My fellow nairalanders I need your opinion on this one...I have been given Political Science& Public Admin to study in UNIBEN but I am a bit confused about what subjects to choose...I learnt there are some subjects with high and low course units and one has got to becareful when picking courses in order not to end up piling up the ones with low course units...Pls I await your kind words of advice to help me make good selections...thanx

the online clearance is the one we do on the uniben waeup kofa page after you have payed your clearance fee online you will be showed a page where you will scan and upload some specific documents,after which you will submit them to print out your clearance eligibility form which you will then take along with the hard original and photo copies of those documents you uploaded to uniben for submission physically for the "physical clearance" where they will be signed and stored.

okk...Is the online clearance something we can do on our own?I remember, during the post UTME registration, most of us came down to UNIBEN to do it..I don't know if the online clearance will demand we move down to UNIBEN too.

Let me advice you...Read other things but certainly not their past questions because they will never extract questions from there...I read the past questions when I was about writing the post UTME but nothing came out...it could sever as a guideline to prepare you for the exam though.Nothing morethan that...

yes,benue state is part of the ELDS . . If medicine's aggregate cutoff mark is 70 . . A candidate from benue with an aggregate of 55 will get medicine while a candidate of 69 from lagos,ondo and the rest western states won't be offered medicine.

Pls what's the meaning of the ELDS?Can you shed more light?

Here is a little secret...People use money to influence admission in some of these schools. My friend paid 70K to som1 in AAU, Ekpoma before his admission was made possible...Only a few schools will give it to you based on merit...They will even tell you in uniben not to pay money to anyone cos it won't help you except you work hard for it..Sometimes wrong subjects combination is responsible for one's failure to secure admission...Some states schools create chances for students who are willing to pay and I guess your friend must have taken advantage of that.

When they told me UNIBEN had a standard,I doubted it until I wrote their post UTME and passed.My jamb score was 208 and the sch's post UTME cut-off was 50% and I plucked 51%...When my score was pasted on my portal,I told a friend who's a 100 level student of AAU in ekpoma .He adviced me to runz it with money that the score was too low even though I passed the cut-off mark.He further added that UNIBEN won't take me with 51%. Shortly afterwards,I checked and I was given admission contrary to what he said.I paid no dime.I didn't sort any lecturer to help me out but my name came out on the first batch list...They also gave me my first choice with no hesitation...UNIBEN truly has a standard and free from all sorts of irregularities..All you need do is to study hard and earn yourself a place in UNIBEN... GREAT UNIBEN!!!
