Romance / 20 Mistakes Men Make While Texting A Lady by Smoke2015: 1:41pm On Nov 18, 2016
Mistake #1: Living by the 3 Day Rule
The 3 day rule is nonsense, in fact, Dating experts revealed 89% of women want to be first contacted within 48 hours.
So don’t wait until the next day to text a girl, or the day after that. Text her immediately after getting her number – within fifteen minutes after you meet her is good. Even better, text her when you’re right in front of her. It's witty and romantic.
Also, this way, when you’re fresh in her mind, she’ll remember you right away next time your number pops up!
She’ll also feel more comfortable about your text interaction with her because you already started texting her when you were with her.
It will remove her anxiety about texting you the next day and means you can start comfort building a lot easier.
“Hey, it was nice meeting you Zainab . Let’s chat soon. (your name).”

#2 What’s Your Name Again?
Not typing her name in the first text can make her think you’ve forgotten it. Also using words like “beautiful”, “gorgeous”, etc.
You may think you’re complimenting her but she’ll just think you call all girls “beautiful” or “gorgeous”.
If you gave her a nickname when you met her then that’s fine, but only use nicknames if it’s already an insider joke between the two of you, otherwise it’ll appear like you’ve totally forgotten her.

#3 Texting Back Too Quickly
Guy…don’t be too anxious to text her back. Some guys will lose their mind staring at their phone waiting for her to reply, and when she does they’ll rush to pick it up and reply with something daft and incoherent.
If you want her to think you’re a desperate loser, who has nothing else to do in his day, has no social life and who’s world revolves around her, then go ahead, text her back instantly, every single time.
But if you want to make her want you and respect you more, never text back too fast. Try to consistently text back in 10 or 15 minutes and occasionally mix it up to even an hour or so later.
If you’re at the office and she texts you early afternoon, wait until you finish work. She’ll respect the fact you have priorities. Don’t be too predictable. Keep her on her toes. Make her wonder, “why hasn’t he texted me back?”
This should be done to an extent, because there is a flip side to the coin of taking too long to respond every time…
It’s NOT cute to make a girl wait more than six hours, let alone a day or two. It just ain’t cool and she won’t think you care about her if you don’t get back until the next day.
If you do reply to her one day later don’t be surprised if she doesn’t text back because you simply don’t deserve it. She’s probably already gotten over you.

#4 Subject Sticking
It’s ok to continue an ongoing joke you had going when you met her, but if you stick to the same joke for too long, it’ll get old.
Make sure you change the subject and once the joke is over, don’t keep going back to it if you’ve got nothing better to say.

#5 Once Upon a Funtime
It doesn’t matter how much fun you were when you met her because she’ll forget all those positive emotions as soon as you fail to maintain the vibe.
Even if you pulled up all the effizie, it’s important you show her you’re not just a one-hit-wonder and keep the fun alive.
So no meaningless texts like “how are you doing”, “what’s up” and “hi”, which will contribute nothing of value to her image of you.
Remember, she has received dozens of flirty texts a week from guys even smoother than you so if you don’t stand out you will blend in but above all be direct, and clear with your intent.

#6 Playing the ‘date’ card too early
Trying to arrange a date before you’ve made a girl excited to see you again is a fatal mistake countless guys make over and over again....I repeat. FATAL
If you haven’t sparked enough emotion, she’ll more than likely turn you down and that is the honest truth.
That’s why the first few texts you text a girl are critical in pumping her emotion to the point that when you suggest a date she’ll be begging for it to come.
Everything leading up to the meet up should demonstrate value, build her comfort levels and excitement about meeting you.

