Bro take it or leave it. Teaching no dey pay for Naija. Even teachers in the western world are not comfortable with how much they earn. My mum was a teacher, she retired last year, so I am talking based on experience. In my own opinion e hailing will pay more than what you earn as a teacher. My advice is as you are doing the ehailing, learn an in-demand skill alongside, eventually transitioning into a new career. I have 2 friends that were in academia, one was a lecturer in a popular university in Nigeria, but they all resigned. All you need to do is take a leap of faith, to leave your comfort zone.

OP if you are comfortable with javascript.. Why not learn Node.js. It's becoming far more popular. It's has a lot of modules both core and third-party modules like express for rapid development. That's what I use to handle my backend.

Never programmed in php but have heard laravel is the big deal. I do all my backend using node.js and express

Go search for devtips and traversymedia on YouTube. They are all YouTube channels, there you'll get css crash courses including project based videos to cement your knowledge in css. Also download this book "CSS the missing manual" it's a very nice book.

Yes you can.. All that matters is time and effort u put in. There are tons of ebooks and videos you can get for free. Check out thenewboston YouTube channel by Bucky Roberts there are lots of them there and will advice u to watch videos cos it keeps u up with the latest trend, u have that feeling like u are having an interactive tutorial with a tutor. I learnt JavaScript on my own. Just quote me by telling me the language u will be interested in learning and i will tell the best resource for learning the language. Happy Coding bruh
