boldinc: Thanks @boldinc. I got the mail from HR declining my request for CIC format. I feel safer going with the plain paper supervisor letter and employment/promotion letters route. I really appreciate ate your input on this. Thanks and God bless. My our canny dreams come true 5 Likes |

SlowlybtSurely: I'll ask my supervisor if He is authorized by the company to use letter head papers and if he can tale the pain for me. Possibly the only that can work out and if not, i do the plain paper/notary public with other documents. I appreciate all inputs on this matter. I'll certainly update with the route i decide on. @behati.. Thanks. I saw the gt bank case. Crazy stuff. But there was a hint of attempted misrepresentation from that. Gracias |

boldinc: Thank you very much Sir. I already have the letter headed paper and i was going to draft the supervisor letter on that. I was also going to add the business card of my supervisor too. Only thing is i got a scare from a colleague who said CIC would be aware that my company does not give such letters and that if i try to satisfy them by giving the letter as requested, it might come across to them as fraudulent and doctored. But i'll go ahead with it as it has worked for you. Many thanks and very much appreciated. |

Hello house. I appreciate the constant help provided in here but i'm here with some fresh dilemma. This is regarding the work experience letter. My company HR declined my request for the letter saying they do not issue such. Please what can i do? I have my employment letter and duty change memos which carry my Job Title which i claimed NOC points for. I also have my payslips which indicate the department i worked. My company HR issued a generic introduction letter which only mentions that i'm a staff, date i joined and my annual salary on letter head. My thoughts are to get my supervisor at work to sign a letter written in CIC requested format NOT ON COMPANY LETTERHEAD PAPER. If i get it attested and notarized can it fly? Please i need your opinions elders in the house. Many thanks. |

Hi guys. I just entered the EE pool with a score of 433. I have some questions boggling me which i require help with and any opinions will be welcome and appreciated. I don't know if i'm posting this in an appropriate thread so if i'm not, my apologies please. My questions are as follows: 1. I interviewed at US embassy in 2012 for a (DV) diversity visa lottery as a beneficiary to a principal applicant. Even though i wasn't asked any questions, i ran my bio-metrics. The principal applicant was found ineligible on the grounds of not meeting minimum education or labor requirements. When filling the schedule A form, must i answer YES to the question of having been denied a visa to another country before? 2. My second question is regarding previous marriages. As the US consular office has my records of being a beneficiary to a visa applicant, i have to state that i have a previous marriage in form IMM0008DEPENU. I entered the EE pool with a different spouse which raises my question. Must i have marriage annulment or divorce papers for the previous relationship? I ask because i read that the Canadian laws frown upon polygamy and bigamy. |

Hi guys. I have a pressing question which i need opinions on. I interviewed as beneficiary to a us dv lottery applicant which was refused back in 2012. Must i answer yes to having being denied a visa before? It confuses me because i wasn't the principal applicant then as such, my name was not on the refusal letter. Any input will be appreciated. If it helps, the refusal was on grounds of ineligibility. |
