eyeview:Very correct bro. Not surprised they made more than 50% of the list. Yet the President has made more appointments from the north insisting they are most qualified, less corrupt and more trustworthy and I kept asking myself wtf?. Anyway, people here are complaining, it is important to point out here that 1.The bulk of Dasuki money was shared during Campaign to ensure that Jonathan wins his second tenure in office. This has been d recent trend in Nigeria politics so Jonathan should not take the blame alone. Our politicians dig hand into government coffers to sponsor their elections unlike other developed countries where money is raised by supporters to sponsor their candidates. 2. The previous election in Nigeria according to reports was the most expensive election held in the country, both parties APC and PDP spent millions of dollars in sponsorships. It could be recalled that APC employed the services of a USA firm that ran Barack Obama's campaign and contributed to his winning the election. PDP also did same, they also employed the services of a foreign firm. Both parties spent so much in campaign with APC having the lead. 3. While we know that this sponsorships came from government coffers, APC used there money judiciously while some high ranking PDP officials diverted the already diverted money into their private use. One of the many reasons Jonathan loosed his election. If he won that election, Nigerians will not know just like his predecessors how much was looted. This is where I still have some regards for him. 4. Finally, instead of persecuting just Jonathan, we should be clamouring for an Independent body to investigate all Jonathan predecessors and the APC too. Where do they get the money so big to spend more than a sitting president and yet nobody is talking about it. This guys do not love us, forget the pretense in d name of saints singing change. |
We don't need your ranking. Lift the ban on Nigeria so we can use patpypal to make withdrawals |

Haba, dats too much na. Judge, cant u see dat dis is an act commited out of hunger. If the guy is seriously a criminal, y risk his life for indomie and rice. Someone will steall billions and get 6months and a useless fine. Send him 3 years and you will get a hardened criminal after dat. Please our criminal justice system should be reviewed seriuously. God help us oo. |
Radical islamism or extrimists as usual.....still waiting for d news on radical christianism |
But i keep wondering, which kind of expenses do someone makes in a day dat he had to keep a million in his bedroom, not to talk of 12million and wtf is 300 million....God save us from our politicians ooo |
chysam:A sane person trying to compare murder between cultists(People that have decided not to be useful) and murder between faith and religion ( Avenue to reach ones God and a symbol of peace). I see clearly your analysis. Thanks for the analysis by the way. |
Sweetlemon:When things like dis happens..people do not make ambigous statements. Mr. President is the last person i expect such an ambigous statements from. Even you is saying is a two way thing, the first way is that the killers should have respected her faith and not murder her. The second one i guess which u failed to mention is that the the woman should not have committed blasphemy on Prophet Mohammed right. Yet he failed to condemn the murder which is no excuse at all. Its just that Christians are not voilent, if not we go on rampage and then blame radical christianism den wait for anoda press statement for the president to ask us to respect muslims. Continue killing, this one is just one out of the many murdered so far. Call a spade a spade.Blasphemy indeed. |
omoyemirally:I am disappointed with your statement. But nevertheless read the comments again and piont out any insult u see dia. Dis is a multireligious country and the other religions expected better. I am a christian and I am expecting my President to give me assurance of my safety. Till now, even in his press statement released by Adesina which came late. Mr. President never critised or condemned directly the act of murder under the muslim and dis has occured severally in dis country. What is respect others religion, that is an ambigous statement in relation to the event. Call a spade a spade. Recalled dat the Lady in question was taken to the market leader and still they showed no mercy. The impression i have now and i believe some people have as seen in the posts u called insults is that Murder is actually tolerated in islam. Non of the top Nothern leaders have condemned dis murder, even d emir of kano, i tot he is enligthened ![]() |
U are saying condemn, read the speech very well. No atom of condemnation is dia. The speech is more like a condolence to the victim and a praise to the Nigerian Police force and Kano state government. Then, urging the people not to take laws into their hands. I am disappointed the president cannot condemn the act of killing in the name of religion. |
While reading through the comments two things struck me 1. I have not seen those people who always shout kill them all when issues of Probiafran agitations is raised. Come out and defend the reason behind this insolence 2. When terror like this happens, i always hears words like radical islamism, please why have i not heard of radical islamism. My people, this is the practical example of the country we live in: Event 1: Nigerian Police force and Nigerian army kills scores of probiafran protesters, many more injured. Plenty others arrested instantly and yet to be released or charged to court. Some arrests where later made in church a sacred place for christians. Reason for the Murders by Police force: Self defense. Event 2: Armed angry youths decapitates a woman of Igbo extraction and was ready to do the same to the husband. Nigeria police force storms and made disperses all. No single arrest was made immediately. Thank God for the media. It would have been swept under the carpet as usual. Reason for the murder of the woman: Blasphemy on Holy Prophet Mohammed. Please someone should explain this particular act of wickedness to a particular group and you keep saying they have no right to agitate. |
A trailer loosed brake and hit another trailer resulting to a series of collision. Thank God there was no life loss but some motorists sustained various forms of injuries. It could be recalled that this road was commisioned in 2001 under President Olusegun Obasanjo and since then, it has been commisioned and recommissioned. Untold agony, traumatic traffic snarls, incidents of fuel fire caused by tankers are the ordeals of those who ply the tortuous portion of the road. It is a major road. The goods coming to the West from the North are always transported with articulated trailers through the road. Such goods include beans, tomatoes, carrots, cattle and poultry, among others. Tanker drivers are among the major users of the road that links the northern and western parts of the country. Frequent accidents involving them had sent many people to their graves prematurely and disabled others. The road witness atleast 3 accidents on a weekly basis. We appeal to the government to do something fast about this road.

kropotkin2:You are correct bro. They will not do that cos they are more educated, enlightened an d not as stupid as bokoharam. But when the whole pipelines is blown up and the country is broke with total darkness. U and ur govt we have a rethink. |