#7 Mr Inappropriate
Ok, so you’ve been down the gyming, and you think she’d appreciate a photo of you with your shirt off...my brother, think again. You see, if you haven’t built up enough attraction yet, topless photos will scare her off.
Don’t ever send revealing photos unless she has specifically asked for them or if you’re sexting, because just sending them out of the blue will appear needy and will be totally inappropriate.
It also demonstrates you are a low value male because a high value male would never dish out revealing photos of his body without them being earned first.
Plus, you’re forcing a reaction and what do you seriously expect her to say? “OMG you’re so fine, I wanna f*ck your brains out right now baby, what’s your address?!”
If you really want to send her photos that’ll put a smile on her face, send photos of your adorable cousins or with you doing stuff like cooking or playing with babies or hosting with your mother. She’ll appreciate those a lot more.

#8 Using Abbreviations while texting

“I had a gr8 time last nite. Hope u did 2”
In what world is “gr8” acceptable? Do you think that kind of language turns girls on? Really??
If you’re using text slang, improper grammar, or being lazy about checking your messages before you send them, chances are you’ve already f**ed up.
Read your texts before you send them and don’t use slang. Just don’t.
Note: LOL and WTF are ok to a point, but try to avoid these in the first few texts so you can test to see if she likes using them. If she’s using LOL then cool, use it.

#9 Bad Reflections
If she sends 4 texts a day, send 4 texts or less.
If she never swears or uses slang language, never use it back.
If she sends you a long message, reply with a long one back.
Try to think of your phone as a mirror. No girl wants to look in the mirror and see a witch staring back, so don’t give her a bad reflection by sending 6 texts back if she only sends 3, or reply to a 20 character sentence with a 200 character text.
Your level of investment must either match or be lower than hers, so adapt to her texting style and respond in tune with her.

#10 Friend Zoning
If you blend in you’ll get friend zoned. period.
To avoid slipping into the friend zone at all costs, avoid idle chats with her like Lagos traffic.
Tease her, play with her, include her on inside jokes so the feelings of fun and attraction she felt for you when you first met are not only maintained but amped up, so your texts light up her eyes rather than dull her day with the burden of having to text you back.
There’s no excuses for falling into the friend zone and even if you think it’s impossible to answer some of her texts with anything other than a friend to friend response then you’re wrong.
She asks you: “how’s your day going”. You might think the only possible answer you can give is “it’s going great, how’s yours”, but instead, this is the perfect opportunity to tease her. Reply back with something like“clearly it’s going much better than yours!"
This way, she’ll probably reply by saying, “nah, mine’s way, way better than yours” and from there you can move into a much more playful frame.

#11 The Interrogator
There’s a common misconception flying around that since women love talking about themselves it’s a good idea to ask them lots of questions. This is wrong.
No one wants to be bombarded with questions, especially questions that aren’t fun like “do you always go to that club?”, or “so why did you choose to study law?” .
Think about it. If you got a text from someone you don’t know very well asking why you chose to become a lawyer, would you really be motivated to text them back?
To be continued...

Science/Technology / Whatsapp Launches Video Calls by Smoke2015: 5:37pm On Nov 15, 2016
WhatsApp has raised the bar in the battle to be a one-stop shop for communication with the launch of video calling within its app.

The latest update to the popular messaging app, designed to stem competition from the likes of Skype and Apple’s FaceTime, means that users can call one another with real time video.

The one-to-one video calling will become available to all users on Android, iOS and Windows devices in the next few days, WhatsApp said.

With the update, users will be given the option to start a video or voice call when they tap on the phone icon in the top right hand corner of a conversation.

The new feature is the second addition to WhatsApp’s video and photo sharing features in recent weeks. At the end of October, the billion-user messaging app added the ability for users to draw on images in a similar way that they can in Snapchat, Instagram and I Message…hmm, wonderful.

“Over the years we’ve received many requests from our users for video calling,” said WhatsApp. “We want to make these features available to everyone, not just those who can afford the most expensive new phones or live in countries with the best cellular networks.”

WhatsApp isn’t the only social app to lift features from its rivals. Instagram added Stories earlier this year, which are reminiscent of a Snapchat feature of the same name, while Snapchat now has video and voice calling.

