My life has ended, I worked very hard for this job, I prayed, fasted, attended lessons travelled from another state just for this job.

But I failed,I failed

Better days ahead boss. Like I said the job wasn't for those that needed it the most. We'll all be fine πŸ™

I think it's more of luck and ultimately God's grace, so many factors were in consideration so anyone could av gotten the offer.

Well said

This would have been a dream come true for me. I trusted God for this job, I tried to prepare in the best possible ways and thought it will end in praise but I guess my best wasn't enough, if only I had the power to go 3months back in time, I know the exact things I did wrong and should have done better. I don't know what the future holds for my dream of working in oil & gas but it's all good, I know his plans for me are for good not evil. gracias NLNG for the experience.

For posterity: Know that the people that will finally get the job are not those that needed it the most but those that are well prepared for the assessments.

There's no recruitment conducted by NLNG since 2007 that doesn't have a waitlist.

Are mails for waitlist sent immediately after the first offer? Or does it mean no one has been waitlisted yet?

Question is, will there be a waitlist?
With the several changes made this year I am doubtful and hopeful at the same time

Do you know the number of people that got the offer?

Also if train 7 will commence production anytime soon then more hands might be needed. I remain hopeful until NLNG says it's over.

I might not post it here but the truth is in my mind I'm still expecting an offer.

For the notion that says there's no right or wrong answers for fact finding....

I wonder and I'm still wondering. How will it not be wrong to forge ahead with HumanIt Care despite:
1. Such huge allegations of arms proliferations in Africa.
2. The non-disclosure of their process and procedures.
3. There strict zero cooperation clause.

The Charity says you can only donate and walk away. No accountability and you can't poke nose them. I'm wondering whether I missed something or Action Aid also has some big issue I didn't uncover.

There is no right or wrong answer boss. The way it works is, after asking these questions you highlighted and still chose Humanit, it will be seen as you ignoring the seemingly red flags even after doing due diligence. If you didn't ask these questions but still gave strong points to defend your choice i think you're not wrong.

The AC was... I don't know...

I've had literal dreams about it since that day.

The presentation was very "e choke".

The fact finding was a real treasure hunt... I changed my mind eventually. Don't know if that's a good thing or not. πŸ™ƒ

The food... I couldn't eat. Too much nervousness.

The best part of all... The ATM card... I was literally mind blown at the ATM machine... πŸ˜„

I was lost during the group exercise which was the first, I wasn't sure what to do. My thought is that we will end up presenting what we discussed but turns out the opposite.

Omo I was drilled during the presentation exercise, the men were not smiling. I was asked about Mr Lopez's role in the passage omo guess what, all through my preparation i never knew who he was. Wahala o πŸ˜‚ I almost asked the assessors who tf is Mr Lopez? But i maneuvered my way and answered the question tho. For the flip chart i only wrote a few things on one, which one is this I'm hearing that some people used five, God abeg o. Although i used upto three A4 sheets for my notes.

The fact finding went well, by then i was comfortable and no more tension, it was the easiest for me. The assessors asked all they could ask me and had no more to ask until the allocated time elapsed. On a lighter note we discussed a little and they asked how i knew about NLNG. They wished me well and i left.

For the food i couldn't eat much all that was in my mind was business and not food.

We finished around 4pm and i was totally exhausted, since then i cant count how many times I've had dreams of the AC. To summarize my AC experience with just one word I'd say "omoooo". Of course It's all worth it and by the grace of God I'm among those that will resume in bonny in the coming weeks.

I pray they recruit a lot since they are about expanding with the train 7 project. I also hope to meet you guys in bonny.

Airsay abeg leave me o. Leave that guy.

AC will likely be May and June.

Three areas - group exercise, fact finding and analysis / presentation exercise.

There are lots of materials online as regards AC. Your etiquette, being civil, collaborating, listening, etc. Learn, improve and also be yourself. Practise. You cannot give what you do not have but you can learn and become better than you are now. Also remember that you can perform below who you really are, due to fear, lack of composure and ignorance. Study and be the best you can be. Some persons will perform better because of the information they will garner within this period while some will not because of stubborn head of not learning.

Good luck everyone invited.

Thanks boss. Should we expect the behavioral interview questions too??
