Just finish watching Black Adam. I think the movie is not close to as bad as the critics are making it look.
Critics complained about DC movies not being fun, not having heart, having bad pacing and all lack actions and Black Adam delivered on all that yet they still squashed it.. Very funny!!!
Imagine critics giving Doctor Stranger: MoM a pass, Thor: L and T a pass but they refuse to do the same for Black Adam, even when it has a better plot, better action scenes, better storytelling and lastly better pacing than both.
My main issue still remain ever since they released trailer for it, The Rock needs to go out of his comfort zone. Black Adam doesn't need to speak with American (US) accent. It definitely takes away the true embodiment of the ruthless guy called Black Adam, though he did almost a perfect job playing the guy.

His wages are never a problem for most big clubs. The truth is; no club is willing to sacrifice its philosophy for one man who is not even ready to adjust to team's playing style. He's not the highest earner currently so why should his wage become the major problem. Clubs don't need the CR7 of today, cause he can't do anything aside from waiting close to his opponent's 18yrd box.
He succeeded in Madrid well because he was younger, and with some skillful touches (on like now). And again the Madrid you are talking of was filled star-studded players that do all the other work for him unlike MU that is trying to play as a single unit

John William theme is the most iconic theme for Superman...

Anybody that listens to it recognizes it instantly.
It's far more popular than Hans Zimmer theme.
It is the definitive superman theme across all forms of media.

You can use it for anything Superman and it would still work, it's way too relevant and it is bonded permanently to the character.

It has a deep pop cultural influence like Star Wars theme does in anything Star Wars.

No need for me to debate about both.
For me, I prefer the Hans Zimmer's theme more than William's own.

I was surprised when WB was greenlighting movies that people never asked for or wanted. At least, Zaslav is axing them off the schedule now. WB should stop double-guessing what movie will stick or not. They should come up with a cohesive universe, something close to what Snyder originally planned for DCEU before Geoff Johns messed it up.

Some projects are released not for profit but pedigree and brand value.

Who would want to work in a company where movies head into production and gets cancelled (Wonder Twins ...which I wasn't too bothered with) and a full movie being locked in the vault away from any release whatsoever (streaming, VOD, Dvd, or theatres), asides from massive TV cancellations.

He's slowly scaring creatives away from WB, a place known as a home for talent for purely investors concerns. WB is known as a risk taker and hitting goldmine from time to time but with an exec like big old Zas, movies like Joker is impossible.

This singular news has the capacity to scare general audiences away from DC movies. The image he's supposedly trying to repair might be damaged in the long run. With this cluelessness who puts confidence in such company.

You can easily see the quality difference in Black Adam from Shazam: Fury of the gods. The superiority (in terms of quality) Black Adam is wielding over Shazam is very visible to the eyes. Maybe because of Dwayne is literally a juggernaut in Hollywood and he's doing so much for the movie to be a big success.

So now you're measuring comic book stories to live-action/movies I guess. Don't ever do that cause (almost) anything can go in cartoons, but not movies.
People are practically losing interest in even your MCU because there are too many disconnected things going on simultaneously, but they want you to believe they are perfectly connected...
1. Who's the current leader(s)/avengers in their current point....
2. They made their disnay+ MCU series villains look like MCU's movies A-level threats, yet they used class F heroes to handle the situations without even calling the big guns, and also they hardly mention these F class heroes' names when the real heroes (MCU's movies) handle same threats.
3. 90% of characters in their series don't make it to the big screen (even when they make them look so important and big) or their names are not even mentioned in subsequent movies, for example, White Vision, U.S. Agent: Captain America, and many others. I know they will say they are keeping them for later, but their events were supposed to play into the MCU's next movies that followed those series or be mentioned since they practically share the same universe, if not the same country sef...
I love how those agents were chasing after Kamala because of her gain power, but turn blind eyes and deaf eyes to White Vision who has been roaming around...
The truth is that too many characters definitely give headaches and you know what headache brings...

Exactly. After watching The Boys, I have come to realize that most of the leaks or reactions prior to a movie release are usually a marketing scheme or PR.
These days I no longer watch out for a movie, I only hear that it's out before I watch it.
I don't even know when most films are coming out now and I was shocked to find out black panther and Adam were coming out this year.

As for those Marvel movies, that one is an entirely different thing. We all know of recent, Marvel have been dishing out mediocrity when it comes to movies. It's their TV series that are good.
That's why I'm not getting my hopes high for Wakanda Forever. Marvel being Marvel, they might ending up ruining that movie.
