I hereby call the Presidency and the Nigerian government as a whole to scrap NIMC( National Identity Management System). NIMC is an irrelevant and totally disorganised body. I registered for the NIMC in the year 2013 and was given a slip and given the assurance that I was going to receive a text message to be able to come and collect my card from their office. Since that time to this present moment I have not been able to collect my card nor has anyone sent any message to me. The unfortunate thing is that those that registered in 2015 have collected theirs. What is now the essence of registering early and being deprived of my card up till this time. I was told my card is not yet ready that I should still wait for an sms. hmmm. NIMC is totally useless.

I was in Akwa ibom, Uyo over the weekend for a friend's wedding scheduled to hold at God's House of Refuge Church in Ikot Ekpene, Uyo.
It was my first time in Akwa ibom and I was indeed delighted I made the trip to Uyo for the wedding. The wedding commenced at exactly 11am, and the usual church routine was carried out; Sermon, Joining of the couples, Signing the marriage certificate and Thanksgiving to mention but a few. When it was time for my friend and his bride to make their marital vows, they did it perfectly and we're given a round of applause by the congregation. When it was time for the white man to make his marital vows he did his own in a rather unique way speaking some Akwa ibom language to his bride, the whole congregation screamed and burst into laughter seeing the man from New York speak in the native dialect of the Akwa ibom people.
The third wedding was done quickly and the whole wedding finished at exactly 2:30pm. It was a wedding I would never forget in a short while

As I left my house this morning on my way to work, I met some women sitting infront of fcda road Area 11 Garki Abuja. I was disturbed by this act, seeing young and vibrant women sitting on the road I decided to move closer to them to find out what the problem was,and I discovered that they have not been paid their basic wages for some months now by the immediate past F.C.T Minister Alhaji Bala Mohammed who was seen to be owing staff and the core members who served in fcda during his administration their monthly salaries
I am pleading with the new fct minister in person of Alhaji. Mohammed Bello to come to this women's rescue and pay them their salary cause this their only means of survival.Please sir use your good office to bring smiles upon this women's face

I have been banking with Ecobank for close to 10 years now and to be candid their services has been terrible and irritating. Recently I applied for a new Atm cause of the loss of my previous one.I was told to fill a form which I did, and after filling the form, the sum of 1000 naija was deducted from my account. I was then told to come back in 2 weeks time, the normal Atm policy. Unfortunately I could not go back in 2 weeks time due to the fact that I had to resume for my N.Y.S.C posting at F.C.T. I therefore visited the closest branch of Ecobank to lay this complaint. The Customer care agent at the Kubwa branch told me to write a letter for my Atm to be transferred to me from Ilorin to Kubwa in Abuja, which I did. She then scanned the letter and sent a mail to the branch that I first applied for a new Atm. She then told me that I should come back next week but added that the process may take months or even years before the Ilorin branch attend to it.
Up till this moment I have not still able to collect my Atm card after making several calls to the Customer care lines in Ilorin all to no avail.. The last Customer care agent I spoke to told me to re apply again, meaning another 1000 naija will be deducted from my account. Imagine what sort of nonsense is this. Ecobank is really a very terrible bank to keep one's money... I am advising all Nigerians to please avoid banking with Ecobank, if not you would surely encounter what I encountered if not more. A word is enough for the wise.
