This person had her interview in Abuja on the 6th October with children and their passport were returned to them but after few days only the mother was asker to submit passport because the AP is nearing completion. Nothing has been heard since then. The principal applicant h1 is change of status in US which started this october. The h1b was approved this fiscal year. Please I have sent you a message

The principal is H1B consular. shes a nurse and the hiring hospital has what you call "cap exempt" which means they are not tied to the yearly lottery limits and balloting that happens on april of every financial year and can hire at any time of the year without limit

For the children, was a seperate application done for them? If the H4 of the spouse was approved, the children also should. Also have you checked the visa status on the state department portal? it changes from approved to issued once completed. if it still says "approved" then some verification is still ongoing at state dept level even if its approved at consular level. you could also check the status on OIS services website. if the passport is ready for collection, it will be indicated once you type in the passport number.

Please any update from anyone that had experienced administrative processing from Abuja embassy. I know someone who is currently on administrative processing regarding h4. What is the average time line for anyone who has experienced that for any categories

I was on placed on 221g at my interview for H4 on October 14th. I got back home and saw that it was already approved in a matter of a couple hours. Mine was in Lagos though. I know someone who had an H-1b interview in Abuja and was placed on 221g, her visa was approved in less than a week after.

The timeline is largely dependent on what they are trying to verify and if they asked for more documents. However, if it goes past 2 months, you can send them an enquiry.

The US has a very high regard for family institution and the VO possibly couldnt process how you'ld be going on a "vacation" all by yourself, without your wife and kid. OR, why you are going on a vacation at all when you are supposed to be with your wife (who really isn't supposed to be "busy" working after just giving birth) and her new born. You were able to provide adequate ties to home country but the motive wasnt established because, too many open ends.

You can give advice without being disrespectful. He is right. your response sounded insensitive. He lost his father! The best you could do was offer your advice while condoling. Not make blanket statements/assumptions that his late father used his office for untoward practices without having the facts of the matter. This further response shows an obvious lack of emotional intelligence.

The argument is not settled, It is not. You will always be second class citizens and you will always be at the mercy of the system.

This is where the US is different from other Western countries. As long as your stay is legal and you are law-abiding, you are well protected under the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments of the Constitution, so even the president will have a tough time exercising undue power over you when you are within those rights.

The U.S is a country of immigrants, which is what makes it receptive to immigrants seeking a better life (asides trumps hard stance which is mostly towards illegal immigrants and criminals anyway). Even Trump's grandparents migrated from Germany and Scotland.

All visas to the US are solely to present yourself at the point of entry, at which admission would be determined by the CBP officer. That said, there is something called an I-94 document for every registered traveler to the US. This document contains the REAL status of your stay in the US.

Student petitions/visas usually reflect a " D/S", or "duration of studies," on the applicants' I-94 status once granted. which means you can stay till the end of your studies.

The validity of the visa only affects the period of travel, NOT the period of stay, which is determined by the I-94. your visa could expire, and your stay in the US would still be valid depending on your i-94 status

The only issue is that once you begin your studies, it would be very inconvenient to have to travel outside the US because you will then need another visa to re-enter each time you leave.

Either way, it's a very inconvenient policy for Nigerian travelers. Those that have it worse are visitors, tourists, and business travelers whose I-94 is automatically tied to the visa duration and cannot, for any reason, stay beyond the 3-month limit.

Congratulations. However, Your visa category is hardly denied at the embassy because prior to your interview, USCIS would have already done all due diligence before approving your form i-797 petition which is the basis for scheduling your visa interview. That is why its the first thing they asked you aside your passport. So the embassy interview is mostly a formality and just to confirm your documents and issue the visa for you to travel thats why it wasnt a problem approving your wife immediately as theres nothing that warrants the delay. My wife and I likewise got our H-1B and H4 last year August. Its different from a visitors visa or student visa where all due diligence is done and decision taken right there at the embassy. Around 90% of people who went before us in these other categories were denied and at a point, even while we knew we would get it, other peoples experiences ignited a subtle anxiety. But we thank God sha. Congratulations again.

it depends on different factors. most banks do a limit of $100 monthly on international transactions so if you purchase or pay for services more than the limit, be rest assured it wont get to the merchant. I shop online with Amazon and Asos and they never ask for OTP

it's not all online payment platforms that require OTP. Infact, most don't especially international and some local merchants. All they require is your card no, expiry date and 3 digit security code at the back. it's only the popular ones like the local Quickteller, Remita and a few others that require OTP.

Did a research a while back and discovered that and discovered that genotype has NOT ALWAYS been there from the beginning of time.

Genotype has always been there right from the beginning of time. What wasn't there was the knowledge of it, especially in Africa and other developing societies.

As regards malaria, it is actually the AS genotype that is "stronger."

People with the AA genotype are more susceptible to coming down with malaria.

If you study the history of malaria and if you follow the patterns of spread as well as its severity and deaths, you would find that surviving malaria then correlated with the AS genotype.

I understand I'm saying so much with no source and this isn't good enough. Because of this, I shall revisit this post with a source once I'm free.

Please I placed 4 different orders on ASOS. One of the orders was sent with tracking I.D but the orders were sent without tracking I.D. I received the one with tracking I.D through DHL a week before the expected delivery period. But it is already two week after the expected delivery period of the other three orders and I am yet to receive them. I wrote ASOS but I was adviced to go to my local post office in Sapele. I went to post office but I was told that they have not received it. Please has anyone experience anything like this and what could be the way forward. Thanks.

Theres nothing ASOS can do..ive gotten a ot of stuff from asos and everytime this kind of thing happens, The fault is usually from the post office. Go to the post office attached to the local government of the address you used (make sure its the post office that controls the LG of the address, very important), its always lying down somewhere in their store. They should give u their delivery logs starting from the expected arrival date to see whether your stuff has really arrived. The Nigerian post office is really inefficient.

They even make sure your wife Kitchen experience is easy. She can wash the dish, get easy access between the Plate rack and the Dish washer. Get easy access to the trash can from the dish location. They can visualize a lot of things by looking at the paper.

Very apt. Most times clients don't see beyond those lines, they don't realize theres a lot of science and psychology that goes into the design of a home. Aside client specifications, there are a lot of basic design features that should not be taken for granted. Like determining the direction of wind and orientating the building in conformity. Likewise sizes of windows. People dont know for effective cross ventilation, the escape window for hot air should even be bigger than the access window for fresh air. Thats why in some homes you have to open the toilet or kitchen door before fresh air can actually come in. its no coincidence an architect goes to school for 6 years. Same as medicine and surgery.

check all doors to be sure they are properly jammed. Mine only does this when one or more of the doors are not jammed.

Your analogy Is flawed sir. Either that or you didnt fully grasp the contents of the article. GDP is calculated over a period of a year or a quarter of a year. The 32 billion dollars stated by the article spans the entire period of the GSM revolution which is in its 16th year (since 2001). The article also implies a figure of 1.5 billion naira (not dollars) daily. These figures are not over blown, its either you are not very familiar with computer village and its inner-workings or you just choose to be mathematically shy. The figures are very much realistic. I mean we are talking about the biggest ICT market in the whole of Africa. The likes which the google boss had to fly down to see things there first hand. You only need to interview a random phone sales guy under a tiny dingy staircase and you'd be shocked how much he makes daily.
