PoliticsRe: Is Uduaghan Better Than Ibori? by sochan: 8:22pm On Jan 02, 2011
@Ridax,

Uduaghan is a BIG THIEF, a certified CROOK. I am very sure his own purnishment is on the way.
PoliticsRe: Between Obj,ibori And Efcc by sochan: 6:25pm On Jan 02, 2011
Ibori, wife, concubine, and thiefing lawyer commited a major crime in the UK which they are duely being purnished for. So stop all the crap of victimisation.

I beg, when is Ibori coming to the UK to the tried, flogged and toned with rotten tomatoes?

Good for you
PoliticsRe: U.S. Bomb Experts Arrive - FBI Agents swarm Abuja - OBAMA Says ' We will assist' by sochan: 12:06pm On Jan 02, 2011
This is very welcome development. I have nothing wrong in people admitting failure and seeking help, in my opinion it is not a sign of weakness, it takes a real man to admit to these sort of things, No one can claim to know it all.

The fact remains that our security services are not up to scratch and need help. If only we had sought help earlier, maybe some of this would have been averted.

Well done GEJ, let Nigerians know that you are better than the wrong percerption flying around, by seeking wise council. If the honesty in your heart is true, then I wish you well.

And for those who have sought to harm innocent people, the day of reckoning is near
PoliticsRe: Bomb Blast: Al Jazeera Out To Destabilse Nigeria – Presidency by sochan: 6:13pm On Jan 01, 2011
Speculations will be rife, Oga has not done the decent thing and done a national broadcast assuring Nigerians he is in control
PoliticsRe: Solution To Nigeria's Problems.let Us Suggest. by sochan: 2:41pm On Jan 01, 2011
@Abagworo,

Your point is well taken, but not as simple as you think to implement.

firstly, you need to educate the populace on the benefits of having and living with people of different tribes and religions.

Secondly, I do not think that religion is necessarily the problem, it is people interpretation of religion that is the main issue, if you take that away they will find something else to fight about.

So one again, education remains key.

Do you guys see any correlation between our failing education and the sharp rise in untold crimes and restiveness?
PoliticsRe: Bomb Blast In Abuja by sochan: 9:01am On Jan 01, 2011
Listen guys, I have been one of PDP's fiercest critic, but I think we should tone down the constant lashing of GEJ.

Whilst I agree that he might have dealt with some of the issues better, let us not forget that Nigeria is an immensely complex country to govern. It is much easier for us to sit by our computers and critisize, But this guy inherited a system that never worked from day one. Nigeria has been a patch-patch job for so long, that I am not surprised and the current state of affairs, it was only a matter of time for things like this to start happening.

We must all get behind him and give him all the support he needs. Lets not forget that we as Nigerians are also responsible for a non-functioning government as we have all chosen to stay out of helping the country go.

There has been a steady pattern on this site, which is to constantly complain about everything, rather than offering to assist and help. We make the country what we want it to be, Not GEJ. So lets give up all this constant whining an get involved.

You all heard from Aisha2 how Nigerians were actually coming out to help, we are not doomed as a people, there are still good people left, even the police that was constantly bash
PoliticsRe: Bomb Blast In Abuja by sochan: 8:43am On Jan 01, 2011
@Beaf,

Take it easy my brother. I understand where you are coming from, but this is no time to threaten fire. Let us mourn with those who have suffered loss.

If truly this has a political undertone to it, of which certain people feel they can make Nigeria ungovernable, this is totaly the wrong way to go about it. From where we come from dem say "Pikin wey say im mama no go sleep, im sef no go sleep". There is not way anyone can plan to destabilize the country and have peace, there is too much hot blood in the country for that to happen.

Lets pray that the evil people are caught and made to face justice swiftly
PoliticsRe: Bomb Blast In Abuja by sochan: 12:20am On Jan 01, 2011
to be fair, if this was anywhere else besides Naija, those making threats would be brought in for questioning. Threats like these are taken seriously.
PoliticsRe: Bomb Blast In Abuja by sochan: 11:32pm On Dec 31, 2010
@Aisha2,

I so sorry to hear this. please keep safe.

guys let us respect those caught up in this. This is really tragic for us all. Nigeria needs our prayers, not mud slinging and blaming each other, which is what the pepertrators want. I am truly sadden by this wicked cowardly act. never knew that the Nigeria I have known and loved would come to this. God please help us
PoliticsRe: Bomb Blast In Abuja by sochan: 10:17pm On Dec 31, 2010
@Abagworo

No I'm not an anarchist but a realist.We need to save Nigeria.I always suggested that the election be cancelled and a sovereign national conference convened where true federalism,resource control and re-structuring is done before any elections.
I think it is getting too late for GEJ or any civilian to do that.