Google also launched two new communications apps recently, a video calling app called Duoand a smart messaging one called Allo.

WhatsApp’s parent company Facebook is also investing in video calling on its Messenger platform, and 300 million people use its voice or video calling each month. Facebook recently added Live Video to Messenger, which lets users send a silent stream of what they are doing at any given moment.

“We launched Instant Video a month ago that enables you to start a video stream with someone that’s in a conversation at the same time you are,” David Marcus, Facebook’s vice president of Messenger, told the media at a Web Summit last week.

Religion / MFM Kicks Me Out Of Church(but Did I Deserve It)-joseph Edgar by Smoke2015: 4:00pm On Nov 13, 2016
Diary - MFM kicks me out of church

.....and I suddenly felt like going to church this morning. If you know me very well, this is not really a favorite past time. But for sometime now the way the devil has been fighting, I felt I had to just sneak in humbly and do some penance. The need to go to church was further heightened with my seeming loss of erection or what you would call power failure that has been my lot these past few days. Some say it is the excess Sugar I throw into my system via the six bottle a day coke habit, the others say it is old age slowly creeping in. Whatever the reason, I felt that this was enough cogent reason to take the war to our Lord to fight for me. I cannot loose this 'power' not at this age and at this time.

So I jumped into my car and drove towards the MFM Headquarters located in Yaba. As usual parking was hectic and I had to park a good distance from the church blocking other serious members of the Church and assuring the Ushers that 'I won't be more than five minutes, I swear'. This was prophetic as I truly did not spend up to five minutes, they did not allow me enter o.

As I strolled towards the main gate, I proceeded to remove the accessories that usually annoy the ushers in this church. I pulled my river Island beaded hand bangles, my Michael Koss Gold Bangle and my sterling Silver chain with satan nailed to the cross which hung dutifully from my neck and rests comfortably on my chest. This chain in particular I knew would rile the gatekeepers of the Lords house so I pulled everything and had only my torn Kanye West 'secret life of Pablo' inspired green River Island Tshirt. I just bought it o and it cost a small fortune . My Old Navy pink shorts with beautiful white straps hanging loosely but sexily down my waist and matched it off with my black Gucci loafers completing my humble Jesus look.

Confidently I approached the House of the Lord, looking very meek and humble as I moved but intermittently touching my crotch to see if there was any sign of life. But the thing remained limp and lifeless. My mother had once told me that anxiety could cause it and that I should remove my mind and think of something else. So today I thought of King Solomon and his many wives wondering if he ever had power failure and if he did how he came over it. But then something in me now cautioned me that of all the problems I was facing in life from the continuous wahala with the Grinch at Work, my financial problems, my inability to produce a second edition of my Magazine, my struggle with School fees and my Father in laws passing it was power failure that finally brought me to church. This showed my true essence, the greatness in my being which made me nod my head and acknowledge the fact that I was truly an essentric Gafa.

I was suddenly brought to earth with a gentle touch of a black hand on my chest. I looked up and saw this not very good looking gentleman in front of me with a sweet smile. He said I could not enter. I looked at him with shock, was it my wrist watch? It was Gold but then again it was a watch. He said it was the shorts. My River Island shorts? The one I saw on david Beckham and which inspired me to hide that $150 in my underpants throughout the eight hour flight from Dallas to the UK to buy. The one that made me almost walk naked in the shop when they could not find my size. The one that I have been wearing for the last four days without pulling, is now the one that is making these people, stop me from seeking everlasting solution to my power failure.

I looked at this baba with strong curiosity. It could not be about these shorts. This man just did not like me because I was Akwa Ibom. He was a racist but why would he bring it to church. I tried to explain to the MFM man that this was River Island o, that David Beckham modeled it o. The Baba said that the only David he knew was in the Bible and he did not wear the Shorts. I was tempted to show him the label but something in me thought otherwise he would not know. The Baba did not look like he had ever seen the cover of GQ talk less of opening it. So I pleaded with him, that I had to enter and that I had a major problem I had to talk to the Lord about. He said I should go and change, I said my house was too far and that I had allotted only five minutes for the lord and this argument was eating into the Lords time becuase I was scheduled to see Timi the Printer and did not want to eat into his time. At this point, Baba now ushered me into a seat outside the arena but strategically located near the pulpit where I could at least see the man of God but not near enough to touch his garment which was what was needed to heal me.

