3 people liked this comment!! 3 people who should be banned from thinking as they are dangerous to human advancement!!

Just look at the rubbish he wrote claiming to be smart in his pants. So having an opinion about the state of the nation and expressing it openly is not a civil right?!! How did citizens of north Korea and Iran get access to a Nigerian forum?!!
Kuku my good lad, you are just entertaining yourself with all these ramblings. Do you think you are impressing anyone? Ehn??

As I told one of your colleagues, you have to engage intelligently if you wish to communicate.

Is there any place where I've said anyone should not have an opinion? Do you know the distinction between expressing an official position as an official who led an official visit to the president as the leader (or a recognized leader) of an organization, and a single individual expressing his opinion on his own behalf, even from the pulpit as many others have done? Has anyone of the many preachers who expresses their opinion from the pulpit ever been question over their involvement in state matters? You still can't see the distinction ehn?

Lol. Good of you. Oya shake ya nyash some more.

Except that your video does not say the EFCC does not have a Court Order! It merely says "we don't need one for 72 hours." I'm sure you would agree these are not in any way equivalent statements. Or wouldn't you??

And as I've further pointed out to you, when you ask which Court order the President was referring to, the answer is: the one of 5th August 2026. Now, if you want more details, such as the name of the Court, the name of the judge, the venue the Court sat it, I would advise you to leverage your rights under the Freedom of Information Act, by writing to the EFCC or the Presidency, alternatively, to get this info.

That's why I don't watch this TVC. They are usually very dumb. Look at the banner. Should clerics be involved in political matters? Really?
You had a Pastor Osinbajo as your VP
You had a Deacon Adesina as Special adviser
Even now, you've appointed Pastors as Efcc chairman, FIRS chairman, Ministers, etc
Even the Bishop they are interviewing is a political appointee cheesy
Governors on your party platform are pastors yet a dumb media outfit is asking if clerics should be involved in political matters
TVC don't even rate their zone Bees
You are mixing simple issues. "Should clerics be involved in political matters in their office as clerics?" is different from "Should clerics be allowed to hold political office as individuals who also happen to be clerics?". The first question examines whether the clerical office itself should intervene in politics. The second asks whether personal religious activities disqualify a person from the exercise of civil rights. I think the distinction is so obvious that you must know this already but merely choose to ignore it.

For me disappointed is an understatement, if the spokeperson of Effcc admit live on arisetv Efcc act splely on the constititional power they can freeze for 72hrs becos advancing for court order and they still have time on that program

i dont get n you are still arguing ...watch the video on arisetv and shut the hellup man ! what effront

https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1LbB2SoGim/
LMAO do you think it's by frothing at the lips? No sir, you have to do more than that. Be intelligent in your submissions.

Now, the EFCC chairman has told you they have the power for 72 hours before they need a Court order. Now, if you're thinking logically, it means, the initial unilateral action is just a temporary measure to stop the drainage while they pursue a court order for a longer term effect.

Thus, it is obvious to any right thinking individual that even if the initial freezing was made unilaterally, there must have been a subsequent order seeking a permanent freeze on the account , otherwise, the freezing would be nugatory from the very beginning.

Put on your thinking cap na.

The president even told you the specific date of the court order, being 5th August. So why all this aimless, directionless, lack of understanding driven rantings of yours? Ehn mister man? cheesy

Relax and let those who understand give reasonable comments to guide others.

The wuestion is which court did the president ask Efcc to vacate ?? simple n direct

which is this question sancrosanct, it is becos none of the parties involve at anytime claimed Court order was involved, not Zenith, not the governor and not the EFCC acting infacr efcc spokeperson that went to Arisetv admitted they are acting without court order

And lets be sincere, an adage says a leaf will not fall from the tree nd god. will not know about it
KnowingNigeria president .... can efcc witchhunt a sittin governor days to election nd president knows nothing about it

can a state commissioner openly disrespect a Governor, no consequence and the presidemt is awarre

Yoruba adage say, where a oppressor is beating somrone. and messiah stand looking kindly know ns him send am

the unfreezing is just to defend Tinubu later on after the rigging .. they will answer critics Tinubu unfreeze osun account that is enough proof he is neutral, infact Tinubu is the 1st democratic president to rescue opposition. nigerians owe him praises for such herioc move.

