Media attacks are starting to intensify, just shows how scared these peeps are. |
It is okay to disagree with the choice of candidates, however I do not think actions like these are appropriate |
I think the sad part of this story is realising just how much revenue Lagos State makes monthly and how this pales in comparison to the facilities on ground and quality of life obtainable in the state. |
In the end it is the masses that will bear the burden. Those responsible for the current state will barely feel it, they and their families probably have passports with valid visas to flee and continue to enjoy ill-gotten gains with little or no consequences. This is what happens when there are no strong institutions to hold people responsible. I fail to understand when people do not realise that next year's election is a battle for survival and that the economy can further take a down turn-I.e Zimbabwe, Srilanka e.t.c and the masses be left holding the bag when sh*t further hits the fan. Vote wisely oh, it's for your own sake |
If Tinubu does not win the election ,he will most likely be fine , maybe a couple of hospital visits but his wealth will sustain him. If Peter Obi does not win the election , he will be fine , he is going to continue to do well regardless of the economic situation. If Atiku does not win, he will continue to do well, maybe a few visits to Nigeria but he will be fine. Same logic applies to the front runners. My point is that , the next election is/should be about us, Us being Nigerians, struggling middle class, regular citizens, youth e.t.c because we are the ones going to be affected by the economic realities, infrastructures, insecurity et al. We will also be ones to benefit from sound policies and good decisions. Most politicians do not care about you, political payments will finish and bad policies will be felt by us all. With that in mind, for once, a competent , fit candidate who seems to know what they are doing is not a bad idea , is it ? |
Lol. When you interact with most Nigerian politicians and look at their track records, they are quite quite good at one thing- putting themselves first. They are selfish and do not care about you. They only care about living a certain lifestyle and continuing to be able to fund it. Whatever platform offers that, they go there! |

Also, the possibility of an inconclusive result/rerun should be considered |
Classic example of attacking the messenger. Vital issues have been raised by both media houses, yet this man is hell bent on silencing the media. Strange fellow |
Wetin dey happen! E reach ask oh. Because all these insecurity news don dey fear person |
Splitmind:Against your future president! Nobody's business ? For someone attempting to rule over an entire nation? So much secrecy and shady things associated with that individual! It's obvious you do not mean well for this country. Nigerians are smart bunch of people and we often tend to know the truth but personal gains and sentiment still allow people argue against it. |
A genuine third force is gaining momentum. Interesting times |
"However, the camp of the former Lagos State governor had denied the report, saying the negative review being peddled by a select few won’t force them to abandon their vice presidential candidate." Instead of attempting to address concerns , you call them a "select few". The choice of VP is not inclusive for wide and diverse country like Nigeria. |
