E don cast, Last last, na everybody go chop breakfast |
helinues:I can't make sense of your comment. I suppose you are trying to say "We should be the one lamenting, not you billionaire lots" Does that even make sense you you? These hasty implementations without increase in wages have effectively reduced the purchasing of most of the populace with little or no cushion. Every well meaning Nigerian should be concerned. You need to take a step back and reflect! |
helinues:How do we support acting recklessly without consideration of the populace. Lots of people have been massively hit with these hastily implemented policies. Shouldn't the plans to cushion the removal be made before implementation? This is really poor planning |
Lmao. Awa lo kan. The funniest thing is that the real effect will start being felt in the next few months. Nothing like detty December for anyone. Either ways like the agbadorians , it will favour my family and I. Crazy folks |
The majority of replies in this thread explains why Nigeria is the way is it. No accountability, selfishness and lack of insight into actions. Stolen mandate? " No wahala, it will favour my family and I", rubbish policies by politicians? "God will help us". We are one interesting people |
Lmao, I hate the things that happen in this country |
The amount of similar topics about the economy since the new administration ehn and we thought it couldn't get worse than Buhari. By the time this man is done with us all, we will all ronu. Lmao |
This country deserves a good and fair trial, the parties LP, PDP, APC (the party that allegedly won with 32% of the votes), deserve the same. I hope the justices do right by the country and rule without fear or favour. Most importantly, INEC should stay true to its name and remain independent and should not act like a political party |
Nigeria is a place that defiles business logic. And if we really dig deep, it's due to its people. We are inherently greedy and the only thing that puts us in check is when we know that there are consequences for our actions. |
APC has repeatedly shown lack of respect for Christians in this election |

One thing about economy is that it can always get worse. Let's keep voting the wrong people and one day we will realise you won't be able to withdraw your own money from the bank, salaries won't be able to be paid , the currency will become worthless and you might need to transport money in a wheelbarrow to buy roasted corn. Let's continue oh. When the chicken comes home to roost , we will all be here. |
Few months to the end of the tenure and you suddenly start speaking the truth ? You suddenly realise indiscriminate borrowing has to stop and that poverty levels are unacceptable? It's how these people keep playing on our collective intelligence and rightly so because they know there will be little or no consequences! F*ckn bastards |
It's how people fail to see the handwriting on the wall and continue to campaign for the party responsible for this economic mess. Unbelievable! |

OurBusinessIsPr:You are delusional. You probably need psychiatric help but alas you hate medical doctors, maybe a psychologist? |
OurBusinessIsPr:Doctors are not the reason you are miserable |

This country dey burst my head. Wetin be this ? |
A country morally bankrupt will hardly go far. This is a moral issue. Everything about that man is questionable. I am certain his supporters know this and are having doubts but alas they are too deep in or also morally bankrupt or maybe they just don't care which is equally worrisome. Nigeria may not be working now but the office of the president is revered and should not have this terrible 'drug cloud' hanging over it. This man himself has not addressed these drug related issues but was quick to respond to fake news about INEC seeking to disqualify him. Purported 'fake news release" itself likely to be a gimmick from his own camp. Most recently the US extradited former president of Honduras for drug related charges and that is a massive dent on Honduras. Several times this man has spoken, he has shown to be entitled and arrogant. This is someone who is vying to enter the highest office of the land. He has refused to debate other colleagues while giving flimsy excuses. Tag this as a rant, a wailing or associate it with an ethnic agitator e.t.c but the truth is the truth. This man is of questionable character. Elites will mostly benefit from this man's presidency while the masses will continue to suffer and trust me, the elites do not give 2 f*ucks about you. And to those who keep shouting Lagos as an example. I lived in lagos for over 20 recent years and the quality of life there is appalling. It is not a place to be extremely proud of. Pipe borne water ? Constant electricity ? Means of transportation ? Commute ? Now let's mention thuggery , insecurity , extremely low paying jobs and a host of other issues. Bottom line is Lagos should not be where it is with the amount of revenue it earns. Most revenue generating pipelines are directly linked to this man. He has a massive straw in Lagos finances. Like I said , with how dire the circumstances are , we do not need someone to turn Nigeria into a giant conglomerate with revenue leaks directly flowing into someone's pockets. We need people with sound minds and ideas who appreciate how dire the situation is and people that are not out for selfish interests. Alas , we have the chance as a people to change the narrative in 2023. It's our chance to do the right thing. But are we going to take it? |

Looking at this , one may be pardoned to think the person speaking is an outsider and not part of the mess we are in. Alas , this human is the party leader of the ruling party. By the way, the speech has been paraphrased to make it look glamorous, you need to watch the video where this bloke was barely coherent and was finding it difficult to string sentences together saying stuff like " Nigeria needs thinkers and doers, I am begging you not to run away for another degree" "Rufai is an expert in turning a rotting situation to a bad one" It is clear that this man is cognitively impaired and It is definitely not a good idea to hand over a bizarrely complex nation like ours to him. Anyone finding this difficult to see is either being dishonest or has deeply rooted bias. |
Imagine the money spent on delegates and then this! Whoever spends this way will want to recover their funds when they get into power and will only have their own interests at heart. It is time for these set of political class to be booted out. Nigerians , let us be wise in the coming elections! |
APC and PDP should be very afraid. It is not going to be business as usual. The usual 'dormant" electoral population have now decided to be involved in the election! Interesting times! |

It's just a really funny story how a very intelligent man has been relegated to the background. Osibanjo for all his intelligence got played. He thought his "loyalty" was going to be rewarded. He thought keeping quiet and being docile was going to pay off. Now he's just a figure head tasked with irrelevant chores. This is what happens when you decide to pitch your tents with crooks. He has laid his bed , let him lay on it |

Nbote:The lack of accountability is mind boggling almost unreal. Everyone gets away with everything. No strong institutions to hold anyone accountable. These same set of politicians act normally in countries where the laws are strong and no one cares who who are. I am afraid to say that it is same for a large number of Nigerians. Someone who's been acting well in maybe the UK starts behaving anyhow when they land at MMIA. Crazy stuff |
503,000 last 2 months ,however resigned and took a month break, currently awaiting first payment from my new place of work |
Disgraceful refereeing! |
How Nigerians still want to vote in this same government and party is way beyond me! Almost looks as if people are comfortable with the situation because it absolutely makes no sense! |
All these propaganda reek of fear! lol, sounds like a paid post |
