If your loved one did not leave a will behind. You and your brothers will become administrators of his estate if you have brothers.

If you are only son, you need to process Letter of Administration (LA).

Lawyers usually prepare LA. It is advisable to use a lawyer in the same state that your loved one lived and died in.

You can also use Meristem. Compare what the 2 will charge you and use the one you can afford.

They will explain the process to you.

It could take months to process
Thank boss

why don't you go to the high court probate registry where he died and ask for how to go about it? You need medical certificate of death and at least 2 administrators. Forms need to be filled and official fees paid. They will put you through at the probate registry. You don't need a go between
I think this is the best idea.thanks

They can't transfer to you without a valid will from your loved one.

Without a will from your loved one, you will need a letter of administration.

Meristem probate services can assist you with the letter of administration and the transfer of the assets to the spouse, children and other relatives of your loved one
I am talking about my father,he doesn't have a will and I needed meristem probate services direct contact since they have refused to reply my mails or contact of any of their staff to know how they can assist me with letter of administration.

I equally saw a mail like that.
Think you should contact Meristem via email or phone call. It could be that they already have updated E-mandate form, but due to unlimited copies of the old one online, locating updated one might be a bit difficult.

Alternatively, visit Meristem website and see if you could download updated copy there.
Alright I will check thanks

I think the market is currently structured to preempt and encourage folks to sell/exit certain coys.
Whoever decides to sell off at a loss will likely later lament on their decision though.

...best to HOLD!

Some persons/entities have been quietly but strategically aligning with some KEY equity names.

"Between uncertainties, difficulties and failures is the many 'gift packs' from the stock market.

Yet down inside, are even more 'packs' of OPPORTUNITY."

Btw, if the news is eventually confirmed, then I'd like that name in bold.

Regards
The Central Bank of Nigeria increased monetary policy rate from 11.5% to 13%.

The CBN mentioned several reasons for this action - to rein-in inflation, reverse capital outflows, attract foreign investors, discourage government borrowing etc.

As expected, we saw some sell off in the market, as higher yields make fixed income investments more attractive than equity investments.

This might continue if the CBN gradually raise rate over the coming months.

This development is positive for banks though. With yields now rising higher than funding cost, we may see increased net interest income for banks with large low-cost deposits especially GTCO, UBA, FBNH, ACCESS and Zenith.

Look to banks that are currently undervalued, especially GTCO. (CSL)

We are pleased to announce that the Dangote Cement PLC (“Dangote Cement”, “DCP” or the “Issuer”) Series 2 Bond offer of up to NGN50 billion Tranche A, B and C 5, 7 and 10-year Fixed Rate Senior Unsecured Bonds, under its NGN300 billion Debt Issuance Programme is NOW OPEN and scheduled to close Monday, 11 April 2022.

Dangote Cement is Sub-Saharan Africa’s leading cement producer, with a combined capacity of 51.55Mta across the continent (35.25Mta in Nigeria). It operates a fully integrated “quarry-to-customer” business with activities covering manufacturing, sales and distribution of cement. Through its investments, the Issuer has eliminated Nigerias dependence on imported cement and has transformed the nation into an exporter of cement, serving neighbouring countries.

DCP has consistently reported robust operating and net profit margins compared to its peers in Sub-Saharan Africa and other jurisdictions. The Issuer also has a strong track record in the debt capital markets in Nigeria, having successfully issued an aggregate of NGN491 billion and NGN150 billion in Commercial Papers and Bonds respectively. The Issuer plans to utilize the net proceeds from the Series 2 bond issuance to fund expansion projects, refinance existing short-term debt, and for working capital requirements.

The price guidance for the Series 2 bonds are 11.35% – 11.85%, 11.85% – 12.35% and 12.50% – 13.00% for the Tranche A, B and C bonds respectively.

...HOLD!

A food for thought while at it...
Assuming you were given a life-changing nutritional health guide by a Doctor to take at least 2 strawberries for 3 months.

Week 1;
Strawberries sold for N200 and you could only afford to buy 2 of it.

Week 2;
For lack of funding, you could not buy any... plus, you worry about how the price of the fruit might soon go beyond your reach when seasonal constrain eventually create a supply-demand disequilibrium.

Week 3;
An unexpected window of opportunity comes up for you to buy enough strawberry when a certain supply line decided to sell off on their inventory position, perhaps to meet other ancillary needs.

What would you do?
Well, I will buy more strawberry!
That "supplier" might not have need for it at the time, but I do... it can be life-changing for me you remember!
Perhaps the amount of strawberries you can accumulate might just be what you need to see you through the rest of the week until the 90 days as set out by the Doctor.

A good fellow just sent me their YE, 2021 financial print. (ref: IB PLC)
Some may not see that the latest report is an improvement. They may focus only on the SPL and not see the fine lines in btw and elsewhere. wink cheesy cool
Hope they exit quickly, so value investment mongers can feast off from what is left before the time of reckoning.

"One of the cardinal qualities of reaping reward from the market is in the ability to know HOW to drive THROUGH the fears of other investors and WHEN to drive AWAY from their excitement.
...it sums up what should be the psychology of a wining investor !!"

CAVEAT: I naturally like strawberries. ...perhaps that likeness could be the reason for this input.
Due diligence still applies as always.
Thanks for your words of encouragement.have been your disciple since 1960 and have never regreted for one day.i don't joke with your predictions and (Oracle).I know that this may arise so I have planned to acquire more,as we await the Q1 result.once again thanks and remain blessed.
