RabbiDoracle: Two things happened this February 2022 which could decide the fate of the USD.
First, Biden will use confiscated Afghanistan reserve for aid relief to the people of Afghanistan and also using the fund to pay 9/11 victims.
Secondly, sanctions on Russian central bank preventing them from using dollar for transactions. And blocking some of their reserves.
What could go wrong?
Will other sovereigns think that their funds can be seized and they liquidate as fast as possible once there is any disagreement with US? Once this thought enters their heads, dollar will have a catastrophic fall because the holders of the US debt will have no other option than to sell.
Reviewing my target for Brent from $220 to $300. Don't expect a straight line rise.
Gold needs to rise till it gets to $4,500.
NSE ASI 100K target still remains.

Deadlytruth: Just found it now, and it is actually just an 8 point list I composed based on my over 2 decade experience on NSE. Here it is:
1. No stock is worth falling in love with for any reason whatsoever on earth as long as it is not your father's company.
2. Long term investment philosophy on NSE is pure suicide mission.
3. Take any momentary profit opportunity that falls on any stock in your portfolio regardless of how tiny the percentage is as long as it bellies your stockbroker's commission. Compared with staying on a stock for months and years hunting dividends, this practice actually gives you far more profit within a shorter time as it is a path of compound interest.
4. There is no particular or general winning formula on NSE. There might be such on NASDAQ, New York, London and others bourses, but not on NSE at least for now. Each individual devices his own from experience.
5. FA is very good compass, but as far as NSE is concerned, never rely excessively on it except foreing investors are fully present on NSE.
6. Play the game as you see it being played rather than as you think it should be ideally played. While a commitment to ideals is good, unfortunately reality is not dictated by it, else the world wouldn't be this terrible.
7. Always be on the lookout for the next news of takeover of an ailing company on NSE or indication of interest in it by a foreign investor, buy the stock, but never let the euphoria of the appreciation that follows make you buy a mattress for it. a current example being NIGERINS
8. Most importantly, approach investment on NSE exactly as Nigerian politicians approach politics. Have no permanent friends or enemies among the quoted companies. Only your permanent interest should matter to you which is to make profit hence if you are in a stock which is no longer sure of guaranteeing that interest of yours, defect to another one where that interest is likely to be most easily realizable within the shortest possible time going forward. Thanks my Oga,I really appreciate. |

safepaulooo: It's important to keep in mind the main source of earning for UCAP as an investment firm. VOLATILE MARKET. The huge returns gained in 2021 which is blowing up its share price currently, is from investment made in 2020 capitulation due to COVID wahala, unforgettable March 2020. How often does this occur? So don't expect UCAP to continue at current momentum. When market volatility is absent, UCAP remains quiet, but after a market crash it bounces up strong due to humongous gains from the crash. The more severe the volatility, the greater it's gains. So operate UCAP as a function of market crash and volatility. My 2 cents... emmanuelewumi: You will sell at N18. Those who sold at N9 because they have made a profit of 100% are still waiting for a pull back to N5. If you must sell this wonderful business, sell 30% or below but I won't advise you to sell everything (Better Advise) |

samguru: Guinness is crazily bullish this morning now at #66.50 Sell Guinness If you bought Guinness early this year when SAMGURU revealed some trading positions or at any price below 38, exiting now gives you a return of about 59%. Current price is 60.50 as investor sentiment grew on the back of the company’s return to profitability. 60.50 is a good sell price if you bought below 38. Technical chart shows the stock is at overbought levels and a bearish reversal could be imminent. This information is for trading investors only. If the intention is to hold long then Guinness is a good hold as we see new product lines and improved distribution channels that could further boost revenues. |

Foundwealth001: Thanks for your contributions. Like I mentioned, I introduced my brother to stock investment, he hasn't lost any money yet. He just wanted to rebalance his portfolio. He invests with the hope of being able to comfortably pays for his 3 kids, age 7, 5 and 3 years University education. I have being a fan of blue chip stocks from my high school days, hence I follow my objective. In years of fluctuations, I averaged down while my brother was just investing blindly with the hope of securing his kids University education. I'm not scared of being duped coz noone can dupe me for real. Any expert in portfolio re- construction is welcome. There would be no sharing of personal information. For me ,I will recommend you consult the services of some of our own Ogas like (Oracle,OGG,CP etc) that have proven that they are Good in this business. Because they said ,the devil you no is more than the angle you don't no. This guys have been helpful to most of us here.through their recommendations we have benefited so much, both in capital appreciation and dividends payment. Instead of looking elsewhere, where they will collect money from you in the name of consultation later you will find out that you are even more knowledgeable in stock than the person guiding you in the name of big investment firm. I suggest you look for away to reach out to this Ogas I mentioned above, they will guide you properly because they have proven their capabilities here and most people here invest in line with their predictions. |

Wapgod: N284.9 or N285 is the average of N290 and N280. I think the two separate sell mandates were joined and executed as one at the average price of the two separate mandates. they can never execute your sell mandate below your price limit but can be executed above your price limit. For those you want to sell at 280 as price limit can be sold above the limit while non of the one you place at 290 can never be executed unless the price get to the limit. There is nothing like average price as long as you place a price limit |
