I called it spoonfeeding because these students actually depend solely on everything the lecturer tell them.After the lectures,they just throw their books and go for the "next party" on campus.The next day,it is the same old story.It is just a select few who take the pains to go back to the notes,and do research and disclaim or confirm what the lecturer said...
university education is supposed to make you independent...
