bbeautylik: Attend the interview but ask questions regarding the terms and conditions of the job and if you wish the payment structure. As far as I know DSA is on contract and subjected to poor pays. Access may be different, I do not know but you will do well to ask after your interview. 1 Like 1 Share |

Career / Re: What FCMB Contract Staff Said On Reading UBA Contract Staff Complaints by smiley15: 11:40am On May 20, 2015 |
Tgirl4real: We have a labour union and they are trying their best. Remember this people are paid minimum wage or above (minimum wage is 18k) so technically FCMB are still within the labour laws. It actually boils down to if this people accept the terms and conditions of the job. Funny enough this is practiced globally. I did my masters in the UK and I saw lots of people doing jobs which is purely comission based (I believe FCMB is basic + comission) and sometimes in two weeks they havent made any sale but keep showing up at work. Some couldnt afford transportation, mind you this are recent oyinbo graduates from Uni or high school not nigerians/blacks. When I asked them, they mentioned its just to get themselves doing something to gather skills, experience, make some small cash, keep themselves busy before something major turns up rather than just seating at home doing nothing. Some may see that as their level as continue therin while some may see bigger things for themselves and work out exit strategies, all in all it boils down to choice. Labour union was actually requesting to increase the minimum wage to 90k, how that will work, I dnt know. |

Wow, I cant believe that people still earn that amount this days but what I will say is this, if that is the job your hands find to do, do it. Some of this people have responsibilities, or needs to be met, at the end of the day there is no food for a lazy man! It is good to work but DO NOT BE COMFORTABLE IN THE JOB seek for alternatives quick. Do not be complacent, continue attending more job tests and interviews till you get the desired choice. If running something of your own is the alternative why not, pursue it with all sense of hardwork, diligence and dedication but I will quickly add that you understand if business is for you. Many pple have said here that this people are silly and shld hv started a business but mind you business isnt for everybody. I knw pple who left their paid jobs (six figures) to start something of their own all becoz of the "be your own employer" who are worse off now even after years on it. Its always best to understand your make up because being your own employer carries much more hardwork and responsibility. |

Some comments here just make me laugh. Well Buhari you can also engage the services of KPMG and perform your forensic audit along side probe since you are bent on believing its 20billion. When you are done please remember to make the document public for us to see, thank you. |

My unsolicited advice: Whether you have received mail or not start preparing for your interview. Its either the mails are coming later or we will have some days notice like this first set. I believe (I may be wrong) that they wld have contacted those unsucessful so prepare. |

ameexy: I am not sure of this but what Banke said during my verification was that they do not have a fixed number that it could be 80, 100 or 150 depending on if sucessful at the interviews. So i guess one shld ensure acing the interview to get a place. |