I said this same thing when GEJ came into office, that the best thing who could possibly do is call for this conference, it is badly needed. We as nigerians need to know how we plan to live with each other. This Ad-hoc put-together thing wont work.
PoliticsRe: Enugu Assembly Endorse Atiku by sochan: 7:54pm On Dec 31, 2010
Listen, this is where I trun blind with my accusation, if anyone can tell me that a common customs officer, can be worth so much without stealing, then I accuse that person of tell phucking lies on this site. Atiku is a Big Thief, if he is not, let him take nice weekend trip to the US and see if he will be back for the elections.
PoliticsRe: Enugu Assembly Endorse Atiku by sochan: 7:51pm On Dec 31, 2010
That is what I have been trying to tell Beaf for years. Oga and Atiku (big thief), are soiled with the same Shiet (PDP). Same difference, they are both considered Thieves
PoliticsRe: Inec Seeks Additional N45.39bn For 2011 Poll by sochan: 1:06pm On Dec 30, 2010
No, no no, 132BN for elections? and people are not questioning the figures? This is too much. $1B for elelctions alone. No Prudency in this our country. I don tire.

I think I should just give up the good fight and join the stealing parade, this is just too much
PoliticsRe: Africa's Bright Facebook Spots by sochan: 11:38am On Dec 30, 2010
For once, I agree with lagbaja20.

Not quite sure what the significance of the above is, we must be careful not to read too much into these things.

I recently signed off my facebook account, becuase in my opinion, the thrill had come to and end. Dont get me wrong facebook can be a useful tool, but should be considered as one of the tools in the box, not the tool. Beisdes a lot of people seem to be spending a lot of unproductive man hours on it. People are fast recognising the limits.

I heard a film star comment on the same thing yesterday, he found himself spending unecessary time on facebook and just like me decided to turn the damn thing off

PoliticsRe: Ribadu Worth N26 Million At End Of Efcc Tenure by sochan: 11:43am On Dec 29, 2010
@Gbawe,

Come oh, have they dis-barred Aondoakaa? The ediot does not deserve to sell pepper in the market let alone being a lawyer, I really wonder how he made SAN, some would suggest he bought it.
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Worth N26 Million At End Of Efcc Tenure by sochan: 11:27am On Dec 29, 2010
@honeric01,

Yes he has but, I also expect him to vigorously and in the strongest of terms condemn the recent killings in the North, that is likely to give his fiercest critics an opportunity to see him in a different light.

Whether he likes it or not uncomplimentary comments especially with his religion has continued to follow him around like a bad smell

That said, he is an upright man, who has my support, but I aslo thinks he needs big clever brains behind, success cannot be achive with brute force alone

What do you guys think of this combination

Buhari / Utomi team, Ribadu head of security
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Worth N26 Million At End Of Efcc Tenure by sochan: 10:51am On Dec 29, 2010

You might be right, but all have to get involved to drive the evil pdp out.
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Worth N26 Million At End Of Efcc Tenure by sochan: 10:43am On Dec 29, 2010
I bet you Beaf did not bank on this sort of response. This has really turned back and bitten him on the A$$. To bad brother, those who live in glass houses should not throw Bricks
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Another Bomb Explosion In Jos by sochan: 10:32am On Dec 29, 2010
Absolutely shocking. I smell US intervention soon if this is taking this sort of dimension
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Worth N26 Million At End Of Efcc Tenure by sochan: 8:49am On Dec 29, 2010
well that is small fry compared to 300million naira, after 1/2 a term as deputy governor of Bayelsa state. Now who is more suspecious?
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Another Bomb Explosion In Jos by sochan: 8:46am On Dec 29, 2010
Oga needs to review the entire security situation in the country. Nigeria is not a safe country.

Remember how we were held hostage by millitants, then kidnappers, now Extremist.

They needs to be an urgent security review, and I mean quick. What I dont understand, is that this place already has a lot of security presence, how are these evil people getting through?