But as I was moving towards the chair, he screamed and called me back. What again o. He had just seen my tattoos. Oh God, he had seen my 'zara' tattoo, the one I had put to celebrate my last daughter. At this time he was very sure that this was the Devil himself. As I moved closer, the other tattoos like the David Beckham inspired gothic cross on my right upper arm suddenly came in view and by this time like six other ushers surrounded me with bible in hand and olive oil gently asking me to leave.

They did not even offer to pray for me, they just asked me to leave. I said ok o, I will take my anointing somewherelese. I took it to domino to buy Pizza. Those ones did not mind my shorts or my tattoo, they did not mind that my bow legs were on display they were just after my money.

So my people see the picture attached to this story and let me know if indeed I deserved to be turned back today. But sha, I will try again next year but this time I will either wear something else or go to a living church that would see beyond my shorts but the content of my heart which is to find solution to my power failure. Kai, that is true I still have the problem o, what will I now do.

Business / Mining Of Gold, Diamond, To Commence In Adamawa By December by Smoke2015: 6:48pm On Nov 12, 2016
The mining of solid minerals including Diamond, Gold, Bitumen and Barite in Adamawa by a Swiss firm is to commence in December, an official has said.

The state Commissioner of Solid Mineral Resources, Shanti Shashi, made this known Saturday in Yola at the 4th Adamawa Community Dialogue organized by an NGO, the Adamawa Community Advancement Initiative, ACAI.

Ms. Shashi said the Swiss firm, BTP Swiss Sovereign Asset, and the Adamawa Mining Company would be involved in the mining of seven minerals comprising diamond, gold, zinc, bitumen, barite, uranium and platinum in the state under a three-year agreement.

She said that the state government, which was committed to tapping its solid mineral resources, had already acquired 12 mineral exploration licenses from the Federal Government.

While noting the numerous potentials of Adamawa in area of solid mineral resources, Ms. Shashi said the state was far ahead of other states in its level of preparation to exploit the resources.

“Adamawa is the most organized state as far as solid minerals is concern. We have gone far in talks with Dangote Group on Guyuk Cement factory,” she said.

So Adamawa has diamonds? Wow.

Organisers Of The MTV Europe Music Award (EMA) Strip Wizkid Of His 'Best African Act' Award

The MTV Europe Music Awards has stripped Nigeria’s Wizkid of the Best African Act award and given it to Ali Kiba after days of public outcry from Tanzanians.

The award that was subject to a public vote became a subject of discussion after votes showed Ali Kiba was leading but the organisers gave Wizkid the trophy during the ceremony in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The MTV Europe Music Awards has finally stripped off Nigeria’s Wizkid of the Best African Act award and given it to Ali Kiba after days of public outcry from Tanzanians.

The award that was subject to a public vote became a subject of discussion after votes showed Ali Kiba was leading but the organisers gave Wizkid the trophy during the ceremony in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Ali Kiba said he was awaiting communication from the award organisers and on Wednesday, MTV Base East Africa made the announcement.

During a Facebook live chat, Ali Kiba said;

“Sasa ndio nimepata confirmation kwamba ni kweli tuzo inakuja Tanzania na vile vile mimi siwezi kuzungumzia, nitasubiri mpaka nizishike (I’ve just gotten the confirmation that the award is coming back to Tanzania, but I can’t talk much about it, I’m still waiting to receive it),”
He added that the award organisers got in touch with his management and admitted the mistake clarifying that he was the winner as voted by the public.
Wizkid has since deleted all Instagram posts regarding the award.