Remember All is fair in politics
I'm surprised you people are so fixated on this Court order of a thing. For an agency like the EFCC, court orders are routine. A mere call to a Judge will get that because it is a routine matter brought on an ex-parte basis which can be heard in chambers if the Court wishes. I bet you before Monday you will have seen the said order. Whether obtained appropriately or inappropriately, you and I will never be able to tell so this makes it a total non-talking point.

Politics › Re: ADC To Tinubu: Which Court Order Did You Direct EFCC To Vacate? by SmartyPants(m): 9:01am On Aug 07
ADC is a rookie political party, thus having seized upon a clever observation, undermined it by attempting to milk it dry.

Their statement points out two points that appear complimentary but are actually contradictory:

a. That the president claims these agencies are independent
b. That the president's response is not organic and only flows out of sustained public outrage

Putting these together clearly then means that the president, recognizing the independence of the EFCC refused to act until the matter became a threat to Nigeria's peace and democracy, and in response to the outcry of the public that he serves, stepped in as a last resort to preserve the rule of law. This resolves the matter as a responsible demonstration of restraint and leverage of executive influence only as a last resort.

ADC should also note that when it comes to prosecution, there is no such thing as an independent body. They all are subject to the direction of the Attorney General who has the exclusive and absolute power to discontinue any criminal proceedings without exception.

Hence, much ado about absolutely nothing.

it is the government both federal, state and local governments duty to provide for its people
The government has no such duty. The funds of the government belong to all of us, thus a government that makes a policy of providing for some and not all citizens will soon find itself facing demands it cannot meet. This is common sense. However, if you are you unable to agree then at least accept that "duties" are a function of laws and no law says the government must provide you with tools for your business. Finally at least be reasonable enough to understand that the point is not what the government owes or doesn't owe but rather that you have no right to abuse a road that belongs to all of us.

Why are you people so okay with billions being looted than spent judiciously on the people? What is the collective wealth for if not things like providing in large scales for farmers?
Rather than rant, why not answer the simple question I asked?

A. After providing tools for every single farmer, why should the government stop there? Won't they build factories for you and I to process the agricultural goods? Won't they buy trucks for you and I to operate logistics businesses to transport the goods?

Love to hear your thoughts.

B. And since the government has refused, isn't it a good idea for us to vandalise all available public utilities to solve our individual desires? You can vandalise the roads while I vandalize the street lights to support my iron condemn business. While Seun can take the electric poles as his own share.

Wouldn't you agree?

Don't reply me without answering both questions.

Whats wrong with that when the road is not in use.......did the govt provide him with agro processing equipment to dry and grind his cassava........this is a practice that has been in existence since I can remember and it most likely is just about the quantity the poor farmer wants to consume with his family.
Can you apply that reasoning at scale? Okay, the government should provide every farmer with agro processing equipment. From our collective Commonwealth right? Then should it not provide everyone of us with the tools we need for our work as well? And since the government has not provided all of us with the tools we need, why don't we all proceed to vandalise every available public utility for our convenience? Perhaps the dry cleaner too can make use of the road to dry his clothes since the government has not provided him driers.

The black man is truly unlike any other race in thinking patterns.

Until you can prove involvement in internet fraud, it's best to mind your own business. Secretly selling his property is certainly not your business.
Have you asked her how she knows he is a yahoo boy? You jumped to the conclusion that she was jumping to her own conclusion. And it's not a crime anyone to tell a story without mentioning names. And it's not a crime not to mind her business either but in any case, since the story directly involves her and conversation she was directly involved in, it is indeed her business. Forum Games › Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by SmartyPants(m): 10:48am On Jul 12

Shape 2 is the only large red square with a black border (setting the standard baseline).
Shape 3 is the only shape without a black border.
Shape 4 is the only green shape.
Shape 5 is the only circle.

Shapes 2, 3, 4, and 5 all have a special, single feature that makes them stand out.

Shape 1 shares features with all of them (it is red, it is a square, it has a black border) but lacks any single rule-breaking trait of its own. Being completely "ordinary" makes it the true odd one out.
Partially sound reasoning with a wrong conclusion.

Figure 1 is clearly smaller than every other shape measured vertically. Goes without saying that this makes it odd.

Figure 2 is the only one that is not odd by any of the rules.

Note that you are making a category error when you compare large red squares alone. You are to compare on the basis of rules that apply to all the figures at once.
