PoliticsWhats Happening With Ibori? by snowdrops(op): 11:18pm On Oct 07, 2010
Amidst all the brouhaha of unstoppable kidnapping, wasteful Independence spending, Abuja bomb blast and FIFA suspension, it seems everyone has forgotten about James Ibori.
Is he still rotting in a Dubai cell? Or has water been moving under the proverbial bridge?
Any news?

TV/MoviesRe: X-factor (Who's Watching) by snowdrops(m): 9:30pm On Oct 04, 2010
X Factor has turned into one big joke.

Cheryl picked 2 girls that did not even sing. Left out the very good ones.

Either this Cheryl [drama queen] lady is so daft, of so desperate to keep out people with potential who might eventually challenge her in the future.

She should be kicked out as a judge.

Louis should have been made as heir mentor.

supereagle:
Rubbish When NFF needs money they run to Govt for a bail out, when things are going wrong, Govt cant interfere. to hell with FIFA.
In that case since Nigerian government is hell bent on interfering with football and cannot abide by FIFA`s fundamental rule of non-interference from government, then Nigeria better set up their own parallel football system.

E be like say na emty space dey btw your ears biko.
SportsRe: FIFA Bans Nigeria For Government Interference by snowdrops(m): 8:12pm On Oct 04, 2010
FIFA have clearly stated the conditions that must be met before the ban is reversed. I believe they are achievable.
Pity it is coming leading to the ANC qualifier.

On the flip side it is sad for Nigeria, sad for Africa and sad for football. Nigerian football, the administrators and the sour relationship with FIFA.

Yes they messed up, but the other girls that didn't make it had some things missing that are very important. Judges have to think of issues like, can they work with this person, will the public pick up the phone to vote for him/her, and can they make exciting live TV?? Cher and Katie have something eccentric and unique about them, while Rebecca appeals to the public, and as Cheryl said, she has a very good "spirit" that makes you just want to be her friend.  As for the groups, boys and the over's tongue, I don't have much to say. Too much make-up and polishing by the production team will make a lot of these folks lose their natural quality that we loved them for. But let's wait and see.
Nice arguement. If its all about who would connect most with the public, then theres no need for boot camp or judges house.
They should just send their favourites straight to the knock out stages.

We all know IBB and to some extent Atiku are more or less untouchables. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
I think they may be "called" for questioning by the police, who will have a chat with them over a cup of coffee/glass of wine, and eventually released. Both men may eventually be forced to stand down from contesting with GEJ.

They are very unlikely to end up in prison even if they are really behind these attacks.

That does not make it less of a murder. Innocent citizens have been killed for their selfish and silly reasons.

Violence never merits its means and never yield any sustainable dividend

If you know who they are why dont you refer them to the law enforcement agents so they could be arrested and possibly charged instead of going to the media and making these allegations