Canada's Immigration Website Crashes As Trump Becomes President Elect

Canada’s main immigration website appeared to suffer repeated outages on Tuesday night as Trump took the lead in several major states and eventually got elected as the 45th President of the United.

Some users in the United States, Canada and Asia saw an internal server error message when trying to access the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website.

When the MDB clicked on the page it would not load and a “this page isn’t working” error message came up.

Officials for the ministry could not immediately be reached for comment, but the website’s problems were noted by many on social media platforms.

Jobs/Vacancies / EFCC's Derogatory Recruitment Exercise: A Process Striping Women Of Dignity by Smoke2015: 9:00am On Nov 08, 2016
EFCC’s DEROGATORY RECRUITMENT EXERCISE; A DEHUMANIZING PROCESS STRIPING WOMEN OF DIGNITY

For a government that rode to power on the wave of ‘change’ to have any of its agencies engage in the lunacy that unfolded in the recently conducted recruitment exercise of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is an indication of the sordid situation we are in.

A narrative of the experience of one of those who sadly had to undergo this harrowing spectacle will throw more light on how low some officials of state saddled with certain responsibilities have descended in the course of the performance of assigned duties; an exhibition of a skewed system handed over to perverts to run.

A young lady who contacted Moji Delano Blog had written the test a few months back in Lagos with several others and made the shortlist for the next level of selection process. She had spent an entire day at the test venue in Ikoyi but didn't start to write until 1.00am! How ridiculous!!! Having made the shortlist, she was contacted and required to show up for the next level of the recruitment process which is the physical fitness test level and the venue stated was Kaduna. Apart from the risk and trauma of getting to Kaduna for the fitness test, she and five other ladies were shocked to discover that the supposed test entails being compelled to strip naked in front of the recruitment coordinator for physical examination by a male operative of the EFCC who introduced himself (in a thick Hausa accent) as 'Salleh'.

The candidates were told it is a mandatory procedure and whomever was not comfortable with it can take a walk and forfeit the selection. As if to parade nude before total strangers was not enough humiliation, the male officer(supposed examiner) had groping sessions freely touching the candidates inappropriately under the guise of physical fitness examination.

In fact to underline their uncompromising posture on the "no striping no selection" , a lady who obviously could neither comprehend nor process the absurdity in the strange process refused to strip and was outrightly disqualified, and not allowed to proceed and denied access to speak to a superior level officer.

The question then is, where and how on earth is this permissible and done in 21st century Nigeria of 'change'

It is grating to imagine in this age and time that young women will be subjected to such embarrassing and demeaning experience in the name of screening and selection process to engage for employment. It is difficult to imagine and believe this is the standard procedure of recruitment and it is only rational to assume the process has been deliberately manipulated by sexual perverts whose molestation of these young women will impact negatively on the ego and confidence of these young ladies.

It is not only unfair but the zenith of irresponsibility on the part of these sick examiner(s) to subject these female candidates who have successfully passed through universities, taken and passed recruitment test on merit to this kind of dehumanizing selection procedure; this is perversity unimaginable unfolding before our eyes...

Consequently, the following questions become imperative;

Why was a male officer assigned to examine female candidates for physical fitness?

Why would female candidates be mandated/compelled to take off their clothing to stark nudity in front of male officers?

When has the greedy eyes and groping fingers of anyone become a machinery to ascertain the physical fitness of another?

Is this the approved human resource selection process in the EFCC?

If the answer to (4) is in the affirmative, who approved this kind of process?
Has there been any kind of psychiatric evaluation for those officers involved in this infamy prior to this time?

What kind of country is this?

The afore stated are questions that are in need of urgent, reasonable and adequate answers by the EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Mangu.

Nigeria cannot afford to have an agency as vital as the EFCC harbour sexual felons in its fold or employed supposedly fighting financial crimes. We owe ourselves and our generation this responsibility to protect our young ones from retards in uniform or position who eke satisfaction from the trauma of others.

