The truth is that Nigeria has not grown politically. in 2011 it is still chicken and rice politics. Nigerians still dont understand why things must be done the right way, I even hear people endorsing money giving and bribery, it is our way they say, meanwhile nothing works in the state.

Voting in Delta state is far different from what is obtained in the North, so you are not comparing like with like. Why was the election annulled in the first place. We are taking about serious and I mean serious election malpractice (Guns and co). But we will see.

Uduaghan is not a popular man, and has not done well for the state. His ways are wicked and has in not brought peace to our state. There is no way that a man with extreme history of corruption and fraud can be seen as a good thing. This is a very sad day for Delta state, sad day for democracy and sad day for all Nigerians.

A very sad day for the people of Delta state and Nigerians in general. Ater 50yrs we still cannot conduct free, fair and trouble free elections in a single state.

I beg no mind some people whey no come from Delta state, but feel fit to comment on our issues. Please all these people, who really arent friends of Delta state, they didnt vote, thier friends didnt vote, yet the feel qualified to comment on the election.

listen, it is pure common sense, if the elections were as good as some suggest, why the deployment of troops. Why do people sense trouble, after all the innocent have nothing to be afraid of. And for those who think that Uduaghan has done a good job in Delta state, it is a real shame that people do not understand the meaning of good, even after going to school. The lack of education has really eaten us deep.

Uduaghan is a corrupt thief and does not deserve to lead his family let alone Delta state.

Its a pity as a people, Truth is no something that we are used to, and probably never will. If Nigerians can accept that this was in anyway a good election, then what else can I say.

Listen, I spoke to very credible leaders yesterday after the elections, and there was a general concensus that Ogboru won this thing. So it is hard to accept was it likely to come out.

Question if the pdp and co,were so liked why the need to deploy the army. If the populace really did vote for pdp, after all the innocent never need to be afraid

I totally disagree with you. They were massive irregularities, including excessive rigging. There is no way this election can be seen as credible. Again in our usual Nigerian sense, people suggest that is is swept under the capert, after all it is our Nigerian way

It is very very important that we get this right. There is really no room for error. If the elections were flawed to this extent, it throws the whole credibility thing out of the door, and one can not say that it was free or fair in anyway.

There is clear evidence to suggest that the elections were a complete sham. the outrage on numerous sites speak for themselves
