I will be making this post into a list for easy
understanding... So let's get started.
1. Read and Re-Read the document provided
by the school until it is understood before
taking action.
2. You will no longer be using the username
and password you used for your application
and result checking, you are to take note
of your new student credentials(Username
and password) once you are logged in. You
will henceforth use your new Id and
password to login to your student record,
only then will you be able to print out your
admission letter.
3. Make sure you use a computer when
making payments, do not claim you are a big
boy using android phone that has 4g to make
payments.
4. Once you have made payment, ensure you
copy your "clearance activation code" . It
is very important, that's why I advice you use
a pc, because sometimes the page might not
pop up if you are using a mobile phone and
please do not rush and close tab on your
browser.
5. I hope we all know the meaning of "And"
and "Or".... Where it is stated you should use
"And", it means you use both, but where you
are required to use "Or". You use just the
one that is available with you. Why i said this
is because of the first item= “O’ level
Certificates and Statements of ‘O’ level
results from the schools. I will advice we
wait when the portal is open to begin, you
will all know what to upload there.
6. Still confused on what guarantor and
acceptance letter looks like Click here=
Samples . Note: It must be typed, not
handwritten and signed where appropriate.
7. You can get your affidavits sworn in any
court of law in Nigeria for a small token.
8. You can save your form at the bottom of
the page and get back to it if you do not have
all the required details. Do not save and
request clearance when you are not done
please. You cannot edit the Clearance /
Eligibility Form after final submission.
9. Heed to instructions, take a passport with
red background.
10. Get a WAEC/NECO scratch card to present
to the clearance officials for result checking.
Please do not scratch it yourselves.
11. Always remember to check your
clearance date in your online profile so as not
to miss the day you are supposed to be
cleared.
12. College of Medical Sciences are to pay
N65,000 while other candidates are to pay
N45,000 for their acceptance fee.
13. You are not going to any bank please, you
are to use a verve card or mastercard for
payments, that's why it is called "online
clearance".
14. The Online clearance can be done in any
cyber cafe in Nigeria, it is not that difficult at
all, it is a very easy program that you can do
yourself, just that if it were to be a cyber cafe
at school, the operators of the cafe already
know what to do and the right document to
upload since they have been familiar with it
over the years but be careful who you
disclose your card pin to
15. Well, if you have gone through the
instructions given in the doc, you will see
there is no deadline stated, but it is advisable
you do the online clearance on time, so you
will be able to start the physical clearance at
the appointed time to avoid confusion
With this information, I wish you a stress
free clearance, I am sure I missed out some
important things too, you can signify to let
me know or add yours to the list. And any

..I will advice you do it in the school to be on the safe side...it's an online clearance and the business centers on the school premises will help you to handle it.

2014/2015 CLEARANCE EXERCISE FOR PART-TIME/SANDWICH/DIPLOMA CANDIDATES

1. The PART-TIME/SANDWICH/DIPLOMA candidates admitted into Universityof Benin for 2014/2015 academic session are required to login at http://www.uniben.edu, click waeup portal with the PART-TIME/SANDWICH/DIPLOMA username and password used for their application and result checking.

2. Click on “Download application slip”. Print it and take note of your ID and Password. You will henceforth, use your ID and Password for subsequent login. Login and print your provisional admission letter.

3. ONLY CANDIDATES WITH THE RIGHT PASSPORT SIZE (1-inch X 1-inch) WITH RED BACKGROUND PHOTOGRAPH USED FOR THE PART-TIME/SANDWICH/DIPLOMA APPLICATION ALREADY EMBEDDED IN THEIR DOCUMENTS & WITH REQUISITE RESULTS TO CLEAR SHOULD PROCEED TO PAYTHE TOTAL AMOUNT OFNON-REFUNDABLE ACCEPTANCE FEE ITEMIZED BELOW.

6. Select from the Payment Category, Acceptance Fee and click on “Create Ticket” button and then click the link under Payment ID.

7. Click on the “College Pay” button to view payment details and click the “Submit” button to proceed with the payment through Interswitch payment gateway.

8. Select your ATM Card type: Verve or Master Card and supply the card details (card number, expiration date, 4-digit PIN etc) as required.

9. Then click on “PAY” button.

10. If payment is successful, an acceptance slip will appear on the screen. Copy the “Clearance Activation Code” on the acceptance payment slip.

11. Click on “My Data” on the menu and select “Clearance data”option. Enter your “Clearance Activation Code”to open yourClearance/Eligibility form.

12. Fill the Clearance/Eligibility Form appropriately. Scan and upload the following documents:

a. ‘O’ level Certificates and ‘O’ level Statements of results from schools
b. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
c. Acceptance Letter
d. Guarantor’s Letter

f. Affidavit of Non-Membership of Secret Cults

At the bottom of the Clearance/Eligibility Form, click on the “Save”button to return later and complete the form ORclick on “Save and request clearance” button to finally submit your Clearance/Eligibility Form when you are done. It was recently they separated the two courses. They should have notified u guys. It was a friend who is in Pol sci & public admin told me that the two courses has been separated. They are now pol sci department and Public admin department with new H.O.D for pub admin. But I wonder how they are going to go about it for those that prefer pol sci to pub admin.

...Any which way sha...I will always opt for Pol Sci any day, if they've actually been seperated...

Reason best known to the sch why you were given just Pub Admin..I have scrolled through courses in Social science and management sciences and seen that some of these merged courses can still be offerred seperately...I'm sure Pub Admin is what you have on your portal...But I've got a question 4 you...Did your name come out in the first batch list or it came out in the supplementary list?

money in your first three weeks - and you won't even know
what you did with the money.
5. Some will get cleared in a day, some few days, some one
week, some one month or even two months.
6. You stand a chance of being cleared if you fall under
the first 40 on the daily list; this means you will be at the
auditorium by 4am.
7. You may as well snob the auditorium scramble by waiting
for it to be moved to the faculties.
8. You better not get your original certificates defaced,
squeezed or torn in the name of clearance mad-rush.
9. If you get to fill a correction form as a result of
discrepancy in date of birth or name, you will need a lot
of patience while you wait (for at least 1 month) but be at
peace and have no fear. I have been there.
10. You will need money in a reasonable quantity for
several minor registerations, record files, cratch cards,
photocopying etc.
11. No amount of passport is too much; you will need them
throughout 100L and even for other non-academic
applications. If they remain, carry them to 200L!

joining the initial scramble there if you are sick.

I have always wondered if LOVE will ever gain its sight again since they always say it is blind.
