UncleAyo:
Let's start from you. Is your religion the religion of your parents?
That's not a logical response. I alone cannot make or unmake a rule, so this is a mere deflection. What is a fact is that there is a statistical population of converts that makes your bold assertion obviously untrue.
Celebrities › Re: There Is A Quest To Islamize Nigeria And It Is Happening Slowly - Verydarkman by SmartyPants(m): 7:32am On Jun 07
UncleAyo:
The religion you're currently claiming is the religion of your parents, if you were born into a different family of another religion (say Hinduism), that is the exact religion you will practice.
This is obviously untrue, as a statistically significant number of converts exist, particularly converts to Christianity.

Not surprising at all. A project flagged off for 1.2 trn in an election year? Do you know what that means? Lol.

I would still hit that ass tho, nicotine addition, attitude problems, lifetime airline ban and all grin

Me coming from a country ravaged with bandits on a beheading rampage, and a government which isn't much different from those bandits, I don't think I have the moral leverage to judge her..

If the major problem we have in this country, is beautiful young girls having nicotine additions and being silly, this country will be a paradise.
Your reasoning actually explains the reason we have the problems we have in this country. Someone breaks the rules and causes a massive cleaning problem for an airline and you reduce that to nicotine addiction, as if her nicotine addiction was the issue, not her chain smoking in prohibited areas.

That's the Nigerian problem: a willingness to excuse every evil under the sun provided one can benefit in some way, without any regard for the common good.

The good news is that you will never smell that poo poo infested nyash of hers even in your wildest konji driven hallucinations.

What a glorious day!
Politics › Re: Biafrans Burnt My Mother Alive; I Joined Nigerian Army For Revenge - Rose Bassey by SmartyPants(m): 10:46am On Jun 06
Razzness:
Denying the Asaba massacre is just wild, when the vast majority of the victims were women and children demonstrating their support for Nigeria.
The Asaba massacre definitely occured but the direct victims were men not women and children. On that day residents gathered en masse to welcome the Nigerian troops, to show that they meant no harm. The Nigerian troops separated the men from the women and killed the men.

The women were reportedly molested over several days. The entire incident was a sordid stain on the history of the nation, however it is important to get your facts right. The direct victims were largely men.

Lanruze:
I am a devout Redeemer.

It's an affront on common sense if Pastor Enoch Adeboye denies not participating in the protest against insecurity in Nigeria.

The videos are all over YouTube and other SM platforms.

Baba even carried a mini-placard.

Next gist abeg.
They have not told you he did not carry placard. They have told you the said placard carrying incident occured during Buhari's tenure and not Goodluck Jonathan's as widely spread by notorious ethnic jingoists.

Now, to avoid affronting common sense yourself, you may share the video that proves the incident occured while GEJ was president.

Not only do I live in lagos, I practice law here. What is rather obvious is that you seem to understand 'criminal laws' to mean being free of crime. That is wrong.

When we talk about Lagos being ahead we in terms of criminal laws, we are talking progress adoption of principles considered to be global best practices. For instance Lagos was among the first states to adopt the Administration of Criminal Justice Act of Nigeria, the first to institute a Restorative Justice Centre, Domestic Violence Agency and many others.

Philosopher1979:
Well, it depends. If it is an engineering or IT firm the engineering graduate will be preferred. I mean that's a science job and do if mtn needs network engineers a 2 1 in engineering will be preferred. They need someone to do technological stuff for them. Get it. It is how what you know can be used by the organization not just the fact that you got first class
You said it depends, but you've still not mentioned the sort organization that would prefer a 1st class public admin guy over a 2:1 (or even 2:2) engineer. Let's move away from STEM fields - banking for example. Do you think a bank would prefer a public admin grad over an engineer?

Let me simplify the question: how many CEOs in any field do you know with a public admin degree? Do you want to compare that with the number of CEO's of huge publicly listed companies who are either from engineering or law backgrounds?

Maybe I'm going too far. You be the one to tell us what we don't know abouot public admin grads.

This reply shows you are absolutely ignorant and just open these threads for cruise. A presumably sane person saying first class in pub admin is more valuable that 2.1 in law. Lol. Not sure you even know what the gates of a university look like, because no one that has gone through the university system will ever utter such nonsense.

Seun! Such a shame.

Someone with a First Class in the courses listed above has access to more opportunities than someone who has 2.1 or 2.2 in a professional course like Law or Engineering.

When i see youths, especially Obidients, take sides between the likes of Amaechi, Wike and Fubara, their little son, I laugh for hours. These are all family members that know how to whine your navel at will. Ironically, the best of them is Wike because Wike is true and loud to whatever he represents unlike Amaechi the chameleon and Fubara the bambiala.

