yes, i mean if i press the power button, the power light comes on, the booting light also comes on but the booting light goes off after like 10 to 15 secs and the screen still won't show.
During this process, the fan also won't roll.

Remove the battery, don't connect the adapter and press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, this will help discharge the system.

When you're done, connect only the adapter and power it on.

I did as u suggested but I'm still getting the same blank screen. I noticed that the booting light comes up now for like 10-15 secs, the charging light too but the fan is not rolling.

Possible fault.

1. Dvd drive is bad
2. Dvd drive connector is bad
3. Dvd drive connector is not getting the required voltage or not transmitting or receiving the required signal.

I've checked online for possible cause and solution but what I got didn't work.
I've uninstall and reinstall the driver, still not working.
