PoliticsRe: Official Thread::: Delta State Election Rerun by sochan: 10:26am On Jan 07, 2011
With these things the truth will finally come out. I am just so pained that it takes so long for a people to get justice. Let us face it Uduaghan is not liked and wanted in Delta state, why are they so desperate to get in, it is certainly not for the Masses. This is the same man who went to beg the people of Delta North, for his wicked deeds to them, now all we see is victory for him in that region, it cannot be true.

I think it is too somplistic to discount the comments on sahara reports. Please read the comments careful and feel the raw dissatisfaction of the conduct of the election. It is shameful that this sort of rubbish is allowed to happen in 2011.

People genuinely do not like or want Uduaghan, he has been a failure and represents the evil past. what beats me is how he was allowed to run in the first place.
PoliticsRe: Official Thread::: Delta State Election Rerun by sochan: 7:54am On Jan 07, 2011
At the end of the day, a PDP victory will be a big loss for the Masses. Whether we like it or not, they were credible evidence that a lot of arm twisitng, thuggery, and violence was used. Even in 2011 we are still hearing of garri and rice politics. It is a real shame that the common mans wish may never be realised. in my opinion this is not politics, but a real big fight between Good and Evil. Those who see it simply as politics should go and think again.

E go hard Uduaghan to come back. I smell trouble
PoliticsRe: Official Thread::: Delta State Election Rerun by sochan: 9:49pm On Jan 06, 2011
My people the stakes are high, if what Abagworo is saying is true, I wont be suprised. Such is the dislike for that Short ugly thief, that I wonder why he was allowed to run in the first place, even with serious fraud and money laundering charges against him
PoliticsRe: Official Thread::: Delta State Election Rerun by sochan: 9:09pm On Jan 06, 2011
From very reliable sources. Great is far ahead, and will most likely be declared the winner
PoliticsRe: Official Thread::: Delta State Election Rerun by sochan: 6:21pm On Jan 06, 2011
@Tosag,

My broda, make una small small. I almost laff fall when I read yyour post below

In my area here at Sedco Road, Enerhen, Warri. the ballot box has just been snatched by armed PDP thugs. It happened in my presence. The policemen who were around were busy eating buns and drinking pepsi while this was happening.
PoliticsRe: Official Thread::: Delta State Election Rerun by sochan: 2:35pm On Jan 06, 2011
Please people go to the sahara-reporters link and get firsthand information. what is going on is terrible.

http://www.saharareporters.com/news-page/updated-delta-state-election-re-run-it-election-or-inec-scandal-unfolding-field-reports

I said that this will define the general elections this year.
PoliticsRe: Efcc Arrests Arik Air’s Chief Pilot by sochan: 2:21pm On Jan 06, 2011
Let them go and arrest Uduaghan, A crook who has been allowed to contest elections again. I just hate this stupid country.
PoliticsRe: Official Thread::: Delta State Election Rerun by sochan: 2:13pm On Jan 06, 2011
I have always said that we should start charity from home. The good people of Delta state are better placed to advise on the real going-ons in the state, not one who visits from time to time.

I am still extremely dissapointed that Uduaghan was not disqualified from the start. He should never have been allowed to run.

I made a very bold claim that this election will set the scene for the rest of the general elections this year, and from what I hear so far, we are in for real trouble
PoliticsRe: Official Thread::: Delta State Election Rerun by sochan: 2:05pm On Jan 06, 2011
@Aisha2,

you and I are friends on this forum, and to be honest your assessment of Uduaghan is totally off the mark. The Guy is a Devil and should not be even contesting the elections let alone being given the chance to win. And this is coming from someone who knows him well enough to say he is not any of the things you have said