We don't know who else is suffering this humiliation in the other centers nationwide hence the need to unearth the perpetrators of this dastard act and make them face the full wrath of all known laws they might have infringed on to serve as deterrent to other lechers who sexually harass and molest young women.

The time is now for civil society, advocacy and right groups to rise up and tackle this unreasonable, irresponsible and unacceptable conduct.

Enough is enough.

Update:

When contacted on this issue, the EFCC spokesperson, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren in his response said

"There was no inappropriate conduct by any official during the exercise. The physical fitness and medical tests were conducted by officers from the Nigerian Air Force Hospital who are well trained and adhere to the relevant code of medical practice.
The media must be wary not to become instruments of blackmail by applicants who failed the fitness test. "

Nigerians will be updated as we dig further to unearth the truth to ascertain if this is the ranting of a disappointed candidate or an attempt to cover up the indiscretion of an official of state.

Business / How To Identify Fake Naira Notes by Smoke2015: 11:02am On Nov 03, 2016
Con men cannot produce a real naira note. That's a fact. Even if they can, they can't produce real note without bloating overhead cost. In view of this, there is always obvious differences between a real naira note and it's counterfeit. These differences are not hidden; they are there only if you look well enough, even for an untrained eye. You should also avail yourself of the fact that the use of counterfeits is punishable under the Nigerian constitution whether you're aware or note because "ignorance is not an excuse in the court of law".

Taking advantage of the marked differences between real and counterfeit naira notes, I'm going to list ways you can identity counterfeits.

1. Through Mercury Bulbs

In the real paper naira notes (₦100, ₦200, ₦500, ₦1000), they are some texts that are not visible to the naked eye; they are only visible through the rays from a mercury bulb. So, to verify the authenticity of a naira note, bring the said note in contact with rays from a mercury bulb. If it's real, you'll see a greenish-yellow glow of the note's denomination across it. For example if it's a ₦1000 note, you'll see a glowing 1000 (in numbers) written across the note and smaller 1000 written on specific spots on it. The same goes for other paper denominations.

If the money is in a stack or bundle and you want to test for counterfeits, arrange the monies (it should be the same denomination all-through) properly (i.e. the front of each note in the bundle in contact with the back of the next note and top to top and bottom to bottom) and subject a side of it to rays from the mercury lamp, the greenish-yellow glow should be visible on the first and last note in the bundle if no counterfeit(s) is hiding in it. In either the single note and the bundle (if properly arranged), absence of this greenish-yellow glow means the note or a note in the bundle is fake.

Sorry, I couldn't get you the picture but the glow is very visible. Make sure to switch-off other light sources so as not to hamper the result. While mercury bulb is available at shops where electrical materials are sold, this method is preferable for business owners or people who handle bulk cash.

2. Through Water Or Other Liquids

The colours used in printing counterfeits are soluble in water and some other liquids while that of real money is not. Wet the suspected money or a part of it with water or any other liquid—I have only tried water and petrol—and scrub the wet part with your thumb. Counterfeits will wash-off their colours as you do this but real will not. Do you notice the way the colours of an artwork painted with water-colours wash-off when water touches it? That's the kind of wash-off I mean.

3. Through The Ribbons

On every paper money on the naira is a thin silvery ribbon running from the top to the bottom of the note; it's roppy on old notes.

In real note, you can feel and even pull-out this ribbon on some old notes.
However, in counterfeits, there's something that looks like a ribbon but it's not—just paint. Try scratching that ribbon, it come off like the silver panel on a recharge card.

4. Paper And Colour Quality

While counterfeits are made of ordinary papers, real money is made of a special kind of paper. Fealing the paper-quality of counterfeits, you'll find out that it's just like that of paper found on the street.
The colours of counterfeits also betrays it. The drawings on counterfeits are more blurry, blotchy and sometimes more darker than real paper money.

Of the four methods listed above, the first, second and third is more reliable.

