Shimbo96: Aregbe, Fayemi and the fake FAYOSE and co can't even win their polling unit not to talk of winning their local government. Let that comment slide bro, there is enough buckets for their tears after 2027 election.
Let all those who support irresponsible government in Nigeria because of tribalism only to run back to America can now stay back in Nigeria and enjoy the useless president or government that they supported.
No more America .
Nigeria is not even in the top 10 H1B holders in America.

The Ga Traditional Council has raised alarm over a planned event titled “2025 Igbo Day in Ghana/New Yam Festival” scheduled for Sunday, 21st September 2025, at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park.
According to the Council, the event, organized by Eze Dr. Amb. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu, could disturb peace and security within the Ga State.
Referring to a previous press release issued on 9th July 2025, the Council reminded the public that the said individual had already been cautioned against holding traditional and cultural festivities under the guise of importing Igbo culture into Ga land.

H-1B fee of $100,000 is not a one time fee. It is $100,000 per year, every year. H-1B is dead. They might as well end it formally. The annual cost for applies to both new applications and renewals. $100,000 Non-Refundable Fee and Payable upon application, even if the visa is denied
US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Friday that requires companies to pay $100,000 annually, for every foreign worker brought under the H-1B visa, up from about $1,000 at present – a 9,900% increase.
President Donald Trump signed an executive action on Friday to impose a $100,000 application fee for H-1B visas — in an effort to curb what his administration says is overuse of the program.
“We need great workers, and this pretty much ensures that that’s what’s going to happen,” Trump said from the Oval Office, where officials detailed how the measure would incentivize companies to employ American workers while still providing a pathway to hire highly skilled foreign workers in specialized fields.
The proclamation will restrict entry under the program unless accompanied by the payment.
In a separate order, Trump also directed the creation of a “gold card” immigration pathway that he said would fast-track visas for certain immigrants in exchange for a hefty fee. The policy will expedite visas for foreigners who pay the US $1 million, while allowing a company to pay $2 million to speed up the process for a foreign worker that it sponsors.
The moves mark the latest in a series of efforts from the administration to crack down on immigration and place sharp new limits on the types of foreigners allowed into the country. They threaten to significantly impact industries that depend heavily on H-1B workers.
The H-1B visa is a work visa that’s valid for three years and can be renewed for another three years. Economists have argued the program allows US companies to maintain competitiveness and grow their business, creating more jobs in the US.
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told reporters on a call Friday evening that the administration came to the fee of $100,000 per year, plus vetting costs, after talking with companies.
He noted that the payment structure is still under discussion with the Department of Homeland Security, in terms of “whether we’re going to charge the $300,000 up front or $100,000 a year for the three years.”
Trump’s stance on the H-1B visa program has fluctuated, and the issue has sharply divided his supporters at times.
The president restricted access to foreign worker visas during his first term and has targeted the H-1B program in past remarks – but during the 2024 campaign, he signaled openness to giving some foreign-born workers legal status if they graduated from a US university.
Trump also defended the program last December, telling the New York Post that he’s “a believer in H-1B.”
advocatejare: He has accepted Wike to be his boss and leader. He shouldn’t have bitten the hands that fed him in the first place. Where were those cheering him to be fighting Wike, when he was suspended ? They all disappeared and made him lose 6 whole months from his tenure.
The State assembly members he didn’t want to work it, he has no choice than to work with them now same with the LG election he didn’t want to conduct as Wike wanted has now being conducted while he was on suspension.
In the end, Fubara is the sole loser in this issue. People should learn from his mistakes!
If Tinubu had not jumped in, the RSHA would have successfully impeached him and heaven will not fall. He came out a better man after the 6 months. A penalty not too much to pay than become politically irrelevant.
Orokojasper: With this broadcast,Fubara has become enemy of some who hitherto said he is the best thing after jollof rice, they will henceforth call him so many names and tag him a coward....Just watch out.
Those people dont matter in the scheme of things. They have no electoral value.
Kingpele: One thing I have come to appreciate south east ,is that no former governor dare challenge a sitting governor without a bleeding nose but then let peace reign
Must be why Peter Obi got a bleeding nose when he tried to become Godfather in Anambra.
ariesbull: But Scott isn't Igbo ! Is it that you guys are daft and stupid that you can't differentiate Middle Belt name, Ijaw Names and Edo name from Igbo name
ariesbull: I can't remember calling Igbo Here... You have demonstrated the tribalism in most of you guys and also we are talking about Lagos and not abuja
Scott isn't an Igbo man but from Edo or middle belt but not an Igbo for sure and I think he is right about the Yoruba to an extent
muyico: At Ibadan here,Igbo don buy all ours lands finished, if they die here, they bury dem here, why most Igbo no build house for dey re father land again??
With the likes of Gentle da yahoo and other I.P.O.B merchants of death, the region is now very dangerous to live in.
And the bolded is not true Sha. Even dangote has more lands in Lagos than all ibos in the SW combined together. In addition, for all lands in Nigeria, the state government owns it permanently. What people with Certificate of occupancy have is just a lease valid for a few years.
ariesbull: It's only in Yoruba igbo land that I saw a landlord saying in clear terms they will not rent house to a certain people of a certain tribes
You mean Anambrans dont rent houses to Ebonyi people.