Beaf is not well, you guys should bear with him. I am trying to convince him to seek medical help. Broda Beaf, the truth is out now, please accept help, we are you friends, just like Nigerian Police is your friend
PoliticsRe: Why Is Gej Campaigning For The Return Of Uduaghan As D Governor Of Delta State? by sochan: 12:23pm On Jan 05, 2011
Folding hands and watching. Its is only in Nigeria Thieves are celebrated, and honest people condenmed.
PoliticsRe: Pat Utomi On Utomi And Volkswagen Of Nigeria by sochan: 9:54pm On Jan 04, 2011
This is what phucking gets on my goats. Nigerians are never satisfied, I dont get this, we are in a country that has never know good governance for over 50yrs, now a decent good man decides to stick his head out to run, and all we know how to do is run him down, and in the process we leave crooks in-charge, only to complain again after 4yrs of inactivity.

Like I said, the problem is not if Pat is prepared to collaborate with others to form a credible opposition? no the problem is with the average nigerian, who sees nothing good in others, but is prepared to sit by thier computer and critisize those who try, never offering credible options

This is the usual pattern, a candidates name is raised, we tear him or her down, look at the negatives, never the positives, and then end up where we started.
PoliticsRe: Pat Utomi On Utomi And Volkswagen Of Nigeria by sochan: 4:55pm On Jan 04, 2011
Xfactoria makes a very valid point

Guy, truth is all the progressives you mention don't have the kind of money to dole around like the "bados"!

However, we the masses need to play a key role. Whislt we would like to see the progressive come together, how many of US on here are prepared to work with them to implement this change? We need to be involved as well. How many of us a prepared to give money to the cause, and time as well?
These things just dont happen, we need to play our own part
PoliticsRe: Pat Utomi On Utomi And Volkswagen Of Nigeria by sochan: 4:02pm On Jan 04, 2011
@Mbulela and Ibime,

Listen guys, Utomi means well, but I get your point about teaming up to provide a formidable and credible opposition. It is hard in Nigeria where everyone wants to rule. Pat has a deep conviction about wanting to lead Nigeria in the right direction. but let us keep watching. I have great admiration for those willing to risk all to try. Lets not forget that to participate in elections in Nigeria remains a serious risk to life
PoliticsRe: Pat Utomi On Utomi And Volkswagen Of Nigeria by sochan: 3:32pm On Jan 04, 2011
@Ibime,

how do you know that? Are you privy to the paper and concept he proposed? Please let us learn to celebrate those amongst us who have done well, and are PREPARED to give thier one kobo to help us

Utomi has not done any wrong
PoliticsRe: Pat Utomi On Utomi And Volkswagen Of Nigeria by sochan: 3:29pm On Jan 04, 2011
@Ayubam,

I have fought this war for so many years. I must admit there are some of us that just wont accept the truth. We see someone like Utomi who can offer so much to the country, but we would rather talk him down, and some would even group him with the thieving politicians.

Meanwhile these same people are not prepared to raise a finger to help our country. I am sick and tired of Nigerians, we are just an absolute useless bunch, probably worse than Atiku and CO

Enough said
PoliticsRe: Core North Deliberately Chose Tough And DIRTY Fighter by sochan: 1:36am On Jan 04, 2011
@9aijaman,

Stop being funny. Where did an ex-customs man get that sort of money to aquire that sort of investment? How much was his salary? People like you are quite prepared to look the other way when a terrible wrong is being commited, and thus become part and parcel of the corruption problem in Nigeria.

Nigerians should be asking Atiku where he got his money from. if he was in the UK, US or anywhere sensible, he would have been in jail a long time ago
PoliticsRe: Nigerians; A Call To Fight For Your Rights! by sochan: 7:15pm On Jan 03, 2011
@Babuji,

I have tried for years, and I will not give up. take this forum as a snapshot of what happens in society. We have people who are prepared to defend wrong when they see it, with the usual phrase being "Na only am". That attitude gets us know where. i have even argued whay we must give those who can make a difference a chance, but to no avail. I am convinced that the Nigerian is happier when the country is like this, after all a disfunctional society hides the fraud and inadequacies in us all, After all no be only me bad.