Comments are welcome.

Smoke2015:

Leading financial services provider, First City Monument Bank (FCMB), has kept to its promise to reward customers through its ‘’Millionaire Promo Season 3’’ after a successful third Regional and Zonal draws held at Ikorodu in Lagos, Port Harcourt in Rivers state, Akure in Ondo State and Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. The exercise was witnessed by officials of the Consumer Protection Council (CPC), National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), FCMB customers, and other dignitaries, including community leaders.

At the electronic selection of the winners held across four Regions and 25 zones of the bank nationwide on October 26, 2016, another set of four millionaires emerged, while 640 other customers of the Bank won different prizes, ranging from LED televisions, power generating sets, decoders, tablets, smart phones and consolation prizes.

The latest customers to win N1million at the regional draws are Mr. and Mrs. Uba Elochukwu (Lagos Region), Alhaji Ibrahim Hamza (Abuja & North Region), Mr. Odisu Nathaniel (South-east/South-south Region) and Mr. Atanda Sodiq (South-West Region). The winners were unanimous in their praises for FCMB as they commended the Bank for its unblemished history in fulfilling its promises to customers. In particular, winners of the N1 million star prizes promised to utilise their money judiciously.

The promo commenced in April this year and will run till November, 2016. The current season follows the successful conclusion of the Millionaire Promo Season 2 which held from August 2015 to January 2016 and produced 12 millionaires. The promotion which targets all segments of the society is part of the various initiatives put in place by FCMB to reward customers for their loyalty and patronage.

Speaking on the “FCMB Millionaire Promo Season 3’', the Senior Vice President/Divisional Head, Retail Banking at FCMB, Mr. Olu Akanmu, said, ‘’the Millionaire Promo represents a unique opportunity for us to connect with and reward our customers for their loyalty and patronage. We listen to our customers and when they asked for more after the success of Millionaire Promo Season 2, we were keen to deliver and ensure that more of our customers (both existing and potential) benefit from this exciting reward scheme. Without a doubt this promo has turned dreams to reality. For the customers who have won millions and hundreds of others who got various gifts from this promo, this is not something they expected but it adds great value to their lives. We will continue to ensure that this promo serves as an avenue to create empowerment opportunities for our account holders to fulfil their aspirations’’.

He added that, “our commitment to delighting our customers is unwavering. This is not far-fetched when you consider that our customers are the reason why FCMB exists. To ensure that customers are rewarded regardless of where they live, this promo is uniquely decentralised across our various zones and regions nationwide, which increases the chances of many of our customers to win. We, therefore, encourage everyone to take advantage of the reward opportunities the FCMB Millionaire Promo Season 3 offers." ‎

While congratulating all the winners, Mr. Akanmu encouraged them to put the cash to productive use.‎ He further assured that, ‘'FCMB will continue to come up with initiatives that positively impact our customers and the society, and which clearly position us as a simple, reliable and helpful Bank committed to creating opportunities. ‎We are also focused on developing sustainable relationships with our customers across all segments. This is because of our belief that our success is directly tied to the success of our customers’’.

To participate in the FCMB Millionaire Promo Season 3, all an existing or new customer needs to do is to increase his or her balance by N10,000.00 in any of the eligible savings accounts and maintain it for 30 days to qualify for the monthly draws, where the star prize of N1million and other fantastic prizes is won. Multiple savings of N10,000.00 will increase the chances of winning. To qualify for the grand finale draws, existing and new customers just need to increase their balances with N50,000.00 and maintain it for 30 days. Bill Gates said his three children understand why he has pledged to leave his £70billion fortune to charity.…I repeat…to charity when he dies.

In a revealing insight into his private life, the Microsoft founder, 60, said his children are ‘proud‘ of his decision to dedicate his money to helping the world’s poorest. Gates said that instead of billion-dollar trust funds, his two daughters and son will be given a ‘great education’ to help kick-start their own careers.
