this thread should be made sticky by the moderators. it is a wake up call to all vulnerable and desperate nigerians who want to leave to country at all cost. |
maybe you would get more response from education section |
it seems poster wants to be in anywhere but Nigeria/Africa. for a first timer with what appears to be little support, the popular western countries would be difficult. Perhaps you could explore some of the emerging economies eg Brazil, eastern Europe, south east Asia. word of warning; beware of scammers, look before you leap [grass is not always greener on the other side]. |
just as you have your opinion others have theirs. If you did not want this to be debated you should never have brought it here and would be better kept locked up some where in your brain. this is a public forum so everyone do not have to agree with you. |
good luck bro. i know how it feels when you hit the big 3 and there is no female homosapien you can call yours. |
comechop:why the hell are you alive |
candyflos:thanks for advertising your family business but this is the wrong section for commercials. Nevertheless if you had remembered to charge your brain cells this morning you would know there is a gulf of difference between your family hospital and a govt one. If you insist on optional food then you could also demand optional registration fees, consultation fees, immunisation fees etc. Nigerians and free things. Simply ridiculous. |
I said it. These guys must be on speed |
tpiah!:on second thought could this develop into love between the warring factions ![]() |
jensinmi:is being a househelp is now slavery then at least half of nigerians need to be in jail as we speak including yourself because i am sure at some point in your life either you or members of your family have used this service. If she is an illegal immigrant deport her; i hardly blame anyone for escaping from the so called third world to earn a living in advanced countries. After all these same hypocritic western countries have plummetted Africa's wealth over centuries. People cross borders largely for economic reasons. No body knows here the nature of the so called abuse. Some parents lose their temper and smack their children; that's not malicious in any way. The truth of the matter is people here are so quick to jump on the bandwagon of the moral high ground when you all are as if not more guilty. He who is without sin cast the first stone. |
homosexuality is a sin according to the bible. God did not make sin. |
MRbrownJAY:and you monitored the beating with the CCTV you placed in their house abi? |
guys just take a pause for a minute. please call a truce. these attacks would lead nowhere. |
I am sure the woman brought these people in to help with her domestic needs as she has 5 children. Househelps is common practice in Nigeria. So people don't act whiter than the white man. The allegation of slave trading is definitely OTT and 11 years jail term is way too harsh. She unfortunately is being made example of by a PC society. |
AjanleKoko:Guy them tell you say na final dem wan play? Abi u don forget say na home and away the match go be? Why you dey disgrace your village here? BTW inter drew at san siro and lost 2-0 at camp nou last year during the group phase, but they ended up kicking barca out in the semis. 1 + 1 is not always 2 when it comes to football. |
ifyalways:at least i base my arguements setting practical examples rather than yourself that debates as if this is some fantasy world. The bottom line is that the hospital for reasons best known to them have set N500 for food. No one is forced to eat the food, but if you are admitted there it is part of the total cost. Thats the beauty of choice here. If you dont like it then move to the nearest private hospital, shikena. Why are you taking panadol for another mans headache. I would rather a well equipped but somewhat dear hospital that a free but crappy one. PS; no ones comparing nigeria with whatever country; you attempt to mislead readers here is rather pathetic. |
Chelsea vs Man Utd = chelsea Inter vs Schalke = Inter Barca vs Shaktar = Barca Real vs Spurs = Real Semis Chelsea vs Inter = Inter Barca vs Real = Real Finals Inter vs Real = Real The authentic oracle has spoken |

you have to realize in these days of 419/fraud a lot of people would be afraid to lend a helping hand even if they would want to. inviting you would mean sticking out their necks for you, a complete stranger. it may be easier to register to attend a conference/short course in the US as longer as you can find a sponsor and raise the capital for the trip. |
i apologize, barcelona won 1 - 0 after extra time. It was the european super cup, august 2009. |
@ ifyalways we can continue with this argument till day breaks but after all said and done, health is an expensive business. In the most developed nations of the world, you have to pay through your nose to get even some basic healthcare. At N500 per day, it remains cheaper than most private hospitals. If we dig deeper, you will find that, the longer the patient stays on admission, the cheaper he of she pays for food. If someone is admitted for a month, i think how it works out would be eg N300 per day rather than the full amount. The N500 is reserved for short hospital stays. Again i stand corrected. It is not that simple a mathematics ie, N500 * no. of days. This total amount is only paid on discharge and not a daily levy. |
sledge406:does that mean the children and women sections have been moved from the old specialist site? interesting then. |
silence |
Seum:are you Mrs Seun? |
@ ifyalways look at it this way; most of the people who decline the food and ultimately end up paying would have to be middle class and above. therefore its like a robin hood tax; as most persons at the lower end of society dare not let go of N500 and not eat the food. remember other services at the hospital is already subsidized, eg registration, consultation fees, etc. common, government no be father Christmas afterall. |
abi o. N500 is already at a discount. although we have to remember that a good number of the patients are indigents and could hardly afford the said amount excluding hospital fees. |
i dont think it is anything illegal in the case being discussed. However large scale corruption of other kinds does go on in such public institutions. |
are you a prophet? |
whoever is playing the first leg away from home would have a massive advantage. would be interesting how barcelona would rise up to this challenge. remember they even lost at the camp to Shakhtar Donetsk a couple of months ago |
