Y is the house so quiet? As someone said, the house is sober. I think it's time to encourage each other on safety precautions and re-evaluation of trends in the market. |
I just got creditted by my broker but less my expectation given the price at which she sold the stock. By my calculation, it was 4.83% less the sale proceed. Now, my question- is this correct or someone is trying to pull a fast one? I'd thought the commissions and charges due d brokers and sec etc will amount +- 1.9%. Hoping to hear from the ogas in the house |
[quote author=stockbull]yes.they normally do transfer.although their account would be locked with cscs but they have a way of doing it. It may not be legal though....[/quote thanks stockbull. First time responding to my question. I just discovered my former broker is on suspension and wouldn't tell me and i asked her to sell my shares which she admitted to have sold since last week and has not credited my account with the proceeds. Till monday i will knw what next with her |
Again, can a suspended stock broker by any means, sell the stocks in his/her custody? |
Keep it up mr Elai. I think you are now the stockbull of the house. Invaluable contribution for me personally. |
House, if a stock broker is suspended by sec, what is the fate of the clients of the brokering firm? |
Chiadikaobi: Are there not interested partners in Enugu, abia, anambra, imo & Ebonyi that really wants to venture into this biz?i will ring u soon. Are u on wassap? |
Funny waec. I wonder what is keeping them from paying those that did the job to produce the result. First things first. Pay those that supervised the exams! |
Thanks again Elai.. This was exactly my calculation since it was .50k and after the construction company, it was made #2.50, so i'd said it was just a play of nomenclature as nothing was lost nor gained except the recent drop from 2.50 to 2.25. Maybe stockbull got more info about this. He should share |
stockbull: it simply means investors/shareholders will lose 80% of their stake in the stockhow does this happen? Can u throw more light on this |

Hahahaha... Funi u! |
Thanks Richyoung. Will do just that now. |
Well a good move if i may say but what did the orji kalu do or say when in his state Abia the present gov TA orji sacked/deported all the civil servants that has worked for years contributing to the economy of Abia state to their respective states?. The Lagos case is an extension of the chauvinism, disrespect and utter violation of the rights of nigerian citizens by their own fellow compatriots. Can an american legally employed and working in San francisco be deported to florida or cleveland or newyork or oklahama just because he/ she is not from San francisco. Shame! |
The market around this axis is yawning. |
Enugu, awka, calabar, ogoja abakaliki, afikpo, Nsukka, here. |