Travel › Re: 10 Things You Should Know About Enugu by SmartyPants(m): 11:48am On May 16
Rapmoney:
I spent about 10 years working in Enugu as a project manager in the education sector, and during my 10 year-professional journey, I learnt certain things about the town. This can help you towards planning if you want to relocate to Enugu.

1. Traffic Laws: Traffic laws are very strict in Enugu. You dare not park your car by the side on a major road. You dare not beat traffic lights positioned in almost all parts of the town. If you do, your vehicle will be towed to MOT office or you pay huge fines. Dem nor dey hear 'Abeg'.

2. Relaxed Attitude: The people have a relaxed attitude. They don't rush when doing things. It is common for people to sit in a town-service bus for more than 30 minutes in Enugu, waiting for passengers to fill the bus. My first year in Enugu was uncomfortable because it is something different from what I was used to in Warri. You do not see people rushing to work in the morning, even bankers. Everyone seems to do it slow slow.

3. Peacefulness: Enugu is one of the most peaceful towns in Nigeria. During my 10-year stay, I did not hear or witness any inter-communal clash or anything similar. In fact, I really did not see anyone fighting publicly, except verbal clashes (quarrelling) on few occasions.

4. The Women: Enugu has the most beautiful women in Nigeria. It is only closely followed by Owerri. Out of every 10 young women you see, 6 would be pretty, and the rest might actually look presentable. My neck and my head had a quarrel the first day I landed in Enugu. My neck said my head was stressing it too much, because of the constant turning and looking. As a man, you need to be focused or else, you will get distracted if you allow the beauty of the women to overwhelm you.

5. Enugu is an 'Oringo' Town: You must have heard the singer, Flavour called Enugu 'Oringo' in some of his songs. Oringo is a slang in southeast Nigeria which means 'party'. Enugu is a place where more money is spent than it is made. From Cubana to Toscana, from Trans-Ekulu to Abakpa, from GRA to Independence Layout, from Agbani to Obiagu, it is all about Oringo. Forget it. Enugu is the only place you can see beer parlours and bars opened from morning till night, with people drinking during working hours on weekdays. About 60% of alcohol in southeast is consumed in Enugu.

6. Okpa and Pepsi: In Enugu, they don't joke with Okpa and Pepsi. Okpa is a local food made from Bambara beans. N500 Okpa and one chilled Pepsi will go a long way for the average man on the street. Don't play.

7. Beware of Abakpa at Night: Abakpa is the largest area in Enugu town. It is owned by the Nike people of Enugu-East LGA. It is a place where you find the good, the bad, and the ugly. They are called Abakpa Ndi Nti Ike for a reason. When interpreted in English, it means the set of people that are stubborn and do not heed to advice. Abakpa is a place you can get the cheapest accommodation in Enugu if you are a beginner. It is also a place you need to be careful and mind your business. Nor dey waka waka for inside Abakpa for night, or else boys wey nor get joy go help you keep your property for you.

8. Choice Areas to Live: If you are financially buoyant, the best places to stay in Enugu with good security and road networks, beautiful environment, and magnificent buildings are Trans-Ekulu, Independence Layout, and GRA.

9. Water Issues: Enugu is a hilly place. It is good for hikers, but one issue that the town usually face is water shortage due to the topography. I hope the current governor, Barrister Peter Ndubuisi Mbah will address that soon.

10. Always Cook at Home on Sundays: If you are a bachelor or spinster, make sure you get ingredients on Saturday to cook on Sunday, else na hunger go kpai you. Enugu people don't joke with Sunday relaxation and outing. No matter the profits their business is generating, they don't sacrifice their Sundays for anything. Most shops and restaurants are closed. Even shops where the owners live in same building.

I am not from Enugu State. I am from Niger Delta, so this post has been written with an unbiased view.

Happy weekend everyone!

A very sad day for Obidients and proponents of “Christian genocide” in Nigeria. Their god, daddy Trump seems to have discovered the truth, switched tents and is now firmly on the side of the government and the good people of Nigeria
By the good people of Nigeria he is referring to those of us who have the good sense to condemn the evil killings unleashed by the now deceased monster in the post above. If there was no genocide the monster would not have had to be eliminated.

I don't know why anyone would find it hard to admit that Christians have been targeted at a higher level and scale. Does that make you less of a Muslim?

The topic is about Chairmen: Zenith Bank lady is an MD/CEO and of course there are many more female MD/CEOs in the banking industry.