We need to change mindset, and that is no small task. probably give up on the current generation and this of the kids in theri early years, because the depth of rotteness is beyond belief. Our GREED knows no bound
PoliticsRe: Core North Deliberately Chose Tough And DIRTY Fighter by sochan: 7:06pm On Jan 03, 2011
@Akainzo,

It is laughable for you to bring Mr Gates into this, but to answer your question, Atiku is not a successful businessman, he is a corrupt politician, a big thief in my opinion, that might go for GEJ for all I know, but I stll maintain that we are the problem in this phucking country, when the likes of you see nothing wrong in Atiku, that tells me exactly who you are, and why you are no different from Atiku.

If Atiku is so successfuly, what are his business ventures?
PoliticsRe: Nigerians; A Call To Fight For Your Rights! by sochan: 2:57pm On Jan 03, 2011
@Babuji,

They exist amongst us, but we never give then a chance, because we are scared that competent leaders will quickly expose our inbreed corrupt nature. we as a people just do not believe in a society that works. We are part of the problem.

can you imagine what will happen if things are done on merit rather than back-hand. can you imagine how many people will be exposeds as frauds. the truth is the desire to do evil far outweights our desire to do the right thing
PoliticsRe: Nigerians; A Call To Fight For Your Rights! by sochan: 1:06pm On Jan 03, 2011
@Babuji,

Very true. The problem is that wickedness and corruption has eaten deep into the fabric of our society. Our people are not interested to having a good selfless society, we are too self consumed to act in the interest of others.

Let us start by choosing good leaders
PoliticsRe: Core North Deliberately Chose Tough And DIRTY Fighter by sochan: 12:37pm On Jan 03, 2011
@Oyb,

Sorry, but am I to understand that you would rather be represented by Atiku, than more credible candidate.

Please answer this question, how did Atiku make his money. Please be very clear about it. It is good practice for us to discuss openly those who we want to represent us. How did and ex-customs officer make so much money? Let us learn how to ask simple basic questions about everyone who is looking to go into politics.

Atiku is not an eminent scholar, he is not an intelligent successful businessman, neither is he from a wealthy family. So I am in my right to question, and I mean seriously question his source of income, that will inform me on when I choose who to lead us?
PoliticsRe: Atiku For Ndigbo 2015 by sochan: 12:27pm On Jan 03, 2011
What rubbish is this? I am an Igbo man and I choose not to have Atiku represet me in anyway. This is very unecessary, the man is a big thief and in my opinion no friend of the Igbo's

Let the cussing start
PoliticsRe: Why We Dont Want Gej Beyond 2011. by sochan: 8:08am On Jan 03, 2011
Though the poster has not given her onw reasons. It might be helpful to the debate if people offer alternatives to GEJ and give reasons why the alternative is better. Simply saying the man is not good does not add any insight to the debate
PoliticsRe: Core North Deliberately Chose Tough And DIRTY Fighter by sochan: 7:56am On Jan 03, 2011
I think people keep over looking that fact that Atiku is a wnated man in the US for serious money laundering and fraud charges. I cannot understand how any one can take him seriously. In my opinion he remains a fraud, cheat, and thief. And he must go and clear his name before he is allowed to run.

This PDP is an unbelievable party, Known theieve are allowed to run for public offices while that masses look on, some evern knowingly back then. I will continue to say it, Nigerians remains the reason why we have bad leaders
PoliticsRe: Atiku Takes Jonathan-economics To The Clearners ! ! ! by sochan: 7:49am On Jan 03, 2011
what I dont get is how Atiku with the numerous charges against him, is allowed to run. Should he not be clearing his name first.
I have often said that we get the leader we deserve, if Nigerians can even consider one who is wanted for money laundering charges. Let him go to the US and clear his name, rather than debating issues I doubt he has a clue about. The guy is just not fit to be considered in any way
