, to sign into law.
Whereas the bill is seeking the death penalty, the governor is refusing to sign it because of his view that death penalty has never been known to solve any problem. Some even argue that you do not take a life that you never gave in the first instance.
In this melange, kidnapping and the threat of it continue to be a lucrative, very lucrative engagement in Delta State.
Just a forth night ago, a Vanguard journalist had his wife kidnapped in the same state and only the payment of a handsome ransom led to the release of the woman.
Still, we keep saying some things can never happen in Nigeria. That, for now, may be in the realm of anachronism. Things are happening now.
Sometime in the late 1980s, in a French-speaking West African country, the story was told of how some people, the equivalent of Nigeria’s own area boys, stormed the presidential palace, laid siege and insisted that the then sitting president needed to ‘settle’ them or else they would not let him be. The president did. He splashed money at them; and they left the presidential palace. Call that extortion by other means. But worse things happen in Nigeria now – like when President Jonathan openly disclosed that members of Boko Haram were in his government.
Today in Nigeria, money-seeking citizens continue to device various methods of extorting money from members of the public.
There is the ONE CHANCE syndrome in Lagos, whereby thieves charter a commercial bus, pretend to be seeking passengers and then whisk unsuspecting and unlucky members of the public who are unfortunate to board such buses to unknown destinations. If just stealing from them and dropping them off in the bush would be the fate of the passengers, that would be paradise; but some have been known to become victims of ritual murder, with some body parts cut off. Nigerians today celebrate if you are kidnapped and returned at the expense of huge sums of money, consoling one another wryly, “let us thank God for life; if they had killed him nko?”
It was Professor Bolaji Akinyemi who disclosed that when he was to resume college education in Lagos some six decades ago, his mother would merely hand him over to a bus driver from Ilesha to Ibadan who would in turn hand him over to another driver from Ibadan to Lagos until he arrived safely at school without fear of being sold off.
Today, any parent who does that may have decided to abandon the child for good or may just be stupidly wicked or wickedly stupid or both.
While some parts of the story you are about to read would make you laugh – like the telephone of Judge Azinge’s orderly ringing in his pocket while she tried to reach her would-be kidnappers and the orderly refusing to answer the call – some other parts would make you shudder in fear – as in the near-kidnap of another judge

Car TalkCalifornia Legalizes Google’s Driverless Car On Public Roads by slimderek(op): 9:11pm On Nov 13, 2012
The state of Carlifornia has passed a bill which allows the usage of Google’s driverless car on the state’s public roads.

Governor Jerry Brown rode to the signing ceremony at Google headquarters in the passenger seat of a vehicle that steered itself, a Prius modified by Google. Google co-founder Sergey Brin and State Senator Alex Padilla, who sponsored the bill, were along for the ride. An engineer for the technology company, Chris Urmson, sat in the driver’s seat, but the car drove itself.
“We’re looking at science fiction becoming tomorrow’s reality,” Brown said just before signing the bill.
Google has been working on self-driving technology since 2010, including testing a fleet of self-driving cars along California roadways.
Google’s driverless cars rely on video cameras, radar sensors, lasers and a database of information collected from manually driven cars to help navigation, according to the company.
