SportsRe: Bolton Sack Shittu With Immediate Effect by snowdrops(op): 10:27pm On Sep 01, 2010
means our dear old shittu is now clubless. a pity because the guy for me is a decent defender and deserves more than what he got at bolton. hopefully he can keep his chin up and do what sol campbell did and get signed up by a new castle/blackpool, etc.

SportsBolton Sack Shittu With Immediate Effect by snowdrops(op): 10:08pm On Sep 01, 2010
Bolton have released Nigeria international Danny Shittu from his contract.

Shittu, 29, joined Bolton from Watford in 2008 for a deal worth in excess of £2 million, but he made only 12 appearances for the club.

A statement on the club's official website read: "Bolton Wanderers have reached an agreement with Danny Shittu to release the defender from his contract at the club with immediate effect. Danny leaves with the club's best wishes."

Shittu was part of the Nigeria squad that competed in this summer's World Cup.

FamilyRe: Men, What Wud U Do If Your Wife Hid A Property She Is Building From You? by snowdrops(m): 7:42pm On Sep 01, 2010
Where and how did she get the money to finance the building project? Any sniff of marital infidelity?

She must be strong willed to have hid such an enormous task from her supposed husband for that period.

What else could she be hiding from him?

The future of that union looks bleak. The man should file for divorce and request through the courts the wife sells the property and divides the proceed 50-50.

it shows one thing human beings are wicked ,how can one think evil of another,l dont understand why mainland people have serious beef with island ,this is a free land if you so desire rather if you can afford it move to island. It a known fact that land around the coastal areas attract the highest price all over the world and Nigeria is not an exception. l have lived on mainland and island and both can not be compared, l wont trade island for anything. So all you haters of island people go Jump.
You are confusing issues. This is not a debate about island/mainland. You would be surprised that majority of posters dont even live in Naija.
Its about accepting reality and the fate that awaits the inhabitants of flood prone areas in lagos.
They better start buying canoes while they are still cheap as when the water levels start rising and canoe turn hummer jeep, people go begin swim go mainland.

How high can the foundation get. You cannot fight nature never. Even the higest mountains cannot stop a serious flood in its match to havoc.

What is this mumu comparing? I didnt compare anything or any body for your information . . . . .

I only asked Threadstarter, It means he would have closed down Fox news and CBS for broadcasting items that present him in bad light to the people? since he was advocating boycotting of AIT programmes just cos her Chairman is rooting for IBB.

Pls go and get a life . . .
you are the one that need a life as your currently seem miserable and sordid.
the point here is not about having a different view from everybody else, its about the person of IBB. he is evil, cruel, heartless dictator. someone strongly implicated in various crimes including murder.
anyone canvassing for this low life to return and ruin what is left of Nigeria should be chained at the bottom of the atlantic ocean preferably with ibb.

those who bought land/houses at exorbitant prices in the aforementioned areas would be pissing in their pants at this news. those houses/land would be worth peanut in years to come when they eventually become submerged in water.
TravelRe: Belize To United States by snowdrops(m): 8:40pm On Aug 31, 2010
best to apply for a US visa straight. look for someone to invite you from the states or book for a conference some of which can be found online. you need to then show proof of funds ie bank account.

resist the temptation to travel by land through mexico as the border areas are all but dangerous at present.

What does the oba of Benin have to say about this ? I thought the curse they cast the other time was to stop kidnapping .na wa o
wrong. the curse was made to condemn the kidnappers soul to a life of misfortune and eternal damnation not to literally stop them from kidnapping

A senior consultant in the department of Medicine, University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) Professor Abel Onunu has been kidnapped by unknown gun men in Benin City.

It was gathered that, the suspected gun men invaded his Evbomore residence in Benin at about 8.p.m on Wednesday and has not been released by his captors.

The gunmen were said to have shot sporadically into the air, before taking their victim to an unknown destination.

Commenting on the incidence yesterday, the Chief Medical Director of UBTH Professor Michael Ibadin said the Management of the hospital received the news of their colleague with a rude shock, adding that medical practitioners were care givers who rendered selfless services to the people of the state.

Professor Ibadin, who expressed dismay that the adoption has dropped the morale of the doctors and other health workers in the institution appealed to professor Onunu’s abductors to release him unconditionally.

In the meantime, medical activities have been paralysed at UBTH as a result of the withdrawal of medical services in protest of the abduction of professor Onunu.
