These are landlocked countries and amount of smuggled goods that enter Nigeria from those points are much less than from Benin Republic. They dont have ports to bring in rice that will end up in Nigeria. And it doesn't make economic sense to transport smuggled goods from Benin to Chad/Niger and then into Nigeria. PhD was not required to be a Professor in University before, after your Masters and prescribed numbers of journal articles plus numbers of service years. Many old professor doesn't have PhD.
