9jakohai: Do you know that we are earning far less from oil than we were 4 years ago?
Do you know that we have massive loans to sort out?
Do you know that we cannot touch recovered cash till the related court cases are sorted out?
Do you know that our economy is poor because 'resource dependency'/
Yes...governors should reduce their allowances, and special assistants...but must we use the money saved for only WAEC hopefulls? Plus..the number of WAEC hopefulls keep on increasing year after year..so sustainability?
Do you know that the same state govt already heavily subsidizes primary and secondary education so that you don't pay fees of 150000 naira and above?
Why can't churches, mosques, etc step in and help fund WAEC fees?
See the problem? You are right Sir. You have some points But they can actually pay this Waec Fees. |

9jakohai: God bless you.
This is a discussion, not a game of insults. God bless you too. Meanwhile you need to reason well before you contribute. This is education!!! Payment of Waec. Do you know we have many students that can't avoid the exam fees? |
Education › Re: Ondo Govt. Hands Off Payment Of WAEC Exam For Students by SNIPER123: 8:57am On Nov 30, 2017 |
9jakohai: Receive sense Look...this is not politics.
It is about states cutting costs.
If a PDP governor does the same,it would still be the right decision.
In 2013...oil was at $120 per barrel. Now it is at $60 per barrel. States are losing revenue. Either they start cutting costs while they can.....or they take more loans, or raise taxes.
And yes, many states are korrupt too. That even makes it worse...they are stealing from a diminished treasury)
No such thing as free education....yes Awo did it...at a time when less than 10% of the school aged population was in school. |

This energy we are using to lay claim to Lagos online can be used to hold our elected officials accountable for their actions. I believe we Igbos are the most industrious tribe in Africa, however, we have to direct our energies towards the right direction. Industrious indeed |

dockokwus: The amala governor has come out to show his shallowness again. First, the constitution supercedes any kpomo or ewedu induced state law and its only in murder cases that death penalty is allowed. Secondly, how can any sane person prescribe death penalty for just belonging to a cult group! Third Fayose shud be ready to execute many Ekitians because i am sure that eith the level of poverty him and buhari av unleashed in state and federal, many Ekitians may have fd secret cult membership and its false security and wealth,an easy get away route. Obviously you have a great problem. If you belong, you better don't move close to Ekiti. Stupid boy |
