I also think selling now is reasonable except if it is still going up. From dividend point of view. I bought at 116. Dividend yield at current is 16/284= 5% something, while dividend yield from zenith is still over 11% something. Selling and investing it in Zenith or any higher dividend yielding stock is not a bad idea.

Question is does it still have 20% to 30% appreciation coming or are we experiencing peak?
Yes nah, they have not done the last phase plus expected #16 dividends or more as predicted by expert.

I am feeling the price will be trading around #350- 400 soon in keeping with the management objective before embarking on share buy back.

Please it is not a buy recommendation DDD apply.

I was hoping so too.Any reason why you are selling
I thought they have two days to buy 170m units of the shares back .

why buying only 24m plus in a day or will they extend the remaining one longer.

Who knows when they will be buying their final tranche.i mean if there's any rule that says any company that is embarking on share buy back must complete it from so so period to so so period.

You that is planning to buy TRANSCORP at sub #0.90
Let wait and see.for me their last dividends payment is around 0.02.
When fund managers are looking for good dividends stock like dangotecement, zenith, etc
This time is dividends period.unless general bull appears like the one Oga Oracle is talking about, then it will move.

it will be very difficult for transcorp price to move to the FP based on d report except for speculation or general bull sha

What could has changed now that the price want to fly to the moon.has not released any current data neither has any good news come onboard that is giving rise to speculation.for me people should be careful.
Unless price movement in NSE is turn by turn, then I can say maybe na TRANSCORP time

Duration of exercise (the 2 days mentioned) will be dependent on the COMPLETION DATE.

...it's gonna be between Wed, 19 to Thursday, 20 January or when the entire trenche size (of 17,040,507,404) has been purchased; whichever comes earlier.
What this means is that the completion date might well come before or go beyond that 20th of January... unless the company decides to suspend further purchase (even without completion of target vol) given prevailing mkt condition at the time... and since repurchase exercise will be from the open mkt.

This exercise is Trenche II.
The 1st, Trenche I already bagged about 40.2M shares of Dangote Cement.

INFERENCE: The coys equity price might push up but there's need to tamper ones optimism with caution.[/font]
Repurchase exercise will likely be STRATEGIC.
...the 2 appointed brokers/MM (vetiva and meristem) may not go on a buying spree just for the sake of it!
They will likely do so applying "common sense in-between"

Selah
At what price do you think one need to tamper optimism with caution since we believe that the price will soar.

Remain blessed for all your selfless contribution.

Bua foods doing great so far.
But pls make i ask, wetin den dey sell?
I stay in Imo state and i just can't place an item in the market from Bua foods.
Yet they list 18billion shares and its just doing 10% daily.
Hmmm. This NSE abi na NGXGroup wetin una no dey tell us?
Na only Bua Foods, there are other companies in NGxGroup that are also confusing on how they make the extra ordinary profit they declare in every quarters of the year. Like me I don't understand the kind of business UCAP is running that is giving them the kind of profit they declare in every quarter as if to say we don't live in the same country and know how difficult it is to run such business.

Even those ones we understand their businesses very well they never declare such profit in keeping with the Outlook of Nigeria economy.

My Oga, you have good points though. However, I can assure you IF OIL price ever goes above $100, the US (arguably largest producer) will flood the market with their oil reserves and even pump more money to oil shale producers to start producing unconventionally. This will less than 6 month crash oil price as we recently witnessed.

From what the chart is saying, there is high probability that Nigeria market is likely to experience tough time from 2022. Market price may even rise to 50K...

Let me show you one more market breadth indicator (Advance and Decline - AD). See chart below, when AD line climax, price continue to rise, then price later falls in line with AD.

Ok.......but pls check first if there's "IMG" in your CSCS statement as advised.
If you see it there, then that's BOCGAS.
They recently changed name and I think I posted it here too.

BTW, I think it's very wrong for them to reply you that they're still busy with MTN offer.
What sort of BS is that?

If you can't find it, send mail straight to SEC, copy CSCS and copy them..........and see how they'll sort your issues out for you fast.

Nonsense and ingredients!!
I am pleased to inform you guys that they have finally credited my CSCS acct today.thanks for all the supports .remain blessed.

Nothing like IMG

Anyone that knows A. FAGBULU and His CSL Management team.should advise them to please restore back my account.
What I will do in their office from now till Wednesday if my account have not been restored, other brokers will be using it to train their staff in future.

they should either credit my money including the deducted commission to my account since it was not bought or having the purchased stock in my CSCS statement of account.

I don't know this type of FRUDLENT ACT.the conduct is likely to cause serious breach of peace .I have send them email no one is replying.when I call on phone one ifeoma said that they are still busy with MTN IPO that was reason they are unable to attend to my issue.

When you login to your account, go to your transactions to see if the purchase went through. If it is not there, it could mean that the price limit you selected was not met that day. The money might have been liened pending when the price limit is met.
But I checked,it showed filled on the order section of the platform and the quantity I indicated that I intended buying automatically disappeared at the bid section.

As I needed money and decided that I want to sell some small fractures to take care of my urgent needs that was when I discovered that CSL stockbroker has not credited my CSCS statement of account.

RabbiDoracle:
Warning: LONG POST grin

I have noticed lots of newbies asking questions on : what to buy, how to navigate the NSE, dividends, regulatory agencies (like SEC) and custodians (CSCS).

My simple advice is to read up all you can as fast as possible and arm yourself with knowledge of stock investing. We were once like you. You may not get everything by asking questions. You need to do you own research and be confident you did the hardwork.

Pick books on fundamental analysis (FA) and consume as fast as you can. Then learn Technical analysis (TA). A quick slice of both subjects : FA deals with understanding the company financial reports, management, news pertaining to the company. TA on the other hand deals with understanding how price moved in the past and how it is currently moving using several indicators. When you have quickly and fully grasped these, then you can understand where you want to put your money.

Many people will not tell you the truth, stock market can wipe you out very fast. If you are in doubt, ask those on the US stock market thread grin grin Many people may only tell you that stock market gives lots of gains, there can be losses as well. So when you see a market rising with rage, bullish on euphoria, remember that oneday things can turn sour. I was once as young as you were and had the belief that it can only rise. However the market showed that it can rise and it can fall at will.

"With every investment, one can become richer or wiser but never both" ~Unknown

Arm yourself with knowledge, when you fall pick up your pieces and stand. And keep moving! It is only with knowledge that you can survive in any investment product.

There is a global decline in all asset classes and many portfolios are hurting. My portfolio isn't having a dent because many of us foresaw this event and warned especially the US traders. When people say a bullish move will last forever, don't always listen to them. Always remember that there are seasons for everything. A season to plant and a season to harvest. However people prefer to listen to what makes them feel good and truly a bullish rage makes one feel good. But you should always trade those investment with caution especially when you entered in the late stage of the bull. Always have a balanced view(bull and bear scenario) of the market so that you will never be disappointed.

On a positive note, some tech stocks are about to bottom. Few Emerging markets have bottomed (won't name them). Some will have more pain. Some commodities will have more pain. However arming yourself with knowledge (in this case TA) will help you know when it is time to start entering into the market.

The next bullish phase in emerging markets, once it bottoms, will be an aggressive phase. As in very very aggressive. During that time, many people will start the bullish rant and lofty projections. Use your tongue to count your teeth when everyone on your street, church, school, market start investing.
